Trash Day README

PT32

10/4/11

Well, it was trash day for me and ol' Sharpie (My computer--don't ask me
why I gave it that name), so I took a peek at the old, dusty archives where
my earliest attempts at levels were stored.

You wouldn't believe what I found, even though I'm about to tell you.

I uncovered ten of the very first levels I EVER made with the JCS. These
date all the long way back to July of 2005, when I first purchased the full
Jazz Jackrabbit game, after playing the Shareware demo since about when the
game came out.

Phew!

And so, in keeping with the motif of veteran levelmakers who publish Stone
Age works of theirs, I decided to give J2O a look at how my earliest
efforts with the JCS started.

This pack ain't pretty. I'll say that much right now.

I'd be shocked if Trash Day gets higher than a 5 or a 6, to be perfectly
honest. It's worth is, of course, up to you, but I looked them over and
they clearly reminded me how far I've come since then. If I get Upload of
the Month for this, then I've either cheated someone else out of it, or it
was a weak month.

So hack away. Point out the flickering Buttstomp tiles. Observe how small,
cliqued and cookie-cutter-like the levels are. Giggle at the elaborate
gimmicks, mock the maddening simplicity and roar with laughter at the
rookie errors. I already have.

Now, if you'll excuse me, it's trash day...
