Description

Yes I know this isn’t the best battle level out there, but it is made by Frankenquist’s worst tileset ;)
Anyways, he made it on purpose. This was my submission for a competition to see who can make the best battle level with the most simple tileset out there. This level got second position. First position was won by Bobby. I removed some excess weapons and fixed the “next level” field before I posted this. I’ve also had a mod I’ve wanted to put with a lvl for a long time now. Some of you might like it, and others not, I’ll just see how that comes out. In my opinion Boray is one good tracker :)

Hehe, Disguise always surprises me with something new and different. I really like that :-)
The tileset he used for "Simple Battle" is…well…simple (only 54 tiles) but kinda effective. The level design is, like always, very open and very playable which makes it a fun battle. Not to mention the good weapon placement.
The level even has some nice eyecandy represented by those arty geometric shapes in the background.
The music choice is good, but to be honest, its not my favourite tune. Its melody is still to…you guessed it…simple.
Very lucky, low seven points because i find this kinda original! DOWNLOAD NOW and see yourself.

P.S.: Most 5-year-olds will like this, too, ehehe ;-)

This is a good battle level, but

its TOO simple I’d say.

But nonetheless, a very nice level.

Whee, I remember this. :-)
Uses the simple tileset by FQuist. I must say I like the 3d effect here, made a good effort to use the tileset nicely. The weapon placement was balanced, not too much, not too little. The eye candy could have been improved, but you get away with that because of the simplicity of the set…

The music choice was ok, could have fit much better though.
Conclusion: check this out. Now. :-)

I liked the tileset :O:O:O:O:O:O:O:

The eyecandy is what it should be, considering the tileset, not to bad not to good. the placement is very bare and boring, i didnt like that. The left is open, which lets players be “invinsible” if they hide there. The springs are placed well, and the gameplay, im not to fond of it. Gets boring. But i rated this 1 mark higher than i should of because this is a to simple tileset to make good levels with.
