Hello, friends... This final song for the scene is my way of saying goodbye. Who knows, I might return with more tunes as Basehead did, but with so much work to do for terrific games and other projects I will be unable to participate in much for awhile. The trax scene has been my life since the summer of 1994 when I first heard "Inside Out" by Purple Motion. Since then I have worked hard on hundreds of songs, only a few dozen of which have been released, but I feel I have grown tremendously as a musician because of it. No amount of thanks are enough for the scene. In particular the people who have offered helpful criticism and wise words along the way, the most notable being listed here: Necros of FM, a good friend and still my favorite musician so far. Basehead of FM, who I've endured through thick and thin with. :) Sirrus, a great tracker whose work and mine will appear on an upcoming CD to be published this summer. Mellow-D and Zodiak, my two coolest friends in Europe. K8to, who got me into the scene in the first place and without whose knowledge and help I wouldn't have known half as much as I do about it. We went from Amiga MED MODs in high school to this. A long way. :) Maelcum and the other members of Kosmic, who took me in and gave me the chance to do a soundtrack for their NAID 96 demo. There are many more, too many to list, but they deserve just as much recognition, so you know who you are. Well, kudos to all the great sceners out there, and the trackers who take the time to write the best music they can. I have great hope for you all. -Siren Alexander Brandon May 20th, 1996 P.S.: I'm moving to North Carolina on or around June 15th, so if you need to reach me email my old account before then. I'll ul my new email to CDROM.COM afterwards. +---+----------------------------+ |###| Sample Name | +---+----------------------------+ |001| Siren Presents___________ | |002| | |003| A Kosmic Free Music | |004| Foundation Production____ | |005| _________________________ | |006| | |007| F A R E W E L L | |008| _________________________ | |009| | |010| Press Shift-F9 in | |011| Impulse Tracker. | |012| | |013| _________________________ | |014| | |015| "Farewell" | |016| | |017| tracked and produced by | |018| Alexander Brandon | |019| | |020| Instruments: | |021| | |022| Drums, some bass and some | |023| guitars from necros | |024| | |025| Accoustic and distorted | |026| guitars, organs, and | |027| pick bass from Korg | |028| Trinity. | |029| ___________Length: 3:40__ | |030| | |031| Email: plug@interserv.com | |032| before June 15th. | |033| _________________________ | |034| | |035| | |036| | |037| | |038| | |039| | |040| | |041| | |042| | |043| | |044| | |045| | |046| | |047| | |048| | |049| | |050| | |051| | |052| | |053| | |054| | |055| | |056| | |057| | |058| | |059| | |060| | |061| | |062| | |063| | |064| | |065| | |066| | |067| | |068| | |069| | |070| | |071| | |072| | |073| | |074| | |075| | |076| | |077| | |078| | |079| | |080| | |081| | |082| | |083| | |084| | |085| | |086| | |087| | |088| | |089| | |090| | |091| | |092| | |093| | |094| | |095| | |096| | |097| | |098| Look for the hidden tune. | |099| =) Siren '96 | +---+----------------------------+
