    Strato, this level works just fine. Anyway, review time

    Gameplay – Good
    I like the gameplay here a lot, but it has some flaws. In several places, it’s easy to get stuck. For example, the author put a warp target with a wall right on it’s left side, this making you get stuff when you warp to it. Also, there’s a place with one ways that I got stuck in a lot. Other than that, the gameplay is fun and original and worth a second play.

    Enemy placement – Good / Very good
    Nothing wrong here, I like the placement a lot. There are some bugs, though. For example, at one point, there’s a tough turtle enemy in a one tile high passage, thus making him walk but not move, which looks rather buggy. There are some other flaws here and there, but none too big to hurt the rating at all.

    Food placement – Good
    The food placement is good for the most part. It seems that the author forgot to place food in some areas, though. You should try to evenly distribute food around your levels to make them look professional. Pick your food events carefully, as well. I’m not quite sure why there were bananas here.

    Pickups placement – Good
    My only complaint here is that there aren’t enough gems, but it’s still very nice.

    Eyecandy – Good / Very good
    Great eyecandy here, but nothing original. There are also some bugs in layer three. Remember to give secret passages a very thick coat of layer three. Don’t just put one tile in layer three for every tile in layer four that is part of a secret passage. I noticed you made that mistake a couple times in the level. The eyecandy has some tile bugs in the boss room, too, but nothing too serious. What I would like to see in the level is more carrots (not carrot events, I mean carrot tiles), turnips (or whatever they are), and perhaps some moth events. The 16-bit textured background could also look nicer. You should usually make your textured backgrounds fade to a color other than black, especially if it takes place during the day. It never hurts to be original, either. Take a look at Blackraptor’s Junkyard level (I believe it’s uploaded under the name, “Some CTF Level,” or something of the sort). It has a yellow textured background that fades to a sky blue color, if I remember correctly, and it looks great.

    Overall – Good / Very good

    Download reccomendation – Yes, but be prepared to use JJFLY and JJNOWALL to get unstuck in some places.

    Replay – Probably.

    I hope to see more levels by this author in the future. Nice work. My rating is 7.7. If there were no bugs that made you get stuck, I may have thought about giving this closer to an 8.0.

    The eyecandy: The eye candy is ok!

    Music: I love the music

    Tileset in use: Yeah, I love carrotus tileset!

    Enemies: Many but not too many!

    Cat: There’s two(or more) funny cats in this lvel

    Lizards: Many of them!

    1up: There are too many!

    Jack-In-The_Box: There are many that’s good!

    The end-boss: I love him!

    Time to review:

    Hmm.. really cool level here. eyecandy is very good too.. this is one of my favorite levels using this tileset. it has some very original ideas in it, like that dog contest thingy. ;P
    Tileset was used correctly too. i like it. background layers were nice too, my only complaint is that you should make that background to fade to some colors. it would look nicer. ;-)
    Gameplay is good too, springs are nicely placed, and so are pickups and enemies. really nice level here – a DOWNLOAD RECOMMEDATION.

    Ok, so I’m beginning to rate and review some levels again, after a long pause, which I kept, because I didn’t have such time for this and I was some bored, but now I’m loaded with some new energy, so here it goes. The review for this level:

    DESIGN/FUN-FACTOR
    I saw instantly that this level was such a for fun-style. Well, then this is going to be fun factor, well..it wasn’t kind of fun to play if wasn’t bored, but it might were a good snack if you wanted to test it. Let’s say that this deserved a six about fun-factor, because there were no design.

    EYECANDY
    It was the same old eyecandy which is enough good to deserve an eight, but there were some awful bugs or tile-placing problems. I mean that you could have fixed them and improved some with layer five. Like the place where you have to shoot the destruct-bricks to get to the upper floor, the problem could have been fixed with an another way, example layer five. So it’s a seven.

    ORIGINALITY
    It’s a seven for a first guess, and for the last one. Level’s your made, which is the main-thing, tileset and music are basic, but one point goes off also, because of the basic eyecandy, I mean that you could have created layers six and seven with different bricks.

    GAMEPLAY
    There’s only one level and it isn’t shocking long. The floating landscape in some places could have all been just thick bricks, but it doesn’t matter in this case, you aren’t able to fall without cheats, though. Anyways, the secret warp’s warp target is too near the left wall, the character sticks to the wall if you move any, that you should fix, because you have to use cheats to get out. Again, this section doesn’t give very high point. Only a three.

    Enemies, ammo, carrots, savepoints, etc. are all averagely placed.

    DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATION: As I said, if you aren’t bored, this might be a quick snack for you(but it’s just my opinion.)

    ENDING COMMENTS: Ok, I think that was all, I don’t put any special comments, because I’m feeling some sick already because I haven’t had any fresh air today yet, just practise using JCS, and make something more innovative.

    Well, I made edit anyways, because seemed that I rated a bit low, but really, only a bit. This overrating should stop now, indeed. I will give it a half-point more, so it wouldn’t look like unfair. But I just might have a bit different standards and I don’t give “easy-points”, for almost anything. But be nice of the half-point which I gave you anyways, because of these overraters.

    JCS Version 1.20 never existed so I assume that it’s either OEM CS or that old JCS that had a different name. 4 letters or something. Anyway, because of lack of existing I asumme that this level dosen’t exist either.

    labratkid, if you are stuck, you can move to the left or to the right and you’ll get out of it, I changed that part, I don’t know if you saw that.
