hmm..ive seen this lvl when it was still halfway..and i really thought it was going to be a very nice lvl, but now i see the final version, and i dont like it too much.

using the medivo tileset was pretty nice, but there is almost no eyecandy, and a lot of irritating paths..also very jazz-unfriendly :(

i found only 1 start position, u always start at the red base..which is a very big mistake in CTF :S (yes i did try it 100 times)—-maybe the author didnt set special teamplaces…

the idea of using ice is quite well, but both bases have different springs (the base at the right is harder to reach..more chance of being bounced back)

there are some weapons, but all placed in a strange way and strange areas..

overall..i know the author has put a lot of effort in it, but his attempt to create a nice CTF level has become (quite) a failure…too bad

    Hmm, i agree with splash.
The level is lori and some places are even jazz unfriendly :(
The base at the right is harder to reach than the one on the left.

This is a short review. It has less impact on the upload's score.

strange splash, there is 1 start position, ok, but that one is on the right, at he blue base!?

    ok, the level.:

    ~too many emptyness

    ~too dark

    ~bad weapon placement

~and there is something more: The level name in JCS is “Torturing Chambers” but you save it as “Toturing Chambers.j2l”.
So when you want to go to the next level, he gives a error. Bad :(

    ~bad eyecandy

~you get stuck at some points.

~and the springs at the red base are very annoying.

Sorry, But i cannot recommend to downloading this.

First of all: very good idea to use this neglected tileset!

Design and eyecandy of these “Torturing Chambers” are slightly above the average (nothing very special but still decent enough) and the idea that the player has to collect ice to get to the flags isn’t bad actually.

As the other reviewers already mentioned, there seem to be some unfair places regarding CTF play, though. Not so good.

And and by the way, if i remember correctly, the “3D spike ball” event causes access violotions when the host gets killed in one of those swinging spike balls. Maybe thats what you described above, F!re. Not to mention the annoying next level problem (nice little spelling error!).

Nonetheless, fans of the Medivo tileset and all the CTF’ers who are surprised they finally got another new map after a long time, will like this. Everyone else: think about it or download some other levels :-)

A medivo based CTF lvl created by Fire. Like other users mentioned before the start postions are quite unfair -> always start at the blue base. Weapon placing is rather bad and the playability gets a low score too: Dead ends, using the wrong spring (green instead of red in some places).
The thing which is done good is the toughnes number for the bridge.;) I’ve seen lvls from J2LC and ML where this is done very bad and unrealistic.
The “Ice-Passage” is found very good, this way the Frostbiter gets very important in the lvl.
A good 5.2 -> Not bad, Not good. See for yourself.

    WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Better don’t download this level I had a runtime error several times. :(

I’m working on a single player lvl pack and I promise it will be really good.
