wow like seriously this test was like way too easy make it harder T_T
Hosted this level online today for 10 minutes… Was pretty fun.
This can be a pretty useful program,but for its inability to open saved files I have to give it a 8 instead of 9 or so. It’ll take about 15 minutes to translate all the lines,so don’t use it if you don’t have the time :)
sorry uhm well this level just a proper background and
nothing else to do just run and jump buttstomp blocks
and level finishes just so easy nothing else though

Simple and inoffensive, but quite well done nonetheless. There are some interesting visual experiments, most notably the pond, although in some places they come off as messy. Layout and general gameplay is very good, no complaints there.
Played it a fair amount of times, quite difficult but never gave up, finally won. Good job.

Lal, its rather stupid. Personally i dont like the fact that either you or pj do this… rating your own review or whatever. Looks ratehr stupid and unnecacery. And dont lower the rating just because u dont like the gamemode. If you dont like the gamemode then you shouldnt have rated this level in the first place. Leave it for people who do like it.

ok so this level uses the carrotus fix
diamondus tileset first good tileset chosen
the level layout was cool and good eyecandy
is well done but this is treasure hunt try not
to make always treasure hunt well it can
also use for battle though :)
gameplay is good but i dont like
treasure hunt :( but battle can be used so :D
design was cool as i had eyecandy well used
bugs were minor but that doesnt matter good level
keep making levels this time they were very good
i like the layer usage probably one of the good treasure hunt levels
probably someone requested me to delete this

LOL, i was the one who said said “you should upload it on j2o”, but i really was joking… i didnt expect you’d actually put it here. I admit it it was kinda fun playing that lvl, but its fun only first 5 min, then it becomes boring. You should delete this upload before someone gives you rating -5.

Pretty well done for a pack much flaws for
it as well. There are some bugs throughout
the pack. Maybe I will type a full review later
Carrotus Lake, the level name is better then the previous one.
Gameplay
The gameplay is interesting because of the flow in this level, the size makes fast-paced duels with no camping. Like the full Carrot, interesting placement and it’s almost impossible to camp it. However, blue can defend easier then red and red base feels too cramped. But that doesn’t much matter in duels. The ammo placements and weapons are placed exactly where they are supposed to, the Seeker power-up is harder to get then the others. This is a pretty well balanced vertical level, even vertical CTF levels are usually hard to balance.
Eyecandy
Nice and simple use of the tileset, it doesn’t feel too full or too empty, its not distracting either. It’s very easy to get around except for the pumpkins wich can be annoyed sometime.
Music
The music choice is not bad. Its a nice track to listen while having a duel in this level.
Functionality
The level works best out with Spaz. but Jazz and Lori aren’t that bad here. The copter ears can provide much help in the open areas. Double jump is required sometime, this is playable for all charachters.
Should I recommended this? Well if you are a duelist and want to try something new out, I would recommended this.

Ah, when i saw the screens i was like “wow this looks good, the lvl must be great”. But instead…
Eyecandy:
The map suffers rather from the lack of a few tiles and EC. Somewhere there is enough of it, like at the bases. There it looks pretty good. But in the middle… I feel like i’m crossing some empty rooms. It appears the name suits the map quite nicely, if u get what i mean. There were highly any tiles used there…But hordy did use this tileset pretty good. Like ron said, there aren’t any tilebugs,but there are some platforms that looked rather weird. In my opinion in some places there isn’t enough EC. You shouldn’t use repititive tiles, it looks boring.
Overall: 7/10
Gameplay:
Map is rather big. It would be suitable for more players(3 vs 3) if it would actually be playable. The map is obviously spaz biased, and even with spaz its a bit hard to move since some platforms can be far and/or high. Which is why map contains a lot of springs which slows the game and completely ruins it. I also ave to mention some sucker tubes. Well the tubes in the middle, i wouldn’t know if they are helpfull or not… like i said the map is rather big and the sucker tube contains the events with speed 25, which is very fast. However that means u can pass 1/2 map in like 2 sec. It would be like passing 250 miles in 10 min. But still if i decide to walk, and use the route below the tubes, i could go out with my friends, before i get to the other side… Whatever. Basicly you just run around an empty map and u encounter a lot of springs which is annoying, few sucker tubes and warps here and there….

Ammo placements:
This is the worst part of the lvl. Ammo placements are rather bad. Lets start with the fact the there isn’t enough ammo at all, and most of them are hidden behind layer 3. Toaster and Bnc pu placements wouldn’t be so bad… if u hadn’t put a “MP start” event right next to them. RF pu placement also isn’t really good. It is an advantage for the team on the right side since they are closer to it(forgot the colour >.<) . C placement seems okay, but for such an enormous map i would have placed atleast 1 or 2 Carrots+1. The lack of ammo actually affects the eyecandy a little, because now it seriously looks like its completely empty. Hehe i do like the texts tough ;d.

This increased the rating a lot, music’s not bad, alltough for something that has the name “dark zone”. i’d say there are better choices than this, but not bad at all

Hmm, even tough you typed that you fixed a lot of things, the lvl still has a lot of flaws. Prehaps you should work on it a bit more.

and after you got 10 fastfires, you just have to stomp down Ulteurus’s flying (crabs?), and after shoot him down :).
Edit: now you can’t shoot the monkey down.
Probably(not me) an unknown person has edited this download :D because there wasn’t blaster PU before the fight.
But it’s true, now it’s easier and probably better….
