WOW!!! “Mission Uncrossible” really is one of the best homecooked things you can ever download.
It is a single player level pack containing nine awesome levels that are connected through an epic (or maybe not-so-epic :-) storyline.
The pack uses two of the best homemade tilesets (namely BioLab and Battery Check) and eight outstanding music files (download “Mission Uncrossible music”) by artists like 4-mat and Elwood.
Eyecandy and design in levels like “nothing left” (i love the use of the Colonius tileset) or “find the code” are nearly perfect and the puzzles like in “anti intruders” are not too easy even for the J2 oldies.
The ZiP archive also includes nine(!) of Spy’s best multiplayer levels (Three Battle, three CTF, three Treasure and even three Race levels).
You really should see this yourself. It is a MUST DOWNLOAD and surely deserves its place in my personal all time top 10 list. High 9 points for “Mission Uncrossible” by Spy from Holland.

P.S.: It really is a pity that the talented author didn’t have the time to upload all this by himself.
P.P.S.: Not a good idea to post the levels and the music seperately. Will confuse many people, believe me.

Another incredible eyecandy madness level from my immediate neigbour country The NL.
Not only the eyecandy but also the design is truely superb! The puzzles in "Jungle trouble" (actually the level name is "Aliens Landed") are neither too hard nor too easy and once again its the awesome eyecandy which makes it easy to hide crates etc..
And once again Spy (from Holland :-) picked one of best modules for the background music (the music fits perfectly to layer 8) which creates a great level atmosphere.
Very very VERY HiGH eight points (8.6666…, i was very undecided between 8 and 9 points) for this single player level. EVERYONE should DOWNLOAD "Jungle trouble" right now!!!

Completely awesome!!! Spy’s "Newage" (originally released in January 2000) is definitely one of my top 10 favourite battle packs for Jazz Jackrabbit 2. It contains three battle maps using the Jungle, Castle and the Labrat tilesets that came with the game.
The eyecandy is really really incredible and so is the design. The author made nearly perfect use of the tilesets, as Iced already said. And i don’t think the navigation is a major problem here.
"Newage" also uses custom music files and i can’t say much about them…you have to listen yourself. They have an outstanding quality!
To sum it up: this battle pack is a MUST DOWNLOAD. Really, this is "la cremè de la cremè". DOWNLOAD NOW!!! I give out unbelievable 9 points for this ‘coz it rox so much.

“Jungle Trouble” is an awesome single player level by Spy.

Design/Layout is some of the best I’ve seen (as good if not better than the standard single player levels). Though I found one major flaw in it: it’s confusing in some spots. (I spent like 10 minutes hunting for some of those trigger crates.)

Eye candy also quite good, the tileset was used in a creative way. I like that.

Music choice fit somewhat well, could be better, though that barely affects the rating at all.

Overall if you’re a single player fan you definitely get this.. :-)

“New Age” by Spy includes three nice battle levels.

The design in all of these is good, a little hard to navigate, but good. I really like the jungle one..

Eye candy is great. The tilesets were used well. You really don’t need much more to perfect the use of the tileset.

Music choice is good, it does not have a big part in the review, though.

Overall, if you’re a battle fan, you should get this now. :-)

Actually there IS a batle level and a CTF level. Look for “LW, the battle 2” and “LW, the fall” on this site.
And a huge singleplayer episode is coming up.

I really like this tileset. There is so much things to use when making a level. Dinosaurs, palms, and other stuff. Only thing that misses is a single player/battle/CTF level. I must do at least one level with this tileset!

Ninja Dodo, you used background layers really nicely. I love the water falls and dinosaurs and other stuff there!

But level is a little bit too large. Weapon placement is strange, somewhere is too much, somewhere there is no weapons at all. I think that water is bad idea in battle level…

Uh…aiko.. just because he posted levels before, doesn’t automatically mean that this isn’t his first level.

For example: I never posted a LEVEL here, but have made some before. I could make one which is worth 1.0 points right now and upload it to J2O. Does that mean it’s my first level? No.

Obviously, the author of "Diamondus Roastzone" (btw not an original name) really tried to put some eyecandy here.
Unfortunately the resulting level isn’t very playable: there are many small islands in both the normal layer and some background layers which makes it hard to hop around without getting confused.
The design is average (level is a bit too small for example) and i don’t like the music choice at all.
Close to six points because of the nice eyecandy.

Oh and a remark about "first levels". You already posted levels here. Please don’t take this as an offense, but you can’t choose which one is your "first level". A first level is a first level (esspecially if you posted it in public, namely J2O). No escape from that fact :-)

Sorry but I kinda like this ;) I love the fact that you HAVE TO look where you walk.. It could be really funny,

Next time make it a lot bigger and a little less foreground stuff ;) !
Well done for a first level.

Not very good design, and the forground and background make it confusing.

I would not suggest this level a whole lot, but at least there is no tilecutting, right? :-)

Pretty average battle level. Tis a bit too small and is STILL confusing.#&*#&# ;-P

Good use of trigger zones. Pretty basic, etc.

Can’t give a d/l reccomendation for this. Sorry. :-)

And yes, you did spell my name right. ;-)

No, I did mention that the Warp d00ds may leave the tunnels whenever they want and go theal the non-Warp d00ds’ ammo at the research center. I just added those two areas to help you defend the oncoming attacks better and easier (if you like it that way). Hey, It is the warp d00d’s place so i see no reason why they are not allowed to go everywhere. Just capturing the ble flag will remove the whole concept of assault.

I Agree with Iced with the rating, I like the lvl but i didnt got how the Warp Doods work, are they supposed to only use the defence tubes and only use Electro-Blasters?

Overall nice level, but if it really works….. nobody knows

"Carrotus Squash" is another attempt by martin to make the perfect level. And really: you won’t find any bugs in this battle level. martin actually is a level scientist. He spends hours and hours hunting for the smallest design or tile bugs.
The design is awesome and makes it very playable. Eyecandy and weapon placement are very good, too.
Unfortunately, this level has nothing that usually gives me a reason to rate it 9 (which is, as you may know, my highest rating so far) like great selfmade custom tilesets, a large amount of levels in a pack or, very important, exceptional creativity! Oh and by the way, and i still like 5 Alive best. Town definitely beats Carrotus :-)
Nevertheless i respect martin as one of the most dedicated levelmakers ever. He shows what is possible with Epic tilesets.
And of course, i recommend to DOWNLOAD "Carrotus Squash" immediately.

hehe, ok Aiko, if you wanna figure out what it is I suggest you start at Syntax (first person to make an assault level) or Unreal Tournament.
btw I forgot to add this little part in the “Author’s Description” area above. The level is quite big, as a matter of fact it’s 400×100 in size. The only layer it doesn’t use is layer 1 (layer 5 hasn’t got too much though) and for those that might want to play it in low detail there is quite a lot of eye candy in layer 3. Another thing is that it uses a 206kb tileset, which is not the smallest you can get. Make sure EVERYONE that plays this has the tileset (if ur gonna pre-arrange). With my puny 33,6 to 28,8 (depends on how nice my ISP is at the moment) I tested the tileset out on the net a long time ago and every now and then my Jazz froze up cuz of too many ppl dling the set. It’s quite a pain ya know. I suggest you get a nice PC before playing this (Sorry Shadow ;)
