Forest War | DanYjel | Battle | 8.2 |
Forest War (Battle1 Remake) Made by DanYjel as entry to FireSworD's Remake Contest. Tileset (Forest) by Blade. Music (SONG0EPZ) by ElectroPiZZa Original level by CliffyB ------------------------------------ Now, why level looks how looks. Firstly, it's impossible to camp on the seekers PU now. It's because of that people can shoot camper easily by RFs from bottom. Here was next problem. I wanted to add one more power-up, I was deciding between extremely powerful RFs and flame. Flame won, mainly because problem of camping under the seekers. People could just wait and shoot up with their -2h weapon. To prevent camping on the seeks, unpowered RFs are enough. To prevent camping under seeks, unpowered RFs are cool. Second thing why I didn't use 3way up was that all flame ammo in the level was to nothing. (Like pepper, actually, which has only eyecandy role here.) Also, the level is not so one-way now. There is not only two warps how to get up now, everything is accessible from more ways. Question why four ways up and two down should be answered that people will need to go up more, and also the carrots and PUs are not near to each other. In true, the level sucks ;), but I am glad with it as with my 4th completed level ever. But... I tried... Really ;) The main point is of course not to win, I know I have no chances next to berpersons like BlurredD or Blacky (even I really didn't mind if I bet them =D =D =D). Thing what I really want is... Replacing the Damn Battle1!!! (Yeah. This level should be played mainly in 4 and more players (although it is possible to play long duels there (such as in Battle1).).) If I added the Teambattle mod, I haven't forgotten to do it, people =D. ------------------------------------ Very Special Thanks go to: --| Lark --| R3ptile --| White Rabbit Other important thanks deserve: --| Quickz --| Ajazz RAD (for being so lordish) --| BadBunny --| Cooba --| Blackraptor
