The start level in the labrat tileset is masterfully done. Triggers are used so, that you have to actually look at what your doing to make sure you don’t miss the next place to go. The second (bonus) level is not something im good at… I only got rf :(… The third is the updated version of the one I played before so it didn’t take me long to complete. I did not find very much difference, but that must be me…

The levels contain puzzles every now and then. Some are easy (or is that lucky:)) some are hard. It’s good to have puzzles in levels. Requires thinking.

Let me seeeeee. I am in a good mood. I’ll give this a 10.

Great level Mike. The eyecandy is perfect and layout is superb. The puzzles are good too, takes some ingenuity (Yay! RF Jumping) ;P and that rock puzzle was great too, took me a couple of minutes. Bonus level is fun too. Good stuff Mike :)

yes. I found secrets lurking around the corner. Some of the tests I took in Jazz2 over the internet help me navigate through many obsticles :D

Well done level design.

Though another bug when killing a certain boss. When you beat it, stay away from its location; otherwise, you’ll get -1 heart out of nowhere :)

The tileset doens’t really look much like a forest, so this doesn’t get as high of a score. The only problem I can find in it is that the masking on the tops of the trees is a bit compicated, and the same goes with the masking of some walls.

Everything is fine here, so I give it a 6.7. Not a bad score from me.

The review don’t deserve to be rated since it’s not made by Enigma.

However, I would like to say that some of the musics are not perfect. There are some pattern repeating problems.

Take Lagunicus.s3m for example. It’s totally rapping the instruments back and forth.

Hmmm… I’ll start with the most obvious problem, to my mind. While #4 leads to #1, #1 to #2, and #2 to #3, #3 leads to #1 instead of #4!
If you were hosting this, you’d have to host 4 to ever see it. Also, readme aside, I’ll bet you a dollar I could get stuck in everyone of of the levels.

Now then, to the good points.
The level names are interesting, the 4th level is rather cool (groan) and the music for it is very nice.
The design is good too, though maybe a few too many powerups.

Other then that, it seems to be some normal battle levels. Download recommendation? Your choice.

Horrible event placement (enemies, goodies etc.), a pretty simple design and non-existant eyecandy make this level go far below the average. The length is just average (not too short and easy if i’m honest).
“Fat Chicks Episode Preview level” uses the “Donut Plains” tileset by who-was-that-again and the awesome “Super Mario Land” chiptune by reflex of m0vement (good choices i have to admit).
Of course, there are some nice ideas and arrangements (crates, for example)throughout the level but my overall impression is that it’s still quite sloppy and indeed a bit unfinished. And i really don’t like “preview” or Beta releases of upcoming stuff (except from ShadowGPW :-)…better finish your levels and episodes before uploading them.
Four points should be okay here. Downloading this single player map is not recommended by me, though.

P.S.:
The next level setting is also wrong.[This review has been edited by Aiko]

Same procedure as every time: thanks for not putting an SP starting event. CTF players stink!! :-)
Errr…okay, back to my review:
The layout of “Flaming Flags” is pretty good, circular, good weapon and powerup placement and so on. The eyecandy is okay and the D.a.m.n tileset is underused anyways (good idea, F!re).
Nevertheless i found some small things i dislike: the spring constructions at the bases can get very annoying after a while, as well as the heavy metal music (“The Fat Price” by a guy called Salkin…just a bit overdone, F!re, don’t you think?), which really isn’t worth its 850 KB size.
Plus, what Fquist said about the readme file is very true.

Still, a very decent CTF map that should fit well for some online jump and run action…i recommend you to CLiCK THE DOWNLOAD button :-)

Well, i don’t have much to say or add here. “Rainy Hell” is a very decent CTF map, no more…no less. The design is okay (pretty fair routes and base placement i think, not to mention weapon placement) and there is some really nice eyecandy. I have nothing to complain, sorry :-)
The music “Guntech: Serakhoen” by Teque/DEE (never heard of him or her :-) also fits quite good.
Only the bad next level setting really annoys me (as well as the missing single player starting point

To put it short, “Rainy Hell” is a great addition to your CTF level collection and, apart from that, fun to play! DOWNLOAD NOW! (i was undecided between 6.5 and 7).

And… YAY! My first review since… a long time.

Cool proggie. The layout is not that kind of GREAT, but it works fine. As BlackDeath said, you can’t put in so much sentences, but I don’t use so much ‘standard’ sentences so it doesn’t matter. A Fat 7.0 for your hard work and effort :). Eat it.

Wow, a good (demo) level pack. As I’m not much good at reviews at a whole, I’ll look at the level 1 by 1.

Level 1: (Flying Ships.)
At first, I thought I was moving. The ships are well done, a mix between the Mega Battleships from JJ1 and some other good ideas.
The villains are well placed as well. When I finished this, I thought that Tazar must have run out of good ideas after it.

Level 2: (Labrynith Zone, or something)
I was wrong. This level is pretty cool, though not a labrynith. A labrynith is a maze, not a long path. :P
The warning on using 16 bit colors was a good idea, and I liked the look of the level.

Level 3: (Crystalopolis)
A great level. I always like slicers, (though I did not check if they work) and you did a good job with the tileset.
Although I got a little frustrated looking for the key, I like it.

Level 4: (Scrap Brain Zone)
Ooh la la! Wonderful! Not only is the tileset a good choice, but it rings coolness. (I wonder how you got that cat to work)
From the flame jets, to the spike balls, this is a good level. Nice trigger crate work, by the way.

Level 5: (Sky Sanctuary Zone)
You made this tileset? No wonder you did such a good job with it. The tractor beams (Or whatever they are) are cool.
I actually died here once! This doesn’t mean it’s too hard, but it’s harder then the rest. If the full version continues in this tradition, it will be amazing.

Overall: I think I’ll give this… 8.2. It’s not perfect, but it’s very good.
If I haven’t made this plain enough, I’ll just say it. A download recommendation! Yeah!

You can also flood the screen without it. And probably it doesn’t really take much more effort then using this program. Just do ta(enter)ta(enter)ta(enter)ta(enter)ta(enter)ta(enter)ta(enter)ta(enter)ta(enter)ta(enter)ta(enter)

Overall a good program. The layout looks kind of cramped, but for the rest it can be a usefull tool(especially for jdc officials. ;-))

It seems im the first to review this.

This is a great program if you have long sentences you type often.
It is the best (and only) of its kind out in here and it works with more than just jj2. You can send quotes over other programs too.

The drawback is the speed, the program seems to work fast some time and slow on the others.
The next drawback is the limited amount, but i assume thats because this is version 1.

Besides that its a great program that gets a d/l recommendation from me!

This one is also a good level, at all it’s not as hard as Mysterious Mechanism, but it’s hard.
The lighter event is good, at all it’s not with the water, maybe cause it can’t be mixed in JCS.

The triggers in the water place are funny, when the water was emptying I saw a fish that went with the water, but then the fish went up =P

Well, I think this is enough. =)
