this tileset is for the people who LIKE it not dislike it
Don’t you know what DragonBall is?
It was very popular indeed here in Portugal 4-5 years ago.
Well, it is completely stupid, not minimalist, but unlikely.
And I would say boring too, because, to make people see the next episode (they are all linked, so you see only one episode you won’t understand it) the most important fights take several weeks…
PS: MS-DOS is almost dead in Windows ME
Hey! A single player episode! Nowadays single player levels are rare.
This is nice one, but not so beautiful. Author didn’t use background layers very well. In fact, that doesn’t matter much.
Nice levels, but not enough weapons or foods.
A very very good lvl pack.
Good lvls and puzzles.
On some point a bit too much enemies, but still very good.
(censored someone already used the spaceship idea…)
This pack was one of the best I saw ..
If ya compare these levels with the orginal CLiffy`s ones.. this one rocks da house a lot more!
Recommand to download?
yes
Even though I don’t like anime that much, this tileset is decent. It’s got a few pictures, and if you’re a cartoon fan, you should get this. It also includes a half decent example level.
I should also note that you should never password the example level. :-P
One of the best single player episodes ever released in my opinion. It has tons of enemies, puzzles, custom music, levels, great creative stuff, fun difficulty level. I must say you should download this RIGHT NOW!
“Spiffy little level pack” is the understatement of the week! This pack is nothing but awesome and probably one of the best homecooked Jazz2 things you will ever find.
It would take too much time and space to describe and praise everything in the SXR pack so i only can give some examples: there is a very spiffy Intro using a QoB-like menu from where you can choose story, credits etc..
And there are tons of pretty hard puzzles, eyecandy, enemies, MCEs in each of the levels (and there are so many levels!). Most levels use kewlish custom music and some of the best custom tilesets.
I really can’t say much more. “Shellion’s Extreme Revenge” is definitely in my “Top 3 downloads ever” list (AS and SXR are my favourite packs, i think). And i even thought about giving a 10 here. Well, HiGH 9 (NiNE!) POiNTS!!! Incredible! More than just a MUST-DOWNLOAD!!! Awesome work, Spaztic (+Oli and the Majestic Mappers team)!!!
P.S.: The pack also includes six great battle levels (three by Spaztic and three by Oli).
i love it!!
i’m going to make an assault level too.
please finish and reliece the other versions!!
No need to rate this.
Please think about your high rating, FoD. I don’t think it’s appropriate at all.
Well, i have no clue who or what exactly "Dragon Ball Z" is but this is not the right place to give my opinion on japanese TV cr…ehm…comics.
Now, this is a pretty good tileset with a lot of useful and well-drawn tiles (despite the fact the authors used Evil Paint :-). It even features many cool animations (fighting heros of that TV show i guess).
Another great thing are the background structures that look quite interesting. Splash and Payback also included a nice example level that shows many elements of the tileset in use.
To conclude my review: this is definitely worth a DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATiON! For all comic and custom tileset fans this will be a good choice.
P.S.: As an old MS-DOS veteran, i nearly start crying when recognizing filenames like "Dragon Ball ((.j2t"…argh…;-)))
Evil level edits! EVIL! ;-)
Anyways, I don’t think I’ll rate this, because of the fact that it’s basically just took a little bit of time to make I’ll bet.
Hmm, I could say something right here, but I don’t for it would be evil of me. :-P
I would have given the original DW a 10.. and I like this one better than the original, but this wasn’t an original idea for a level, so.. 8.

I know I’m biased, but I LOVE this level.
Dis33 forever! :)
He has tried Textured backgrounds.. and then he did the smart thing and came to me. ;)
I’m almost done fixing them… I think. I just need to perfect my ways of outsmarting JCS. It remaps palettes, even when you tell it not to. =/
Hmm, quite a good tileset. My only suggestion is you read up on texture backgrounds and download the program reptile2. Its the best texture program I’ve found and its free! :)

There is a link to Reptile download
**Note to Fquist, we need to add markup stuff to the edit script :)

~nuff said
I really love his way of tileset building and this tile (just like iced)
is getting better and better =D
Please continue with this yer getting a “name” here =D
"Banana Beach Demo" is a great pack to download: it includes a pretty kewlish new beach tileset with lots of useless & funny tiles.
The single player level itself tries to demonstrate what a good level maker is able to do with the set. The design is very good and so is the eyecandy (interesting viewing perspective, kinda 3Dish/2D isometric or how is that called?).
The enemy placement at the ending of the level ("hard path") is maybe a bit overdone…but well, its your choice which "path" (hard or "explorer") you want to follow :-)
My overall rating: Low eight points and a MUST-DOWNLOAD for every real Jazz2 fan. Good work, Kejero! I really look forward to see the "full version" (the author labeled this "Demo") of your levelpack!
Dethman is the modest type he made the tileset. There is no questioning that. In tilesets Deth also has more experience.
Also, we don’t need personal attacks here.
