I know that about the crate. And no, it wasn’t my full intention to make it 1 player proof. Whenever 2 people doublecross each other there is something i don’t mind. That wasn’t the main point of the concept either :P. This crate concept works perfect as i wanted.
P.S:Please note that I have updated the level with eyecandy and other things.
To all reviewers:If you want please edit your reviews and if there is any other flaws, kindly write them in a simple review with a rating and it will be certainly accepted.
way better than the first level, but this could be improved a lot….
EDIT
I)Layers:
No layer 2,5,7 usage, and on layer 3 is rain(wich falls bad), on layer 1 is 1 forground eyecandy plant(wich is unseeable).
layer 8 is good.
layer 4 is not bad.
II) Events:
1) The no fire zone don’t works.
2) Here that player wins, who gets first to the fire shield.(what is on the road)
3) too much powerups,and fastfires(whoose have generator).
4)The water block event works bad.
5)The lighning works alright.
III) Layout
Not bad, but could be improved a lot.
1) At the down side of the level, you can fall out from the level.(from where you can escape in multiplayer, just if you are killed).
2) Because of ammo, and other things, the flow of the level is somtimes bad.
IV)Music: At me don’t works.I heard it from my jazz directory.
V) Eyecandy. Because of no layer 2,5,7
usage, every eyecandy is on layer 4, the rain from layer 3(works bad), and the background layer(8), and the lightning from the layer 6.
Rating:
1)Layers:2,7
2)Events:1,6
3)Layout:4
4)Eyecandy:1,5
5)Music: 7
(2,7+1,6+4+1,5+7)/5=3,36—->3,4=3.4
Edit 2
The forground layers are working the same as the background layers, just they are in forground. They have more speed than the normal sprite layer, because if you see a thing closer, it moves faster, and it’s bigger. With the layer 5 rain… have youchecked tile hight and width?
Edit 3: Now it’s bmuchbetter. I raise my rating to 4.9
well these battle levels are good but a bit
too much small try making one battle
level which is big ok?
@MilloCZ
Are you trying to show me that my english
grammar is crap?
@Skitter isn’t it is a bit too much overrated?
lol the level is good but upside down xD :P
1
well this is not a level but i think you aree just
a begineer so take a 1.2 from me but
practice everyday i know that you can
make levels!
[P.S no one likes my reviews :P]
Thanks for the mention even though I barely tested this. I just saw it on a server. Still, thanks a lot! – I Love the mention!
When the crate is destroyed with many players close to each other entering the warp, many players can reach the platform, instead of one player at a time, which you intended. The crate won’t regenerate in time to prevent them from reaching the platform together.
Anyway, I think JDC has some more cool new levels to play in events, including this one. Good job!
EDIT: Your text string specifically says: “There is only Room for one”
I just mothafriggin’ like it! xP
Giving this an 8 + DR should be enough imo
This level has one of the best eyecandy I ever saw with this tileset. Since I wanted to rate this, I do this, no long review for you, because it’s newyear. Anyway, the gameplay is good in someways and it really feels like a stalictited lab. The trigger crate idea is also worked out perfectly! Anyway, this is a must to have in the start of 2011!
Is it not better music than the first musical package. it was really my first view, a bad (I will not bother to use bad language, because if this site happens to be a child (I do not know ))… if this has typos, do not blame me, blame the google translator …
