A short while ago I made a list of the official tilesets ranking (in my opinion) from the best to worst. Well, Tubelectric ranked second to last (Psych was last) so that was the perfect reason for me to make a level with it (I like a challenge). Anyways, the design on this CTF level is something I haven’t done before. This is where you come in. Because this is a new design and all (with all the pipes) I just want ur opinion if u like it more than my old design, like the old design more, or if you don’t really care. I lost all my mods so ur just gonna hafta be satisfied with the official music. Oh yes, almost forgot, I stacked a bunch of readme files in the thing. Kinda like Commander Dats does, but not quite as funny. Haha, they’re all inside jokes so most of them you won’t understand (unless it talks about you). If you do want to know what I mean then just ask the ppl I mentioned in them (don’t even bother askign Distruct about the Alarm Clock thingy). Now if you want a really funny story then just read at the bottom of the readme file. Also in that packed up file is basically everything that’s going on in my currently miserable life (if you don’t have JMMB around ya gotta think of some alternative).
Most of you think that I’m gone off the net and I have no internet and such and you won’t see me until late January or early February next year so you have reason to believe that I am a fraud that hacked Disguise’s (my) easy password (it is basic, lotsa ppl know it, even Dats). Well, yes. I haven’t got my original P3 450mhz anymore with internet. Dats purchased that from me. Also my other P200mmx has been sold to Distruct, so I’m stuck with my OLD P133mhz. Distruct is sleeping over so he has his PC over here that I made the level on.
Not a bad peice of work. Nice design and eye candy. And the Event placement if good all the way.
But, I do find that all the tubes make for confution, and take too long to get into your head on which goes where. Also, the base path isn’t the best ever, also the level is a little big.
Should be worth the download.
And Disguise, Tube Electric is a very nice tileset, really. :-)
Well, if i should rate the amount of blabla in the level info and the readme file (dont miss that one! awesome stories from Africa), "Troublesome Tubes" definitely would be in the Top 10.
Apart from that, the ZiP file contains a very awesome CTF map using one of my favourite tilesets. The tile placement is very original, i saw many interesting layer arrangements (thats what we call eyecandy) and the overall layout is really tight and therefore superb (some people won’t like that many tubes though).
Conclusion: i don’t have much too add, it’s just a Disguise download. EVERYONE should immediately ADD THiS MASTERPiECE to his/her level collection. No doubt.
Btw, seriously, in my opinion, you should not misuse J2O and readme files as chatboards for misc talk. Really. If people read your real life stories here later, they wont make much sense anymore.
In my opinion a GREAT CTF level by Disguise. I like the unique metal placement/eye candy. The base placement was good, the layout is decent and pretty fluent. Stuff was arranged nicely. My only real complaint was the base placement could have been improved.
Definitely worth your download. Click the “Download” link above please.
Heehee, the alarm clock bit was my favourite. HAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! It’s just too funny.
