The tileset is nice but I don’t like it, if my rating was the rating that the level would have by MY opinion i’d prolly give it a 6, btu I gave it a 6.7 :)

The set was made with screenshots of the original game.

This is a very cool set. It contains differnt worlds of the Lost Vikings game (Ship, Egypt and Forest i believe). It also has the main characters (sometimes not a good idea, but i’ll remain neutral :)) and even Tamator (i believe that’s his name). Putting in the enemies of the game was a nice idea. One minor setback was the bad masking at some points (background walls being masked…yuch). The demo level show you well gow to use the set. Too bad the author forgot to uncheck the “Hide in Home Cooked levels list” box (ALWAYS uncheck with single levels).
Conclusion: This is an excellent set if you want to make a level with variaty. A 7.5 it it. OK Aiko, your turn :p

The vikings are back!
This time Erik, Olaf and Baleog (and all their enemies and levels) enter the world of jazz.
Great tileset, many variations, lots of anims, possibilities and more. It has my recommendation for a download!
Plus I happen to like the Lost Vikings and have been planning to try and make a set with it myself :)
Awesome!
This tileset features tons of tiles from the first lost vikings game for SNES. It features Tomator’s Ship, the dinosaur world, construction site, and Egypt. Can we expect a Lost Vikings 2 Tileset??? :D[This review has been edited by KJAZZ]
yeah and why did u just copy silencer’s review? oh well..anyway ill brb im gonna rate this too in a minute
one minute later:
k back. time for a review
this is a very VERY nice tileset, featuring a hell lot of nice tiles and characters. i think this could be one of the best tilesets ever created (no, really i mean it)- is there a plan to rebuild the original lvls to jazzform already?
if u havent downloaded this yet, download it NOW!

Heh! I remember playing the Lost Vikings Demo back in 1994! Nice platformer, but somehow it was too slow and too puzzle orientated. Well, lets concentrate on your conversion.
This tileset includes 300 tiles from the original Lost Vikings game. You’ll find all kinds of stuff in it: animated enemies, foreground and background structures, walls, water, lava etc. etc.. I really like the idea of converting this to Jazz2. And i’m sure you can do some real nice levels with it. In his small Single Player example, the author already showed the potential of his tileset.
Great work, Jaws! (high 7.5 points, VERY close to 8…i was undecided :-). And a MUST DOWNLOAD for everyone! No doubt.
The tile is nice,
vikings are cool! :)
Nice Tileset
i Dont Know the game
But the Tileset Rocks
$tîlêttø Out
I loved that game! Cool tileset!
Great tileset!
I never was of the Lost Vikins, but I played the game a few times at Fire’s house (The original Fire, newbies).
There’s a lot of stuff to use. And with this tileset it’s possible to have good professional looking lvl. Everything is original and as I look at other’s reviews, and I don’t only mean for this thing, but to load of others: People aren’t rating fair.
Some of em are jealous that they can’t make such a good tileset, cos he just got a 4.7 for his.
His name isn’t Disguise or EvilMike and he’s isn’t from ML or J2LC so he can’t get higher than an 8. Just check a few tiles from these guys. All got higher, but only some of em really are better than this one.
For the tile: It looks good. Only buttheads will be able to make a badlooking lvl with this tileset. For all regular creators: Succes garanteed.
Wow, a very nice little conversion from the game Lost Vikings! (shame, I’ve never heard of that game.) This tileset is pretty nicely done, contains a good tile for most cases, along with a small example level showing you plenty of interesting things to do with the set. Game converted sets always seem interesting, and this tileset is more than good… I suggest you all DOWNLOAD NOW! (I might edit this, and make my score an 8, Not sure what to give it, really.)
Kool. No review, just kool. d/l now. I think you’ll really love it. Duh.
Nice tileset!
Many variations.
Like stil said i dunno the game but this is a VERY nice set,I expected this to have real vikings,But it was even better!(i hate vikings but i love space stuff)The example level was very cool and a real chalenge. What is so cool about this is there r already enemys so you do not have to use the ones from jazz2 to make a single player level.Too bad you can’t make one tile have two events so you could make the ememys destruct scenery.Jaws I hope to see more sets like this in the future!Congratulations Jaws you get a 10!!!!!
I completely agree with Zieg.
My review is nothing compaired to these top reviewers, but anyways…
I think this is a cool tileset, has some nice animated tiles (the mummy) I Suggest you keep making tilesets.. this one is REALLy cool
Coooooool! :-D
Definely good, well designed and very, very original tilest!!
I love the lost vikings game. I’m in the wierdland place….
Well anyways, a pretty good tileset. I never knew Tomator looked like THAT!
Here’s a review by me, so here it goes:
Masked Tiles:
It was put in real good, but a bit bad in some places. Putting the masked tile on the star background was a good option (If ya wanna put the sucker tube thing like in RHB).
But the strange thing was about the Quick Sand, other than that.
Rating: 7.2
Tiles:
Real good, ya even put Tomator on it, the enemies, the vikings. The bomb, the house, almost everything! But except, a few more Tomator animations would be a little better (If ya have TSF, than you’ll be probably ready for a BIGGER tileset! :D)
Rating: 10
Layers:
Not much there, it was a good try since The Lost Vikings game doesn’t have much layers. Minus the count you didn’t use the real space background from the Lost Vikings game (the one when your in Tomator’s space ship)
Animations: Making them is quite good, but it would’ve been better if you added more running or walking anims for the Lost Vikings and some more of Tomator, and his attack and teleporting.
Also for SOME enemies, the bottom part where the blue and white dots just made my eyes go: _
So don’t try that please..
Rating: 7.5 (cause of the tiles meantioned above, about the blue and white dots thing)
Background: Not much there, the space background is a good touch, but there also could’ve been one more, the one about the space background when your in Tomator’s ship.
Rating: 8.7
Overall: You got a 9.7. from me, can’t wait probably for the next The Lost Vikings Tileset, if it’s gonna come
Aw yea! This review made me a Medium Reviewer![This review has been edited by Master Cheater]
Definitely a very cool set. If you liked the game and would like to see Jazz in it, this is the tileset for you![This review has been edited by Ninja Dodo]
