wow, this is a great tileset. LOADS of eyecandy and easy to use. DOWNLOAD THIS NOW!
I’ll try and keep it short this time. I haven’t made a proper Nature tileset is quite some time, so this is where this tileset comes in. Nature sets are by far my favourite, but unfortunately also the hardest to make. Of course trying to prevent it from being ‘just another nature tileset’ I added a nice Aztec/Tribal (I guess the tribal bit comes from my streak in africa) temple. The music file is different from my susal choice, but I decided to give it a go and see what you guys think. Besides, it has a nice jungle theme with it to go with the tileset. And more importantly, I would like to thank all the wonderful testers (and Fquist, hehe, jk) and helpers mentioned above. Seriously, they have put a lot of effort into what they do and deserve a HUGE thank you from everybody. Without all the suggestions they had to improve the set (and to the sightest detail) it wouldn’t be what it is today. I know some testers would still think the tileset isnt finished with testing yet, but I’ve reached my final deadline. In the coming few days I won’t be here, and will attend a school trip. Waiting for tests after the trip would make the tileset a week late, and I’m sure everybody doesn’t want that. I’ve fixed everything possible mentioned by the testers so far, and I haven’t spotted nay new bugs lately, so this should be ready for uploading. And as a last comment, enjoy the tileset! :D

Shadow showed gave me a url of a screenshot of this over icq and I was amazed! Krezack reminded me about it so I downloaded it and tested it and I have only one question, how the heck are you able to make things like these?
I like it.
It looks kinda flat and sparce when you look at it in JCS, but don’t let that fool you. When you put the elements all together, you get a spiffy, artistic looking level.
Nice work Disguise.
~Buster
(now if only you’d release Just Another World with a blue sky instead of that weird green one, I’d love you forever…or maybe I’d buy you a pizza…)
One word, PERFECT!
Looks really coolnezzy, and…
Congratz…
YOU’VE BEATEN Agama! ;)
There comes also a cool example
level. As I wondered over, I saw it’s battle. Great idea.
Great tileset.
My only dislike is the nature ground+grass, it’s still kind of weird and has too much straight lines. Nature is curved ;p

Whew, another totaly 133t tileset by Disguise. The tileset’s theme is obviously a ancient abandoned temple, deep down in grassy noman’s land. The theme id well used, themed tilesets are good. The tileset features Disguise’s totaly awesome drawing style, as we know it from ‘Spacey Universe’. The tileset has some realy nice stuff in it, like well drawn trees, grass, with litle rocks in them, some grass to put on layer 3, like in Disguise’s “Africa” tileset. Ground comes in two diferent types, grassy and bare, sandish. It also has, for use in traps in singleplayer levels, litle arrows, probably shot at you by the local natives;). Also included are a few bloody looking spikes. Vines where included too. The temple part is also pretty cool. Nic elooking 3D ground, a few nice pillars, and a big statue of Jazz. Download this 133t litle tileset now.
Lol Quiast j00 fussy lil man ;-P
Send me the program texture maker Wisey please.
REVIEW:
Beutyfulness ;-D
Good work with the forground grass on ramps and main ground. I love the aztec kind of blocks too!
Definatly download this one folks!
Btw, next set of yours must=alien tooken over space station!![This review has been edited by Nitro]
wheeeee cool set man .Must be much work just a lil bit more training and u the like agama or me dethman..:P Uhm what to say.. read the other reviews :)
btw. the stone rabbit and the textures rule. Hm also writesn :( ;)
d/l this !!!
A tileset about a forest ruin. It doesn’t have the real “Jazzy” feel like Agama’s Nature tileset has, instead, Disguise (again) manages to give his own feel to the set: 3D-ish style! Wow, Well done and Weefun! The whole set looks very, very nice. Trees, statues, rocks, everything looks just right. Well…dunno what to add to the review anymore, I think everything is said, so I suggest everyone who has not yet downloaded this should do so immediately. I would also suggest people to start mixing Disguise’s and Agama’s latest, plus a bit of the original Jungle, to create some wowy Jungle-packs! A solid 9.2!
edit: Barney will lose. He is outnumbered ;)

Heh heh… Should be god in my upcoming “rpg“ish pack. :-)
Nice work on this. Agama, ye’ve definetly got the beauty for the sets, but not the ease of use… this does.
A yes, finally this TileSet is released.
And thank god one this one looks great and is easy to use.. Accept those leafs/grass with the balls in it.. it’s kinda confusing..
But tis is what I want so its a nice combo, Great Eyecandy and Easy to use..
oh, yes Diguise is reaching to perfection with his sets.. please go on!

:O!
Did humans, errr….jackrabbits made this! :O
This eyecandy is just bad for my teeth ;D
“…and once again, WR comes with his review later than late…” Oh well, nm. Let’s get on to the review…
WoW! This tileset is just fantastic! It’s got everything you need for a perfect nature tileset and it’s…guess what? Easy to use. (D the ground is beautifully textured with rocks, leaves, bushes and nice grass. ;) I also like those cool blood stained spikes. Creepy… There are (obviously) more than just grassy fields in this tileset. There are nicely decorated caves with cave paintings and (at least it looks like it for me) the earliest form of rabbit writing.
And…also, not to forget the stone statues of Jazz, which looks really neat, and also all the other stone blocks, which really give one the feeling, you’re in an ancient rabbit temple. However, the temple tiles don’t have that much eye candy. It would be nice if you added some carvings inside the stone and fire. (Like in Agama’s Egypt tilesets) But the temple part of the tileset does have some different toned stone pillars, which can be used for…er…various purposes. ; -P
Nature’s Ruins has also got all the necessary stuff for a proper tileset. Vines, V and H poles, sucker tubes, destruct blox, arrows to point you in the right direction, nice platforms (in forms of very nicely textured and detailed trees) and also blood stained spikes (I mentioned them in the earlier part of the review) and also my favourite tiles in this tileset: The shooting arrows. They are absolutely fabulous!! They may be hard to animate but the results are a big, single A big, fat +1.0 for that nice stuff. :-)
And then last but certainly not least, the background tiles. They are definitively not the best tiles in the tileset but at least they’re above average. The background itself is a kinda gooey blue (or something else…) and the mountain looks like something taken out of Bryce 2 (ah! Disguise did mention Bryce in the “Other Authors” section. Darn I’m smart! :-P) The rain is also…er…ok.
Well…
muble…muble
Er…
mumble…muble
Just a sec!
1+2=??…Aha!
Because it’s fantastic…I’ll give Nature’s Ruins a 9.5!
Download NOW.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Well it seems all the stuff has been said already.
Nice set, though not as good as some othere disguise tilesets I’ve seen.
OW well considering the ease of use combined with the variaty and the masking I’d give this only a 7,7
Tileset is to good for IR,IR wanna have mask to :D,NM that goofy stuff,Great Tileset anyways Mask is used cool,Eyecandy was good placed the arrow animation was funny too,btw Silver IR BEING? :D
Xan
Awesome. The one thing I didn’t like was the ground..it looked sorta weird. But I did love the Jazz statue. =P And everything else about it I loved also. ;)
~SB
P.S. How could I say anymore?
Awesome!,
O yeah Agama`s Tileset`s arn`t hard to use…
G-R-E-A-T,You has showed the world that you are one of jj2 tilest master!Graphics are realy nice. You made too less ,,special’‘ stuff if someone wanted to build SP level with it.Anyway,i know that if someone put good use to these set,he will make briliant and cool level.
Good, but I prefer your MeZmErIzE tileset with the marble and everything.
Very cool tileset, very cool textures, very very cool!
The only thing i do not like are the trees in the background, but all the other things are so great! So, DOWNLOAD!
This is a nice outside- tileset with a music that gives you the spirit of the jungle :). The combination of outside and temples was made very good, and I like the stone-jazzes.
The trees don’t look that real, but you can do a lot with them, and I know how hard it is to make a good-looking tree, especially with 256 colours.
A very good tileset at all. Download. NOW.
Heh, brilliant. Wisey’s definetly got that 3D look but not the jazz jackrabbit 2 look that agama’s got, so heh. Kool X10 :)
You’re right disguise, this isnt “just another nature tileset”. It’s a GREAT nature tileset. We will definetly see some levels with this one.
It has wicked color, nothing morew tp say about that. The tiles are so cool, there are 3 different types which all rock. Some VERY good levels can be made with this. There are trees and stuff for eyecandy ,and a nice working backround. As well as some interesting rain and water. A definete download reccomedation

I downlaoded this set long time ago,and forget to review this too, but anyway im gonna review it now!
very good tileset!its very good , i love those temple tiles and jazz statues!
First:
Eyecandy: 10/10
Tileability: 10/10
Masking: 10/10
Animation: 6/10
The only flaw with this tilest is the animation, but the environment is so exquisite, I don’t even care. I’ve never found such a great jungle tilest. Download this at once.
Disguise is good at making tilesets. In the Nature’s Ruin’s (I think this is the best one) the eyecandy is good, it’s a useful tileset. There are too many options (like temple, cave, treetops…) the statue of Jazz was very interesting also. So, I liked the set!:)
Super!I very very like this tileset
Cool tileset! Must have it. DL NOW
I think it’s your best tileset very good eyecandy and easy to use, You can make from that very good in look level! Download recommendation? Fo’sure!
The decorations available for the ground are masterful and it’s good that there are two types of ground. That’s about it; the perspective on slopes is Picasso levels of messed up, the trees look like a bunch of flat Play-Doh pieces, and the background ones look like they were drawn by somebody who only knows trees from tales.
DOWNLOAD THIS NOW!
Ok for the reveiw:
This tileset is disguises best so far and is also 100 times easier then agama’s sets the eyecnady is more then usualy (and higher quality then usual) and it has ALL the tiles, it also has many different areas to walk on (stones to grass to mud) the masking is perfect the ease of use is perfect, i could do with a bit more animation eyecandy though :P It isn’t as good as agama’s in the jcs but in the actual game it looks stunning and to me is an agama beater.
DOANLOAD THIS NOW!
EDIT: oh and what do you like cracco and black energy? pokemon tilesets?[This review has been edited by Krezack]
This tileset is confusing to me. Get a nice place in the level where this is a tree, and look into the background. Look at the textures of the trees in the background compaired to the trees in the foreground. It doesn’t really matter that much, but I find that the trees in the background look more real, than the ones in the foreground. It doesn’t really matter that much, but I prefure the forground to look more real than the background, those leaves in the forground look abit too, I don’t know, in straigh lines. It just looks abit strange, maybe they are Weeping Willow Trees or somthing. But they look odd. The huge statue of Jazz is cool, like the rabbits were once the ruler of this temple, and the rest of this tileset is wicked, I love the use of layer 3, with the rocks on the ground, just like in the jungle :), I think that this is one of the best tilesets Disguise has ever made, oh wait, 2nd best, I love the Spacey one better, but thats just because I’m an alien :)
Anyway, I give this tileset and 8.5 for these reasons
10 – masking
8 – eye candy ( about things being real or not
7- animation ( only the arrows )
9- accessories
lets see, (10+8+7+9)/4= 8.5
I here by rate this tileset with an 8.5
Well, I like this. It has some tiles I couldn’t find, though.
Anyway, I’m undecided on a rating for this. I’ll probably come back and rate it… some other time.
Well I guess I shouldnt rate this cause I helped a little with it.
Great tileset.
I like contributing to tilesets and I would like to do it in the future.
Another nice tileset by Disguise. I’ve got a few complaints about this one, but nevermind. I’d like to tell you, that you’ve made better tilesets Disguise, I especially liked that Allien tileset you made, I forgot the exact name. I hope you’ll start making tilesets again the way you used to. Good, useful and original.

EYECANDY
The eyecandy is……super!
10/10
MASK
A couple of minor mask errors, but it is still good generally anyway.
8/10
DESIGN
The design is incredible, there is eyecandy on practically every tile.
10/10
DIFFICULTY
Despite being an amazing set, it’s not very user-friendy.
7/10
TOTAL
