Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

Well, when I first looked at the tilesets I was shocked. But then I realized that these tilesets shouldn’t be used to make a level. It should be used to combine these tilesets and other tilesets to create a mega level. good idea, although like Veggie said, the tilesets are way 2 small. Another thing is that the tilesets wouldn’t really fit levels sometimes, with their outer eyecandy filled in. Try to add more next time Violet!

I really dont like the moving buildings.
They are boring and confusing.
Also, when you go into the coin warp, you get the following:
-Pepperspray powerup (Completly useless, I thnik it should have been switched with seeker powerup)
-Tons of FastFires (Waste of space, there are already too many FastFires in the level)
-Full health and invincibility carrots (Making it the perfect place to camp (Not Good!))

The layout and design is ok, except for the problems mentioned above.
Oh and you need faster music, it is battle, not single player!

Good eyecandy.. etc. music you name it.

Where is the ammo? I would’ve given this a 7.0 had you placed more ammo within the level.

pretty cool, a little hard but still cool.

A 6 is what you want and a 6.2 is what you shall get. It’s good that you made a tilset. I dunno it really hurt my eyes a lot and was kinda I dunno… weird. When I rate tileset I rate them on the base if I will ever use them and I can’t say that I will use this tileset but that doesn’t mean other won’t as well. The B&W version I like. Not too hard on my eyes, but I dunno if I would ever make a level with it.

To sum it up. The tileset is too small. There could be a lot more. There isn’t too much to work with and the colour version hurts my eyes.

Good level it look nice etc. I could’ve seen some more eyecandy though. I remember the first time I saw this tileset used. It used by Nemsis AD. That was years ago. He did an excellent job with the use of the tileset but the level wasn’t all that great. If you ever find his level you could learn a lot from the way he used the tileset. I think I may have it.. anyways…
Here is why your level got my 6.5.. I couldn’t get certain things because I was Jazz. I really really really hate that. I couldn’t get the one thing I love! The seeker power up. There is one way to get if your Jazz. But that means getting 50 coins and flying across the level to get to it. If your Spaz all you need to do is double jump and it’s all yours

The music works nicely with the level.

I dunno about you ppl, but I live in a big city, with 3 million ppl. The buildings NEVER move around for fun on there own. I found that annoying. Also I couldn’t make some jumps because I was Jazz and not Spaz. I hate that.
The music was ok, but I didn’t really get the feel that it went with the level. I’m sorry I’m hard on this level but those buidling moving around really bug me ;)

This is quite an good CTF lvl, it’s got ehm…great gameplay, OK weapons placement and there are some well hidden secrets too. The lvl has got few dead ends, nice placed springs and platforms and…blahblablah and whatever and so on… ;P The weapons placement is well organised and really helps improve the gameplay but the toaster powerup could be more well protected Cell. ;) The CTF base positions are also well considered (at least it looks like it’s well considered, but yer never know with Cell… ;-)and makes the lvl more fun to play in.

Unfortunately, I really think that BIG gap in ths sky is very un-neccessary and it’s kinda boring falling all the time. There are also some bugs too, for example: you can go through some walls, and you can’t in some other. But since all the walls look the same, you won’t know wether you can go through them or not and may be running right into an dead end. Fix that Cell… To lower the points even more, the eyecandy is just not enough to satisfy me and because the lvl lacks eyecandy, it looks really plain and boring but then the tileset isn’t very good either. You should try using Mountain Hill Zone instead Cell, it’s much more better. Oh! And not to forget the whole lvl isn’t even masked properly which surprises me very much because of the fact that this lvl came from the normally very good lvl maker Cell.

Well, anyway, this CTF lvl gets an 6.7 from me and is still worth downloading despite the fact that it has some bugs in it and lacks eyecandy. Although it’s not a must, I still recommend you downloading Green landscapes CTF if yer tired of the old official CTF lvls.

Well, there are some masking problems, but this is a battle level, not a tileset.

The battle level is well done, with some nice ideas, (two planets!) but isn’t quite as good as Magoo’s….. what was it called, anyway? :P

I like this level. It uses some nifty layering tricks, a weird tube (I think I know how he did that…. do I?) and some other stuffness. However, there is a slight lack of ammo.
