Amazing tileset. Eyecandy has been well made, textured background is nice, the water is great. Some tiles are stolen from Traditional Japan, but he made that tileset too, remember?
Allright, a few animated tiles and a good drawing style, it is snowy tileset and there could be more snow on the roads in my oppinion. Anyway, you can make a level in different sides with this tileset. You can make it even better then the example level. This level has everything what a good tileset needs too. But I expected more tiles with trees and other stuff. But it’s good anyway.

Anyway, again a good tileset and fine too use. I’m waiting for your new tilesets and hold this up ^^.
    DR: Yea, sure!

Yeah ground really looks like tradjap but the whole tileset is very good. It is very usable, and you can make background very good. just put some of those 12 (or some other) tiles in layer 5/6 and make it translucent, so in layer 6/7 make something nice, like in my Old Jungle ;). DR yes. What’s wrong if he used style like in Traditional Japan? Blade used his style in almost all his tile sets and they are all good. What’s wrong with this :) ?

    Ok, little review:
Good tileset done with some people.
    Have great atmosphere, ice effects…
Good draw and palette. Great animated tiles…Also this tileset have all need tiles like: Exit and Text signs, arrows, ropes and etc. Also this tileset have enough good palette for Psych, Diamondus and Carrotus poles. Bridges palette is normal(didnt change)…Good tileset in making of all sorts of levels like battle, single player and battle.
    Also nice music choice…

This tileset is just amazing. Includes some animations, the most important tiles, colors are great. The background is incredible! Download Recommendation!

Well-drawn and fairly flexible, but in no way is this tileset exceptional; the most appealing part to me was the background.
Edit replacing review, for Dodges: The structure of the ground is similar to that of Traditional Japan. It is made of many small rocks in a “cartoonish” style with heavily defined outlines.

The background is amazing, and I like the hexagon shaped soil. I dont see why this being similiar to Tradjap should be a problem.

Tried using the set. It really is a pain to use, for it is so incredibly lacking in necessary tiles. I’m pretty sure every level made with this set will look exactly the same. It’s a shame, since the set at least looks nice.

Wow. Has no one seriously written a halfway decent review for this thing yet?

Allow me to put you out of your misery, Dodges.

This is a great level. Not perfect, but great nonetheless. The color palette is oddly reminiscent of Inferno Day, but that’s okay because it’s a good color scheme. Not too many bugs with the tileset. Example level is promising as well.

There’s a lot of good eyecandy present here, which is every levelmaker’s dream. No particularly ugly tiles, no serious gaffes.

Overall, I think it’s worth a download. Blizzard has good eyecandy, agreeable colors, lots of options and a load of design potential. Snarf it up, kids.

ok i write about the tileset looks like cold
    weather new background though
@Jgke it doesnt look like traditional japan at all
except the plant which is frozen and the ground
the tilset could be used for tests too because
those coloured tiles some how the night version
doesnt look like night i think you should make it
a little more darker well and the frozen spaz
ogg file for music? lol! eyecandy is good
pretty good graphics the night version only needs
to have a little darker background and thats all
i think i will have to end my review now so
its more than enough ok then.

Well.. This night version doesn’t really look like night imo…

The only thing taken from Tradotional Japan is this plant. And it’s frozen now. I dont know what is so similar to TJ, except the drawing style. I don’t see any resemblance. As sucker tubes You can use some ground tiles – You would use layer 3 anyway… There are most of those usable tiles – for hurt event, text, vines/hooks, arrows, v-pole and h-pole, collaps scenery, destruct scenery, empty masked tiles, black tiles for transparency… So i don’t know what’s this about.

    ———————————————————

@Obi! All of the palette events work properly! Palette for snow is done well, but we are not able to use it in multiplayer as clients. And what’s with the reliance on layer 5? That is why the gamemakers made this layeer! To put something on it.

And well. I realize that vines’ mask is bugged, and to be honest – i didn’t know how can i solve this problem. :(

The shading could be better, some tiles look so plastic. As minmay said, the ground looks like traditional japan ripoff. There should be also more usable tiles like sucker tubes. Because of that that tileset doesn’t deserve for more like 7,5~. The ratings like 10.0 are so biased imo. And yes, the background is impressive.

Does the level work with ogg file? if yes please tell me how to. Until now i recieved an Unsuported media type…
