Description

Nobody converted any of the 4 – 6 Keen games. Why? I have taken matters into my own hands and made a conversion. If you bug me enough, I’ll make more. ;p Don’t rate the example levels, but please tell me how you like them.

    This tileset is very good in my opinion. It does miss some things from keen 5, but that’s obviously why its called set one. Anyhow the tileset is well done , and easy to use. The masking isn’t bad, although it doesn’t have my birthday mentioned…. ;P. anyhow (0.o different colour) the example levels are very good and show the wide uses of the what u can do with the tileset. Although in the one part where the seeker power up is I would think you’re supposed to be able to go down, you can in teh keen games anyhow. I hope you complete the series , and good job from me.![This review has been edited by Spotty]

    Alright set, but it’s blocky (you could’ve made it smaller or ran it through a special program) and you don’t have any layer3 tile to cover the front of the holes. And there’s a lot of blank tiles.

    Commander Keen 5[blue : Set One

    POSITVE:
    >Many Tiles*(5)
    >Animation of the Blue fire*(2)
    >Many Background tiles with stars(1)
    >Animateable Fliping Board(1)
    >Animateable Lights (1)
    and and and
    (10)

    NEGATIVE:
    >In the example Level and in the CTF level not all tiles used. (uncomplete explaining)(-2)

    Overall: A nice convertet Tileset
    *I`fe never played Keen5 So i don`t know if there are onlytwo animations of the Rocket-Fire and i also don`t know if these set has all tiles.

    YES! Finaly, there is an COMMANDER KEEN5 TILESET!! I was waiting long for this! Becouse, I’m also an C.KEEN GAMER!
    I want to make all episodes of C.KEEN with Jazz2! I have allready tileset 1,2,3,4 and now…5! I hope C.KEEN6 and DREAMS also will be created in a tileset!

    If it were smaller, it would look…odd. And it’s a conversion, not a remake. Moreover, I’d have yelled at him if he edited them at all. ;P
    Technically, the bottom hole tiles are the layer 3 tiles, although it isn’t the best use. And I also yelled at him about the empty space, but…eh.

    On the other hand, where can I get this de-pixelating program?

    Danyjel, in the game, COMMANDER Keen, Keen all most beats a man up for calling him Captain Keen. He prefers Commander, thank you very much. ;p
