This is a remix of the Tubelectric songs from Jazz 1 and Jazz 2. It was created by Insectdroid, better known in the Jazz community as AstroniA, who asked me post it up.     Is this an April Fool’s joke? I do not claim to be a numero uno tracker either but I agree with Aiko that it’s too much NOT a remix, “merely” some beat-track slapped onto it. Not very original IMHO, even my own remixes of JJ(2) songs are better (I’ll post something soon if you don’t believe it).
    A 4 for the idea and the effort. Only download if you’re collecting this stuff… Come on Insectdroid, I know you can do better than THIS!

    Almost forgot to post some constructive critizism:
    - Don’t just increase the speed, some pitchbends are way off now
    - Don’t plain slap on a beat, use instruments that fit you and the style of the song and/or fiddle in some nice new tracks
    - Make it sound “whole”, as mentioned many times before, it now sounds as a (rock-)song with a seperate (rave-)beat under it. No good, amigo
    - The only good parts where the intro-fx and the actual beat, put some focus on original melodies or instruments

    I’ve had this off TraxInSpace for a while, and I liked the added beat, and I wanted a file I could play in JJ2. And my prayers have been answered! Sure, not much is added, but what is added was great!

    The only real difference I noticed was that it was faster(and had a few sound fx added). You can do a bit better that that…

    I don’t like it very much, but a 6.0 for the idea (who ever edited a song?)

    P.S. To Aiko, why you said to the admins they must delete a track when i added it to the download database? Why? And why you don’t say that to Wakeman also?

    Remix? All that’s changed is the Speed of the song and the Breakbeat Boom Boom Boom.

    It’s about time someone made something like this. I’ve always pictured both JJ1 and JJ2 tubelectric going toghether in one. I think I’ll even use this for another TubElectric level.

    I think,so re-mix should be more the more than fasting track, but TubeElectric is good and cannot be destroyed by remix.

    Ya know, this reminds me a lot of the Diamondus remix I just reviewed, and it’s pretty much the same basic thing. Double the tempo, and throw in drums. At least he did a little more with the track than this.

    For the record people, this DOES NOT MAKE A REMIX.

    WooHoo! Techno Mix of Tubelectric! I must enjoy this piece…

    So not. We have faster original piece with some new nice techno beats. Nothing more.

    Faster tempo here just sucks, beats are fairly good, but something is missing… Arrrgghh… No hi-hats… Just beat – snare – beat – snare. That “fairly” is not enough. Firstly I thought this could be good for technophiles, but no. I like techno too, very much, but this is bad.

    (-) without hi-hats
    (-) Faster tempo does not sound well
    (-) Nothing else changed.

    Maybe there will be found somebody who will like this mix… But I can’t recommend it to download, that was reckless…

    Wakeman, could you create an account for AstroniA or let her/him create one? Then re-post it?

    Well, anyways, i don’t like this “re-mix” too much. I admit, i never was the module composer #1 in town but from what i hear the author didn’t “re-mix” the whole song too much. It’s just one very techno orientated (BEAT!BEAT) track added. Not my favourite style of tracking, sorry. I won’t rate it in any case, because it wasn’t made by Wakeman (who posted it). It’d probably get 6 or 7 points from me.

    This isn’t a proper remix. Just faster and an extra sample added. It was quite loud too so i just stopped after 5 seconds.
    (Unsupported rating (3) removal. How can you TELL if you only listened to five seconds? ~Violet)
