Well well a level made with the hard-to-use tileset of agama called swamps of the sleeping jaguar. let’s see
I really liked the level to be honest a job wel done i must say.
eyecandy looks ok weapondeplacement is fine but like always I have some points of criticism.
At first I think the pool near 1 of the start positions with the flipper in it is a bit pointless.
I also think you shouldnt have had to include the coin thing to get to the seekerupgrade you should ve just put it in the level somewhere or dont put it in the level at all
I also think you should ve chosen another musicfile than this one. One that isnt so happy :P
well to make a long story short
The level gameplay is good
Weapondeployment is good too
the only thing i really hate are the coins
good job youll get an straight 8 from me
download it to see for yourself[This review has been edited by F!re]
I think I will have to congratulate you 2 with (one of) the first levels that use Agama’s latest! claps.
The levels have a big amount of detail. Just huge! If you are looking for eyecandy, this is your download ;)
However, the gameplay was, due to the huge amount of detail, pretty awful. You cannot actually see where you are going in some places, making it hard to evade or attack. Also, alot of jumping in this level.
Weapon placement was pretty ok, although I kinda dislike this type of ammo spreading (like Blade – mixing sorts of ammo, so you constantly have to keep pressing the ammo keys to switch back…), don’t think I can really take off points for that.
Overall, this is a good pack. Do not take if because of the gameplay, take it because of the detail, and the fun. A 8!

A tileset about a forest ruin. It doesn’t have the real “Jazzy” feel like Agama’s Nature tileset has, instead, Disguise (again) manages to give his own feel to the set: 3D-ish style! Wow, Well done and Weefun! The whole set looks very, very nice. Trees, statues, rocks, everything looks just right. Well…dunno what to add to the review anymore, I think everything is said, so I suggest everyone who has not yet downloaded this should do so immediately. I would also suggest people to start mixing Disguise’s and Agama’s latest, plus a bit of the original Jungle, to create some wowy Jungle-packs! A solid 9.2!
edit: Barney will lose. He is outnumbered ;)

First off, I love Commander Keen. It is the best computer game(s) ever made (yes, it’s a little higher even than Jazz).
Second, I believe in rating submissions based upon what they are trying to acomplish, not how much work they took. This is simply an attempt to create a Keen tileset (something for which there is demand) and to do it by using Keen’s original graphics (also in demand).
Thus, I must rate it favorably, because you have managed to do just that.
However, I cannot rate it too favorably…
I don’t understand why this would be difficult to mask. Right now, everything is masked solid. This should make it almost impossible to use most of the tiles…or at the least, very difficult.
Frankly, I can already see how most of this could (and should) be masked…
So here’s what I’m going to do. I’ll give you a 7 just for being able to put all this together in a nice fashion, but I’ll think of it as a work-in-progress (if not yours, then I expect someone else will take it from here. Heck, I’ll do it myself if someone can get rip the graphics from this).
Anyways, this is a step in the right direction.
BTW, if you manage to get Keen 4-6 and Dreams, I’d be tempted to give you a 10. Dreams is my favorite :)

Whew, another totaly 133t tileset by Disguise. The tileset’s theme is obviously a ancient abandoned temple, deep down in grassy noman’s land. The theme id well used, themed tilesets are good. The tileset features Disguise’s totaly awesome drawing style, as we know it from ‘Spacey Universe’. The tileset has some realy nice stuff in it, like well drawn trees, grass, with litle rocks in them, some grass to put on layer 3, like in Disguise’s “Africa” tileset. Ground comes in two diferent types, grassy and bare, sandish. It also has, for use in traps in singleplayer levels, litle arrows, probably shot at you by the local natives;). Also included are a few bloody looking spikes. Vines where included too. The temple part is also pretty cool. Nic elooking 3D ground, a few nice pillars, and a big statue of Jazz. Download this 133t litle tileset now.
Great tileset.
My only dislike is the nature ground+grass, it’s still kind of weird and has too much straight lines. Nature is curved ;p

Well the legend is back with a new tileset:P
What do I have to say everything looks great as usual
only some tiles dont perfectly match with the rest
and another thing
is this supposed to be a swamp Ive never seen any jaguars there before:P it looks more like a jungle than a swamp
and whats with the colourchanging when you play (it has it to with your earlier tilesets but this time everything looks different)
I really think this is a great tileset dont misunderstand me blabla etc
sorry not in the mood of yappin now :P[This review has been edited by F!re]
One word, PERFECT!
Looks really coolnezzy, and…
Congratz…
YOU’VE BEATEN Agama! ;)
There comes also a cool example
level. As I wondered over, I saw it’s battle. Great idea.
Well, good job Wacky Spaz, you’re definately going to be a good levelbuilder after some more levels. IMO WS Battle 4 is the worst, WS Battle 5 the best. About the tilesets? Well they’re small, but the tiles inside are used well, and I know that you tried. These levels aren’t good as inviduals, but can be a pretty funny levelpack.
I’ll give you a 7.7. By the way, you need some good music for these levels.
I like it.
It looks kinda flat and sparce when you look at it in JCS, but don’t let that fool you. When you put the elements all together, you get a spiffy, artistic looking level.
Nice work Disguise.

(now if only you’d release Just Another World with a blue sky instead of that weird green one, I’d love you forever…or maybe I’d buy you a pizza…)
Shadow showed gave me a url of a screenshot of this over icq and I was amazed! Krezack reminded me about it so I downloaded it and tested it and I have only one question, how the heck are you able to make things like these?
Yes, this is used in JJ1. Not sure where, but probably in a secret level. The Deserto one, I should say.
[EDIT: No, I meant the Deserto secret level.][This review has been edited by Unknown Rabbit]
This isn’t that bonus song… Download it and listen. I’ve looked all over, havn’t seen it around yet…
Well I guess I shouldnt rate this cause I helped a little with it.
Great tileset.
I like contributing to tilesets and I would like to do it in the future.
