Awesome tilest by ET. What do you want me to say more?
The tileset has a variety of objects, such as metal plates, planet surfaces, obstacles, blocks, text…the whole ringading. By looking at the example levels, you can see what can be done with it (and I bet you can do even more!). Actually, no further comment, apart from the set being a bit “dirted” (ok, nobody is going to understand this), but I guess planets need to be that ;). Everyone should check this out. It’s going to become a fav!
Good Stuff! A realistic version of the amazon tileset. Nuff said, get this.
i never played it cuz i dont know the password!!!!!!!!!but what i heard of it its great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!could someone please tell me the password!!??for ratings what is n/a?
(Rating removal. N/A is for reviews such as this. I will make no attempt, however, to equal the increadible amount of punctuation used in this review. -Trafton)[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
mwa… i mean, you can’t do very much in the lvl…
The tileset rules ET!!
I played his conversion of battle1 with him, and he told me the story of the level. And again-it rulez!!
I was suppost to include that Planet1v2 ctf had a password on the level because it took me a while to make it and I didn’t want people removing my name and such. There are some evil rabbits out there, EVIL, EVIL!!!! :) Anyway, I’ll let you crack the password by giving you some clues, white rabbit :)
1- Its a 5 letter word
2- It has no numbers
3- Starts with an ‘a’
4- Its in little letters
5- Its what I am :)
Enjoy cracking the Password :)

I’m an Austr’alien’ ;)
ps: I didn’t rip those warp animation tiles, I used the air brush in PsP7, thats why it doesn’t look that good if you set the animation speed over 20, you can see a funny shape, not a proper circle :( Plus my warps are thicker that Mez’s

yea ElectroPiZZa we noticed that too (Coolman and me). Very strange.
And yes, that’s right, one team attacks the aircraft, the other team defends the aircraft, and more important, the triggers and the engine.[This review has been edited by CraccoBoy]
Good Level.
You should have kept FC open!
Not bad, though i’m not impressed with the tilesets graphics (yes i’m very strict on tileset graphics) i really liked it i thought the “Venus Flytraps” and the “Pitcher Plants” were cool.
I think it looks just like the Amazon. Good job!
yea man, even if the old SS is history its still messed up. change the name man.
This is my first assault review, so lemme get this straight: One team attacks, and the other defends? Cewl.
I like this level, but it’s still an average. All right, slightly above.

This probably has a plot of some sort, but the level is awful.
Fun. Now that I actually see this tileset used in a level, I can see (quite a few, really) masking bugs, and color non constants, but this isn’t a Tileset upload.
This level is a good sized battle map, with loads and loads of ammo. (A little too much, in my opinion) Also, as you’ve pointed out so kindly to me, DO NOT USE FOOD IN BATTLE LEVELS. :P It won’t stop me, but you could try taking your own advice.
There is a decent amount of powerups, all available using the Electro Blaster (Gun9) or the secret ways >CelL< included for most, or all of them.
Just download it.
???
Was it so bad?
4.5 is very low.
That assault was not so good after all with your ratings!
You didn’t need coins for the weapon fall. You need coins for the seeker powerup!
Look at the level good before you rate please.
“Leader Myst SS”
This level has either improved over the last release quite a bit, or I remember the last release wrong.
The amount of ammo has increased to a quite good amount, making there not be an overflow of ammo, but no lack either, the design seems better, (or maybe I looked wrong before) and the tubes are following with a good suggestion.
Still, there is no eyecandy other then layer 4, and Mountain Pass has a wrong next level setting. Very bad for battle servers, and considering the night version leads to it, I would advise modifying before hosting. (Never mind, levels are passworded)
Rating becomes a 5.5, the true average. (It’s true, 5 is closer to 1 then to 10)
I came, I saw, I gave another bad rating…
My comments this time:
Author says: time spent on lvl is 2 or 3 hours. And yeah, we can surely see THAT!(no offence)
First of all, the level is small. Well, not really small, but the lack of platforms in some area, and too much platforms in another area make this a confusing and boring level. Also, you need coins to get to the weapon fall again, however, the author has put in multiple power-ups, which make the coin warp useless. The foreground layer is, to say it short: Irritating with the big I from “Insane”. And last: Too much horizontal platforms. And if they are not horizontal, they are completely piramid-made! You should spend more time on your level (make it 2 or 3 days, continiously), improve the battle-elements like multiple ways, sneaky paths and fast gameplay.
Music was ok, didn’t really fit IMO, but wasn’t that bad.
(edit: Ok, I made a mistake about the warps, but it isn’t going to influence my rating anyway…)

Hmmm…
I didn’t see many Assault but this is one of the baddest I saw (I saw 3 Assault or something like that).
Sorry but you gonna have this 6.5 :-(
“Leader Myst SS”
An assault level located in an airspeed airplane. Yup, people, it’s time to bring the big bird down…
Although it represents a plane, and it has the form of a plane, it didn’t really feel like a real plane, but away with that :)
It’s the red team’s job to break a couple of crates, run past some obstacles and, finally, to destroy the engine and make the plane crash…ok, I know, people from the USA might have a certain weakness for planes right now…
Meanwhile, team blue has to defend the plane at all cost, by using various warps to get trough the plane.
The idea is very good, however: the crates are very easy to find, also, the level contains an airboard part which looks to much like one of those (horrible) test levels…the one that warp you away when you touch a certain block….the same here, except there is wind now :) Assault isn’t supposed to be made hard by adding such “tests”, it should be made hard by putting in team plans and team work. Too bad, the creatot missed that part.
Nontheless, this is a pretty good level to check out, all you assault-freaks, as this level is still fun to play.
people that are not used to assault yet could use this level as a quick taste of the real job.
edit: forgot to say, the music doesn’t fit the level (or any assault level) at all. try to find better music, not ’70s arcade :P[This review has been edited by SPLASHcc]
ehrm…let’s just call that “reviewers n00biness”…on to the real deal.
Seeing as this level hasn’t improved that much from the original, only some extra springs and stuff (Still not good, too basic, and too much stuff empty. Also, the small, almost invisible, platforms just suck…)
I will stick my old review of this level:
Altough the Diamondus tileset being very basic, you can overdo it…and that is what the creator of this level did. The level is way too lineair, and the whole area seemed to be a one-way ticket. No gap’s ‘n paths, just one way…The eyecandy is very bad, you should improve it by adding more nature to the level, and more of that kind. Weapon placement was bad as well, it was just stuck on various places, like the creator didn’t care. I don’t think people have to download it, but maybe they want to after all, the so called freaks :P. Try again, better luck next time!
People, rate levels FAIR, do you really think it is neccesary to rate lvls like these 9.7 compared to great levels like Martin’s or the like? People like you make me sick…you ruin the fun of a community
