Description

The long awaited (well maybe not) JJ2 Admin Kit Server is finally here! This program lets you do admin things to your server from ANOTHER COMPUTER. Just start up the server, and telnet into your computer, or use the specialized JJ2 Admin Kit Client (which I will post soon) to do all sorts of neat things to admin your server. If you want to make use of the features locally, you can simply connect to localhost (127.0.0.1). I want to thank iCeD and Monolith for helping me test this. This is version 1.9, and I will start doing 2.x as soon as I get some feedback on this.

NOTE: This is not TSF compatible

NOTE2: Don’t rate this if you don’t know what it is or does. I don’t want people ruining the rating because they don’t “get” the program.

    This is a very useful program I was talking to iCeD about something like this.

    But the :chat is buggy It doesn’t work the most of the time it worked for me when I talked in all CAPS.

    I use this often. Unfortunately, I have found one instince when my friend recieved the server part pretending to be a game and another user used it to mess with his settings. The only reason it didn’t get a 9.7 was this and the only reason it didn’t get a 10.0 was the chat glitch. Changescore doesn’t work well, either. :)
    Download rec, though.

    Trafton: Rating edit. After extended use, I’ve found this occationally crashes or just doesn’t work, so I’ve had to severely lower the rating.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]

    This is a pretty cool little proggie—and usefull too! My favorite thing about it right now are the abilities to change the next level and change a player’s score. These two things combined make is easy to switch to any level avaliable.
    One big problem I have with this version is that the :chpscore command doesn’t seem to work anymore. It keeps saying I didn’t put in the | (pipe) charcter when I did.

    The :chat command seems to be the most buggy, but it probably can’t be made much better.

    I don’t really want to give an actuall rating yet, but right now I’m concidering it to be about a 7.0.

    Sorry about the | thing. I’ll figure out what is wrong and re-upload it as version 1.10 ASAP.

    TSF compatibility will be in version 2.x, because I have yet to find the memory addresses.

    Agh…if you don’t know what it is, or how to use it then don’t rate it!

    This is a nice little program, my main problem is what Monolith mentioned about :chpscore. The chat works fine for me, but once it did do a weird thing of filling up the entire screen with my one message.

    This is hard to rate, but it could use a few more features.

    This looks like a useful prog, once i can master all the strange buttons and all ;P.
    With all the options and things like port, im sure this could
    be a very good program for my server or soemone elses :P
