Looks like you need to brush up on your JCS Skills. Try an easy tutorial. That will help!
@Artem ruining it with a 10? well I was probably
thrilled by this lvl .
Even I can’t recommend to download lets see what we
have here.
Game-play
One of the worse things in this level is the gameplay.
I don’t know why there are much enemies placed here,
the gameplay is only 1 minute because it is so small.
Eyecandy and Other things.
More worse randomly placed tiles there was only some type
of layer usage like the foreground eyecandy plant many
bugs in the ground, tiles don’t fit together.there was too
little to no eyecandy.Somehow the level is pretty small
to be even SP just run jump etc. then the level finishes and
boom the game crashes I’m probably mistaken by seeing the screenshot layer 8 was ok some tiles just don’t fit and were random.
**DR?:**No well probably I guess this is one of the better levels you made but I guess try to improve it from the following websites:
http://www.jazz2online.com/jcsref/
www.ninjadodo.net/htjcs/
These are the websites where I have learnt making all of my levels.
Keep practicing and try to make a BIG SP level that surprises everybody :).
EDIT:Zerg I said that it is pretty small
to be even SP so he must make a tad bit
bigger level so if he can get a 5 then he might make a BIG SP level too.
This is Similar to the Example level used in my tutorial. But very advanced.
I’ll admit I haven’t played very many single player campaign packs, but this one was by far the best I have played.
The graphics were flawless, as far as I could tell. I never got bored of the scenery, nor did I see anything that looked particularly out of place (unless it was something that had changed to direct level flow, in which case it was always understandable.)
The difficulty was really fun. I think I played it on easy, haha, but it still provided a good challenge, though not so much that I wanted to quit. I got stuck and confused at one point, but I think the answer was actually obvious and I should have figured it out so I wouldn’t say that’s a flaw.
I DID cheat once; I turned on fly and followed the rocket turtle at the end to see exactly what he did because I was confused as to how to beat him—somehow, the first several times I played the level I never saw him again after the beginning. After I found out where he was going, though, I beat him fair and square.
ALSO, the music was rad. A few of the tracks sounded a lot like legit Alexander Brandon pieces, though ones I hadn’t heard before (there was one Unreal Tournament track as well, I believe. Haha.)
I’m glad to hear Mike is doing a revamp of the series, as I can imagine a few spots he might polish up and a few enemy/flow related quirks he might refine. All in all, I can’t think of anything really negative to say though. :)
10/10
Its my favorite DOM lvl ever! GJ looney .

tileset???
[Please don’t rate levels if you can’t play them. Original rating 1.0 ~cooba]
too much easyness for such level.
I say, that this should get better rating than 5.6.
Yes, It was quite easy,(Boss killed with 2 hp)
But it was fun :), the eyecandy is not bad or good, the name is horrible… I think you could hide the space monkeys, and you could use more enemies.
Sorry Uhm well when I open the tutorial i get a virus
I don’t know what about to do about my AVG even i tried
this on my avira well same thing as possible
After All, Others can make an easy level. I hope they will like it.
Hope you like the updated version. Please disable your anti-virus applications before watching this tutorial.
EDIT: Well, this lacks a lot of other basic info needed…what about flipping tiles? Textstrings? How to make a good level? How to copy event tiles? How to copy events the quick way? How to animate tiles? Despite I know these, there are still a lot of other basics missing. I only mentioned a few, as there are much more basic essential things to knowing JCS too.
The idea is good. The tutorial is bad.
There are a lot of tilebugs / one of the most generic layouts i’ve seen. Eyecandy based you shouldn’t have picked such a hard-to-use set if you can’t work with it properly. I came across this because it was set in the tournament. But stop the ego and let’s face this level is not even near as good as the rest of the tournament levels, no offense
Stereo Speakers only!
This does not work with headphones.
Well i probably like the flow of the level it also has a good
tileset chosen which is WTFAcrid it shows a good usage of
the tileset though let me see more things to do it with it
1.Eye-candy
Eyecandy looks neat on pretty much areas there is the
acid fall which is placed nice I like most flow of the eyecandy there are pretty much eyecandy bugs though
overall-8.0
2.Tileset-use
Tileset use is ok most of the areas are buggy but i did’t find much bugs.
overall-7.0
3.Layer-usage
Well most of the layers are done correctly i like the acid thing in layer 2 nothing to say about layer 3 layer 5 has some buildings which are nicely placed layer 6 has some more buildings
layer 7 eh blank layer 8 is ok.
overall-7.0
4.Game-play
Most of game-play was nice and a bit annoying like too much springs well that is the gameplay whole lot springs.
overall-6.0
My eyes are humilated! i’ll use it soon for a lvl
its very nice to be a tileset edit my fav is ranforus v past
This is for advanced users only.
