Description

Let’s Make A Tileset: February 2007!!! The original work in ’07 bogged down in a long series of alternate textures and castle block tiles, resulting in this set, which seeks to separate the ideas of color, texture, and shape into three largely separate dimensions. Prismatic Palace allows the user about fifteen different textures and six different colors (as well as black) to combine in various walls and castles, along with a number of supporting tiles. Play in 16-bit color!!!!

    More experimental than fully practical, but the theme works, and it’s a fun exercise to use. And it’s always good to see another LMAT set finished!

    This is a great, versatile tileset when it comes to basic ground tiles. There are numerous ways to get creative with them. The glaring issue is that it has almost nothing else to offer. It’s as if the LMAT team challenged themselves to create a tileset without inputting any artistic prowess, only basic geometric shapes, CG textures, and gradients.
