Good tileset, nice example levels, I loved the last level ;). The music is awful. I like just a little part of it, when it sings at flute. So I hate it. I like the first ex. lev.‘s trees, and I hate the 2nd ex. lvl.‘s trees because they’re concrete and they’re a little not good looking. I like that you put underground.
I’ll give:
Tileset mask – 7,5 [I hate that you didn’t make concrete cactuses so that Jazz can suffer a little more (How evil am I, Muhahahaha) and I hate the jungle trees’ mask]
Eyecandy – 9,7 [The best part of the tileset, you put day/night/cloudy sky and a sun, green/yellow/blue/grellow(green+yellow) hills and you even put underground, nice work. Well I just hate that clouds have such a squarely form]
Ex. levels – +0,5 (They’re all aproximatively identically, but they show you every thing, well I can’t give big ratings for ex. levels, but I can give – ratings>:) )
Music – 6,2 (Worst I ever heared,it’s even worse than Neonius)
So total (don’t forget that I’m a very-good-at-maths-nerd) – (9,7 + 7,5 + 6,2) / 3+ 0,5 = 23,4/3 + 0,5 = 7,8 + 0,5 = 8,3(rounded up to 8,5). Well I think it worths more so I will give a 9,5 :)!
Download recommendation.

Oh yeah, this really really rocks! This “Africa” tileset by one of my favourite level & tileset creators Disguise is a tribute to his “continent” (which is in a very difficult situation but thats an other story) and the landscapes down there.
It has all elements a tileset needs (like backgrounds, objects for the fore layers etc.) and really looks beautiful. The author also included five cool CTF levels (actually one level but using different background: lowlands, jungle, desert and night) that have very good design and eyecandy.
The background music is pretty “chiptunish”/demostyle so it has to be cool (Besides, it fits perfectly!).
To sum it up: this is a super l33t tileset and a MUST DOWNLOAD FOR EVERYONE interested in Jazz2 (high eight points!).

Exceptional tileset by Disguise.
Has a 3D look and nice ways to use it, all shown in the cool example levels. The music used fits well into the levels and to put it into two words: DOWNLOAD NOW. :-)

Nice tileset, you could do a lot of levels with this pretty cool tileset. Music was good, but not the best.

I got this one from Jazz 2 City a long time ago… I think it’s a really good tileset! The graphics are very good. I like the anthill/termite mound thing!

Very vivid colors. I really like the tileset. For some reason when I was a n00b I commented on some music. Likely in my head. ;-P[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]

Sorry about the delay in reviewing this tileset. I sort of had taken a brake and playing Jazz2 and moved onto other stuff, like making games. Anyway, I have seen this tileset before and I though it was exellent. It covers a variaty of tileset. Its colourful/colorful (Australian – American) and allows you to make a variety of levels. The music sort of doesn’t match each level, but when you put all the levels together, it sort of does. Anyway, these are my awards in the tileset
Best texture – Mountains
Most original animation – the ant hole
And I also love the way that you can change the periods of the day and stuff. I give this tileset an 8.453432958305839 :) And since I can’t select that, I’ll give it an 8.5. An extra 0.046567041694161, and to think I get a b in maths ;)
Hm…..The backround eyecandy is good, a bit cartoonish, but i like all the different mountains which u include in a lot of your tilesets. The backround cannot be warp, and is too cartoonish
The tiles are all cool. You can make multiple scenario’s with this tileset, which includes deserts, semi-rainforests, lowlands and other stuff like that.
The thing that wasnt as good was the user friendly. It takes a while to get used to it, and that takes away most of the points from this.
This is still a great effort worth a d/l reccomedation
