Reposting my review:
I like it. Only two points
*To small
*To yellow
And I would easily get bored of this. I like Jaws’s Amazone set way better.
I wish there was something closer to a seven then a 6.7 It just misses something =)
“Jaws” is a very nice tileset containing 120 tiles showing us details from a beach. A dangerous shark, an (supposedly :-) unsinkable wooden boat, all kinds of censored and, of course, some nuclear waste. The masking is very exact and i didn’t find any serious problems.
The pack also includes a small example level with a wrong next level setting.
Conclusion: “Jaws” is a very sound set of nice tiles that is definitely worth the 16 KB of diskspace. No doubt, it has my DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATiON.[This review has been edited by Aiko]
“Carrottus Roast” isn’t a bad level. But not really a very good one either. The layout is okay but a bit too boring and with too many dead-ends. The use of eyecandy is too sparse (sp?), too. Otherwise, i don’t have much to say. Download or not, you decide (low 6 points).
P.S.:
The wrong next level setting is annoying and should be corrected (use the re-upload function).
Wow!!! With this CTF level pack, ShadowGPW proves it again: he is one of the best level designers of all times. “The Future Evolution” includes three absolutely stunning CTF maps using the Tube Electric and two of DethMan’s awesome CyberSpaz tilesets. One of the best CTF packs i’ve ever seen. Amazing! The design and layout of the levels in unbelievable and so is the eyecandy. Spaceships, insane tube constructions, you’ll get everything here!
Not to forget the music: very fresh, very rocking tunes using the classic tracking style. Great choice, great!
Shadow, i bow down to you! I hope my rating isn’t too high (8.5!!! Makes me dizzy :-).
To sum it up, if you don’t download this, you don’t want to download anything else because you can’t be a Jazz player in that case. Things like this make people like me thinking about converting to CTF fans ;-) DOWNLOAD NOW!
P.S.: One little bug that should be corrected quickly (by re-uploading!): The Shockwave map has a wrong next level setting.
P.P.S.: While playing, i recognized another major bug. In “Waste House” the red team has the same (unfair) starting pos. as the blue team! Should really be corrected or i have to lower my rating.[This review has been edited by Aiko]
ugh, reuploaded it..
forgot to add the tilesets =P
10! I give it 10!
Fine fine.. 8.5.[This review has been edited by FoD MERC]
3 places where you can easily get stuck, a wall bug at the right of the level and non-fitting music. Apart from that the level is good.
Nice work here…
*Seeker p-up is too easy
*I don’t think tubes are a good idea in battle
*Flame p-up is too hard
*And some more… I forgot…
I am updating my level right now!
This is the third level of Flash’s “Impossible Mission” series. It uses the underused (as of today) Medivo tileset. It’s relatively small (size 60*50 tiles) but that doesn’t take anything away because it’s just this tight layout that creates the corresponding atmosphere. Both main aspects, design and eyecandy are very good. The map is fluently playable and will make a great battle arena for about five participating rabbits. Despite it’s not my favourite track, the music with its heavy guitars fits okay here.
To sum it up, this is a very decent level, which will be WORTH THE DOWNLOAD without any doubt.[This review has been edited by Aiko]
This was a terrific level!
Qaz has used the wealth of tiles to create a fine piece of aquatic Jazzing.
From the design of the submarines to the masking, every effort has been made to bring a good idea to a convincing level, though there are some bugs.
I think this level is strange, a lot of weird shaped platforms and a little problem at the right side of the level.
Further, its ok.
Er, the Music works for me. I don’t know why you can’t hear it… Maybe your speakers aren’t on =)
“The Power Of One” is a pretty good single player level using the nice and colourful “Acey Baby” tileset by Ace. It has many (about four i guess) interesting puzzles, which are not really challenging (as the whole level) but still fun to solve. The design of the levels is above average, only the eyecandy could need a bit more work. The background music from Jazz1’s 3D bonus stages fits well.
To sum it up, this is REALLY WORTH A DOWNLOAD, if you like to have five minutes of pure single player fun!
“Stunned” is a pretty good Jazz2 battle map. It is very fluently playable, has a appropiate, circular design (i esspecially like the tubes that connect the different “stages” of the level) and some neat eyecandy. The weapon placement makes sense and without any doubt it’s a great fun to play.
All you battle freaks SHOULD DOWNLOAD THiS ONE right now!
P.S.:
Annoying bug found! “Stunned” has a wrong next level setting (very, very bad idea, MR MAGOO!). Please correct and use the re-upload function![This review has been edited by Aiko]
Medivo is 2nd in my list _
Geez, i don’t know where to start! This level has almost everything what good level needs: varied ammo, good eye candy and the like. There’s just one minor set-back: the custom music (must be me) doesn’t play for me! Besides this, a download recommendation.

I just CAN’T resist a Tubelectric level! :)
Well, Magoo did a pretty good job with this one. There’s nothing special to report (everything has already been said)…
-JelZe GoldRabbit
well i like all most all of magoo’s lvl’s so this one is very good to
“Kings Crown” is a classic battle style level with quality music by the renowned Skaven/FC from Finland. The level itself is from the Netherlands and it has very open design, which makes it fluently playable and a good choice for a decent battle server. There is some very nice eyecandy here and there and i really have no real complain about the level. It just seems a tad boring to me.
Anyways, all BATTLE FANS (like me) should DOWNLOAD THiS iMMEDiATELY.
Hmmm…i really didn’t expect this. Somehow. Well, anyways…its definitely one of the most original and creative and breathtaking level creations of the last few months.
The single player level itself is not too challenging but you’ll enjoy the level so much that you’ll completely forget about design or eyecandy (but i, as a reviewer, should not forget about it: the eyecandy is really amazing throughout the level!). Only small downfall is that there is no background music! (and i really wonder why)
But after all, it seems like the Beatles were quite right: we all live in a (yellow) submarine! “hunt for red october” is A MUST DOWNLOAD FOR EVERY Jazz2 fan![This review has been edited by Aiko]
