w00py (The next woop is in the next review :) Yup, nice level by the “ELM Productions”. The eyecandy is good, can many things better. Gameplay.. Nice. This level is confusing. Everywhere layer 5, the same things as Layer4. That’s soo confusy. Weapon Placement, Ok. It’s only too hard to come by the PUs. The music is irritating. Overall, a nice level. The ELM productions can do 9.5s!!

P.S.: There’s a big bug on 55,40[This review has been edited by Taz]

i guess its kinda ok level. i haven’t played it that much, but the tileset is hard to use. good job.

This is a short review. It has less impact on the upload's score.

SteelTalon’s first level, which took him over a year to make, is a very high quality CTF level. It ha tons of secrets, and many interesting details. I have actuely only one complaint about this level: each of the text strings has vanish set to 1, so that you can only read them once. Also, there isn’t much need of a bonus room with a full energy in it, if there’s another full energy that you can just grab. But apart from that, great gameplay, great eyecandy. Like stripe already said, SteelTalcon puts the “E” into ELM. Get this level ASAP.

Bug fixed. BTW, it might be a good idea to add that this level is definitely not a good level to play in Low Detail.

I think now PP is polished enough that I can deem it has “Gone Gold”. All future updates will affect the version number. You guys that have downloaded before this latest update have been a sort of beta test. It’s impossible to find all the bugs by yourself (thanks Taz, I thought I had fixed that already! ;)).

So, as a recap, if you downloaded the level before 5/29/02 you should probably download it again for compatibility reasons (yes, all 16 of you ;P).

And Taz: This isn’t 9.5 material? ;P Anyway, if you read the readme you’d know this was intended to be a difficult level but not necessarily confusing (can you clarify what you meant?). And there is an abundance of secrets (I bet you didn’t you know that there is a blaster powerup, a toaster powerup, an electro powerup, an ice powerup, a seeker powerup, and 3 full NRG carrots).

[EDIT: 1.01 version available. Various bugs fixed. 5/29/02][This review has been edited by SteelTalon]
