Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

I know it’s hard to make a good tileset but hey! It’s what I think.
And you don’t have to go over the moon about it.

Good things:
good use of tilset
easy normal hard modes

Bad things:
NO MUSIC!!!or you didn’t include the file in the .zip file, already -1 point for that!
Far to many enemies i think you’ve only done that to make this lvl a little harder because else it would be rally easy.
bad pickups deployment

The level does not include the music file technoir.s3m, but i had one with another name so thats ok for me. Others might want to download the jj1 music (also on j2o).

The level has desent eyecandy and good enemy placement, although it seems a bit overdone on some ocasions. (like falling upon 4 turtles. There are about 7 different enemies in the level with the normal turtle as most-used.
I would recommend placing more flying enemies like floating lizards or sparks in this level.

The level lacks pickups of all sorts in most places, but there are several stashes of big pickups (like 4 filled gem boxes), I would advise you to spread the events more and increase the amount of ammo pickups throughout the start of the level. I myself dont always do it either, but putting weaponry in improves the gameplay.

Overall i would certainly recommend downloading a level such as this. A good 7.5 points from good ol’ me.

Only 3 rows of tiles, nothing to build with in this tileset, not worth a download because you can get it in a 2 second download just by joining Gargoyle’s Kysis’s server. The level is a worthless peace of crap (no offense) but people can host battle1 on treasure hunt mode or any other level.
But I’m going to raise the rating from 2.2 up to 3.2 just because it’s a nice idea and I might copy it.

Hmmm, “Trampolines” is a small tileset (only 30 tiles) showing some square blocks, diagonals, the sun, a cloud and a masked invisible block :-)
It also includes a nice little example level, supposedly treasure hunt mode. It used the classic “Industrius” music from Jazz 1.
Unfortunately, the level looks a bit unfinished and way too small. But well, maybe that’s appropiate for the tileset? (take that as a provocation :-). Oh and it could need some weapons (Yes: Treasure Hunt levels HAVE weapons!).
All in all, i really think the author tried his best this time and put some effort into this. Maybe it’s even worth a download :-)[This review has been edited by Aiko]

This level has already been posted on J2O. It was in the “Pidgeotto’ Pack III Version 2.0” by Mr. JJ Tublear.
Therefore i will only quote:

Unfortunately, the next level setting still leads to the race level that was also included in that old (and overall better) pack. I also lowered my rating compared to the two-level pack.

P.S.:
Don’t name your zip files “pack.zip”. Will cause trouble sooner or later.[This review has been edited by Aiko]

only it could be a little bit bigger
and a little to much amm o at some places.

It’s a good first self made tileset (my first really sucked).
