Ha ha ha ha ha ha! “Thank you to playing me level.” You´re welcome! I like winter. They are winter today. If you like CARROTTUS tile set prewive ne level-pack named “welcome to garden.” I like end boss and frog hazard. I will give you 9!
p.s. You missed 1 point for no leyers in forgrounds and backrounds. Only backroound leyer 3, 4 and forground leyer 1.
Wow!,
this is a kinda proffesional level (i think). It has fun playfeeling, and the puzzels rule!, some are like the ones in Tomb Rabbit. A must have level, maybe single player-level builders will learn something from it :p
I think this is a good level. Everything thing in it is nice, though the eye-candy seems to be a little random and unorganized. It’s like a 7.7, but I’m making the rating a tad bit higher since no one really uses this tileset.[This review has been edited by BlurredD]
I guess this will be my final review for 2001, :), let’s get going!
The level was pretty good. It uses the Carrotus tileset (very overused!), but heck with that ;). The layout was good. The fun was spread over the whole area, it’s not that you suddenly enter a huge open space, everywhere you go there is something to solve or fight. The author did not use any background layers (or, if he did, I could not locate them). However, the great amount of (great) puzzles made up for that -Puzzles were excellent. The paths are lineair at times, but it is always filled with carrots, flowers etc. etc. In the whole level, I could only find one bug – there is a plant growin out of nowhere. I think the author is on his/her way to become a JCS pro, post more of your stuff! A 7.7. next time, use more layers, add a nicer music and I think you will be on your way to…err…victory! :)
To be honest, it’s a lot better than I thought it would be. It has decent eye-candy and it’s easy to play in, but I did see some problems.
The level may be a little too small, it uses swinging vines which won’t work in multi-player, the exit isn’t marked, and I’m not too sure about using food in Treasure levels. Other than that, it’s a good level and you should download it anyway.
You can´t say where I found. If tile set is no in jazz jackabbit2 download it tile saet too.
Awesome levels… Just perfect… What more is there to say?
These levels are great! Though I have one suggestion. If you decide to come out with a (3rd and final) battle set, include your other ones (Woodlands and Forest) all in one. It just gets fairly annoying having to download everything seperate.

Nice Tileset and Music. Not so great level with a strange boss. I still don’t understand how people get using those rocket turtles…
Okay. I don’t review much at all, only if they’re extremely good levels. This one I would’ve gave a 10 because of how many levels, the eyecandy, the challenge, and so forth, except for the fact that some of the later levels in the single player mode got rather bland and repetitive. Also I suggest you should try to get a patch that puts these levels as a episode thing, (yah know like the things you select between like Jazz in Time and so forth) it would make it seem so much better! But overall these are great!
I don´t need select eye candies. I like old leyers. If you don´t like you don´t like game. U no understand, old eye candies are cool!
What Splash said.
It is nice to see that people are creating Race levels again, we didn’t see much of them…However, this level is absolutely horrible. The goal of a race game is to quickly race to the end, yes, but I think the author took the word “fast” too literally. There are absolutely no obstacles, all there is is an ugly line of craps, some lines of ice (which you can use to freeze your opponents – pretty useless actually, you are all swimming with equal speed, so the one that starts in the front will always win). One lap will take you like 12 or 13 seconds. Bjarni Cool, I strongly suggest you use the original jazz levels as examples, so you can see how to create beautiful levels. And about that 7, you ain’t getting it. This level is not even worth a 2 (probably, It didn’t even took you 2 minutes).
This is the only Muckamok tileset that is 100% nice. No bad masks, no bad colors, nothing bad at all. A very good conversion, deserves an 8!
Sorry, but the music files aren’t in Jazz Ski Rabbit, when I make Jazz Ski Rabbit2, with all new levels, and story line, I’ll include them, but for now, the midi’s are separate :(
Its not like jj2, where u just put the music file in the same folder, and it will play in the levels :( ( I wish it was)[This review has been edited by ET]
To what Splash said: I agree, but in much nicer way. I’ve done that b4.
Now. To Bjarni. Don’t just give 10s, either just to make up for 1s. Give what you think is nessesary. If you did, fine. It just seems odd you’re gving out a 10 after so many ones.
Not a bad battle level, but I have seen better lately. I seem to navigate it pretty smoothly (with Jazz and Spaz). Strangely, the design sorta resembles that of battle 1, a level I don’t really like that much, but other ppl i know do ;)
Another ting for those tileset junkies out there, the level uses the ‘drop dead gorgeous’ Egypt tileset by Agama, some amazing stuff ;)
Don’t send any more levels for about a week or so. You still need to work on your levels more.
