Readme for Survival Instinct: ------------------------------------ Table of Contents: 1. Brief explanation 2. Contents of .zip 3. How to play 4. Server instructions 5. Credits etc ------------------------------------ 1. Brief explanation: Survival Instinct is a LRS related thing, as in if you survive you get a better rank. It's server started (and configured), sadly, not completely automated, so if you (if you're the host) are idle, make sure there's someone else who can take over the controllling for you. ------------------------------------ 2. Contents of .zip: Corrupted Sanctuary.j2t, Heaven.j2t, and Jazz1medivo.j2t: The tilesets. Depeche.s3m: One of the music files (I think the other two come with JJ2) Lrepeats to lrepeats3.j2l: The levels. ------------------------------------ 3. How to play: Once out of the sucker tube at the start, wait for the game to begin, and be generally helpful. (E.G. answer what the host asks you) Once the floor opens up, your main goal is to stay alive and make sure the others don't. The more times you die, the lower your rank is. Each time you die, you go to the next room in the series (all the rooms are the same arena, except they're numbered differently.. you can find the room number laying around somewhere), unless you died in Room 9, in which case you've just lost. Room 1 is the best, Room 9 is the worst (not counting just losing). ------------------------------------ 4. Server instructions: Once out of the sucker tube at the start, jump into the left wall. You will find yourself in a layer 3 area. Shoot the entrance until you hear the noise it makes when a destruct scenery has been destroyed (make sure you're all the way in first), then jump up. You will see three crates. The one on the left starts the game, the middle one makes it so people who join after it is hit are sent to a latecomers area (so if you're first, say, nobody can usurp your position, and the third one imposes a time limit of about six minutes at the game. If you have Controller, you might want to set the gametype to Treasure when the time limit runs out. (You can have whatever rules you like regarding the time limit) ------------------------------------ 5. Credits etc: Concept based off of: LRS. (by someone) Concept by: Violet CLM. Levels by: Violet CLM. Music by: No idea. Tilesets by: >CelL<, Agama and Disguise. Special thanks to: Whoever understood my explaining how to play. Suggestions by: EvilMike and possibly someone else I'm forgetting because my brain is bad. ------------------------------------ And if you want to make anything like this, I'm not stopping you.
