Nah, I’ll just find someone hosting it. Much simpler. :)
(Though just from seeing his other works, I’m tempted to rate this, but that WOULD be dishonest.)
It looks like Skulg`z made another nice tileset for us folk`z! Sunset in town is a very origenal tileset, although i do think itcould have had a few more tiles. D/L recomendation? Yes.

I (sorta) like the idea of this level. I`m not realy a fan of RPG like tilesets, but i must say this is not a bad level at all. Keep up the good work Crack-pot!:-D.

This is realy one of the best level packs out there. With CtF being a not that popular game mode, i`m pleased to see that there are stillsuch good CtF levels out there. Nothing more to ad to the other 1O reviews, cuz all the good things are pretty much taken:-).

Nift-o rific pack `ya got here Blade. These are some of the best battle levels i`ve ever seen on this site, or anywhere else! The design is almost perfect and its got smooth gameplay. There are a few dead ends, but thats not so bad. The music selection is great. Only almost every music file stops playing at one point, and then you dont hear no music at all until you die, or go to the next level, but i guess thats not your fault. Keep up the good work! The only thing that keeps you from geting a 10.0 is that it doesnt have as much feel as real clasic levels like SandStrand O’ Hazes by Spy for example. Yousee, when youm play levels like that, with the music and stuff, you can actuely feel some sort of something, and that..er…feeling is realy great. The levels that had that most where to me the Glacier levels, mainly because of the excelent music selection.

Well well..
Graphics: 7.2
Theyre alright, the background is nice and the tileset is O.K.
Music: 7
Not a real special music file…
Gameplay/Fun: 8
It’s actually nice to play in this level, a good place to battle.
Construction: 6,9
lthough it is a small size, the level is good constructed. Nearly any places to get stuck :)
Lets just say that without this, i would`nt be in the JJ1 conversion business:-P. Thanx for finding it Linkie-winkie:-D.
Nice litle tileset. It reminds me of the old tetris games. It got a good 3Dish cinda look. And the coments..I love them:-D. I`d say everyone go download this tileset right`away, especialy tetris fans:-D.

I like this level because it has a very good music, and the tileset is great because it is futuristic and fun!!!!I think this level is better than the newspaz’s level( newspaz’s level are very good) but it is bigger. it has a good construction too. And i won vs. Alberto and Cracco in this level
I like this level ! Very good Cracco!

Hmmm…. a nice conversio, but I just can’t seem to give higher than a 7… they’re just too easy to make. Now f you make an original one, THAT would be nce. anywa, good work on this one; try a custom soon.
A briliant new gameplay mode. Sadly, the level lacks in eyecandy.
Wrong-o! Check again!
I`ll say! Here, ladies `n gederbong, we have another great tileset and level release by Blade! The new tileset “Forest” is another awesome tileset release by Blade, one of the elite tileset and battle level builders of the Jazz 2 comunity. The tileset somehow reminds me of a world from a game i once had on an old PC(windows3.1) called Charley the duck. Seeing the levels just sealed the deal for me. They are another ad-on for the awesome Blades battle pack volume 2, wich now counts about 34 levels! (34`zm right ey?). My only complaint is that i dont realy like the added factory thingys in Wasteland. They look like giant paper bags with straws in them to me:-D. But apart from that, everyone go download this ad-on to Blades battle pack NOW!!
Fquist fixed it. It had something to do with 2 of my acounts that fused together or something…
I think so, yes. I dont think i left out more then about 10 tiles…
Well I could say this with one word but that would be a little lazy wouldn’t it , well on the other hand I am a bit lazy o well , oops I got drifted of back to my review than…
Well I can’t rate the old stuff because their are just to many levels/tilesets to rate but I tell you they are all great.
The Tileset set is great and beatiful as I expected =p , but this time it’s also huge. I especially love the mountanious background with the trees and stuff it just looks beautiful.
The bushes and well all the other stuff look really great.
The masking is also really well done, including the secret messages.
The tileset gives me like the more adult version of carrottus/diamandus.
The 4 battle levels are again amazing.
The leveldesign and gameplay are good and the event deplacement is also well deployed. The levels are once again great.
Well I have to say the music is really great, but I don’t think it fits with this tileset it would fit wih other ones though.Well of course this is my opionion, you’ll might like or love it like Aiko did.
Once again the pack is great and the upgraded version ( thats this one) is even better.
Should I download this you ask? well if you won’t download this I think you need to see a doctor or a brainsurgion or something.
and if a may add this:
this might me a good idea for a futuretileset BLADE. Make one of Asia with like mountains and japanese houses forest walls and stuff. And I would also make more stuff for the fore ground like in your Aztec tileset (look at my level ancient aztec)with those vines. Well of course this isn’t easy to make at all but you might be able to do it.
Hey, this is one of the few advertisement sets in Jazz2 history (right now, i can only remember all that Pokemon cr*p). The tileset is quite small (120 tiles) and simple, but nonetheless very effectful.
As the main theme is the Coca Cola ™ brand, it shows one of those unique bottles, a glass of coke, some logos (which aren’t of perfect image quality, btw) and a few very red platform stuctures. Not to forget standard items like signs, vines, poles and destructible scenery. A red Coca Cola wallpaper for layer 8 is also included. The masking of the tileset is okay (didn’t found major bugs in it at least), too.
Of course, mirrow included a nice little example battle level with very good design and ammo placement. There isn’t too much eyecandy, though.
Unfortunately the included “Orbitus” music (an old but classic ST3 tune :-) doesnt’t play in the level…not good.
The next level setting is also wrong.
To sum it up, i think that “Enjoy Coke”Oh, by the way, i don’t drink cola for like 1 1/2 years now…i heard it’s unhealthy (and does anyone remember “Can’t beat the feeling…”? That was my time :-).[This review has been edited by Aiko]
Breathless, thats what i am. Again. Every time again. Apart from the cheap rhyme, i really can’t say much about this because it’s always the same: Blade’s tilesets, levels and the music choices are close to complete perfectness. Everything fits too good to just write a few lines about it. You have to SEE, HEAR and PLAY it.
However, his new tileset called “Forest” doesn’t make an exception: its larger than ever (1010 tiles!!!) and looks incredibly beautiful. Mainly, it shows woody landscapes, trees, mountains, a red flower and so on. The set has all important elements of a high class tileset like signs, vines, spikes, destructible scenery and the whole look gives an impression of a wonderful oilpainting. The masking is, like always, very good (found the “secret” message? :-).
And once again, Blade shows us that he is also an elite level builder. “Firestorm Forest”, “Forbidden Land”, “Greelands” and “Fragile Nature” are the new levels that give us a clear impression of what you can do with the awesome “Forest” tileset. Design, weapon, spring and platform placement and eyecandy are of the same super high quality in all four levels and i really don’t find anything to complain here. Check out those maps if you want to learn something about level design.
The music track “Static Universe” by Mr. Stewe is quite dance/techno based but i think its still close to my beloved demo style…it just sounds tracked somehow (in short: i love it :-).
Well, as this is an “update” to Blade’s previous Battlepack, i can’t rate the other (old) levels (or as a whole pack with nine tilesets, 32 awesome battle levels and eight rocking music files)…if i would do that it’d probably be a 9.5 or something. Anyways, you know it already: —THiS iS A MUST DOWNLOAD FOR EVERY JAZZ2 FAN—. You have to love Blade’s style. He’s by far one of the most talented guys in this little “community”. Let’s virtually bow down to him by download and hosting his levels and tilesets!
