I think this level isnt all that good, but as it is just below average, ill review it. (The below average is my opinion) Here goes:
Eyecandy: Very boring eyecandy, i have to say, some of the tiles dont look right and the background is simple and boring, it looks like the background is moving at mega speed, not the ship or are you on one? If not, the background shouldn’t move so fast. It nakes the lvl seem a bit unrealistic. Also the background has some wierd iron balls moving about, and some stars or stuff, shooting at a hyper speed. The layers used were 3,4,6,7 and 8, which is above average, but there are unrealistic things that make the eyecandy below average. 3/10
Gameplay: There are too many big and cramped passageways, with no ammo, whatsoever… bad. There are about 3 routes to each base, which sort of makes it more fair and a lot more interesting. However there are deadends and that makes the flow a lot worse… bad again. It is quite hard to get stuck though, there is a part with springs continously hitting you right to left and back, simply if you jump and press down at a good time, you will go into a wall with warps which will warp you down below this part… that isn’t bad, nor is it great, but it is quite thoughtful. On the other hand quite a lot of events could have been used but they weren’t… bad yet again. 4/10
Pickups: Well this is not very good, seeing as two power ups right next to each other, but the seeker power up, however is apart from the others… yay! You can either RF climb to get it, ot use bouncers or electro blasters to get is, same with the other power ups. Most of the ammo is at the red base, which is a bit unfair. I dont really want to right more but this gets 4/10.
Overall: A 4 is what i will give this little CTF level…
