Let’s see what this is all about.
Gameplay: Below Average
The levels are all ‘puzzle’ levels, indicating that the player has to think before he acts. While that is partially true, I felt as if this pack didn’t provide any mental challenge at all.
The levels are, overall, pretty much the same. Grab a trigger, morph into a frog or bird and exit the level. The imput required is so straightforward, that I actually finished this pack, wondering when the puzzles would start.
The first level takes place in a castle, where a player must randomly try triggers to see which door opens with which trigger and eventually, get them all open. To make it even more frustrating, Ischa has made the trigger zones ‘switch’, which makes them flicker and glitch beyond possible imagination.
The second puzzle was so easy, it was horrible. You climb up on an organ, morph into a frog, climb further up, morph into a bird, backtrack the entire end and WOOT PUZZLE SOLVED. Puzzle, I tell you!!!!!1
Third level: Just run through the switch before you cross the bridge, k?
Fourth level was more challenging (and only a BIT) if it wasn’t for a major design flaw. Once you aquire the TNT’s, you can actually use them to grab the bird morph immediately and exit the level.
The final level was awkward in the beginning. For starters, most blocks you see are one-way. If I knew that, I would have made it within a minute. I used a TNT from the previous level to grab any trigger crates and exited. There was a fun part after the credits, though… you get prompted to a little podium where you can be number one. :)
Overall, it’s not so great and it needs a lot of work. Don’t feel discouraged, though, as puzzle levels with actual puzzles are fun!
Atmosphere: Below Average
Yeah, well, there just isn’t much to say about this here. There’s few eyecandy, except for some standard stuff like backgrounds, caves, etc. The music choice was pretty bland as well and the one in the third level even made me wonder as to why you wanna choose music which tell us “James Brown is dead”.
Your eyecandy needs tons of work. Try to look at high rated levels, see what makes them look good. Most importantly, don’t even be satisfied yourself. Spend more and more time on making a level look good (after you make it interesting and playable).
Overall: Not so good
I’m sorry, but there just isn’t a lot to this pack. The ‘puzzles’ aren’t challenging, the pack in general isn’t long and will keep you busy for, what, 10 minutes. People looking for a real challenge should try EvilMike’s series. Maybe you should, too, Ischa, just to see what makes a good level.
Oh and don’t steal ktnxluvbye
Download Recommendation: No
Sorry, but just no. This does not make it in my book of good levels.
Score: 3.8
Most points go out for effort. Spend more time on levels and make them look interesting, and this grade might go up a lot more. Good luck. :)
good puzles i think you desirve a 7.7

No,it does NOT deserve a 10!!!!!
But, it’s more than a 1….
Level was fairly boring, with basically a lonnnnnnnnng drop with nothing to do but sit and watch until the warp brings you back to the top, for more drops. I dunno, I have this thing in real life about sudden, long drops, and this game does not help it at all. The credits go by waaaaaay too fast to read, the only name I caught [because I buttstomped] was Blacky, and each name appears for about 2/3 of a second. Then there’s nothing.
Music was hilarious. Eyecandy was not. No laughing matter, it had two teal and red pipes, two blue pipes, a black bg, and zip elsewhere. Very unfun!
No DL rec, but I’ll be nice and give you a 3.5, because at least it’s playable, and it looks halfway decently allright.
Nice levelpack, exact copies of the original levels.
I like the way you used to do the ? blocks instead of jumping against them, good job!
In level 1-2, i loved how you didnt forget to put the Warp Zone in, not everybody would’ve thought about that.
Overall: Nice job, really nice.
8.5 from me!
I changed my mind about this level after having played it a few times in Zeal Alpha.
Some places in ‘Facing Worlds’ lack ammo, for example the area between bases and the carrot. But it’s a small level and it has 4 Pu’s, so I guess that’s okay. The EC isn’t impressing, but it’s decent enough. I quite like the light towers.
The center area is a bit full (2 PU’s and a Full NRG really close to eachother), although the pits make this a tricky area. It’s also Spaz-biased since springs, next to bases, are missing which makes it quite hard for Jazz to reach certain platforms.
The warp-placement makes this level really campy, since all warp targets lead to the base. This can be a positive thing too, but the ammo-rooms are a huge problem. You don’t have any other exits and your opponent could just keep camping the target.
Anyway, this is quite fun to play, if you avoid the ammo-rooms, and also fast paced, which is always a good thing. I like the idea of two bases, like in MS and well, since it’s a remake (I don’t know the original however) I think it definitely deservers more than the 5.5 I gave earlier. Also, since the fun-factor is high, you should really consider downloading this.
I’m to lazy to do a normal review so whatever. Anyway, right now, this is my favorite FR level, not just because he’s birdie, but because of how he made it. It doesn’t get totally cramped if it’s 10+ people, it actually get’s quite exciting. I love the Bouncy Turrent, and the crate which traps the campers near the flag the most. Yeah! Dload now!

This Episode seems so real and the enimies are placed very well but i dont relly find it difficult all you got to do is to shoot a path for you to cross
Story line:Sad But Nice=2/2
Eyecandy Perfect=3/3
lvls Size=5/5
=10/10
Download recomation=Yes
An improvement on your previous version. No idea why it’s called Forest as it doesn’t really look like one.
EYECANDY
Everything looked OK although there are still a few tilebugs in the Layer 4 ground tiles. The background was OK but nothing very special and I couldn’t really see the BG in Layer 6/7 until I got near the bottom of the level.
You could add some atmosphere to the cave parts by using the “Set Light” events to make it a little bit darker and seem as if you’re in a cave.
Overall, the eyecandy is nothing really special, looks kinda similar to the original TSF Easter level.
6/10
GAMEPLAY
There are various puzzles to be found in this level. They all involve breaking Trigger Crates and do not require too much thinking to proceed. The triggered bridge across the pit works much better as you now are unable to run and jump or copter over it.
There are a few secrets that can be found here, some of these are hiding Coins which can be used to gain access to the 20 Coin Warp where you can get a Toaster Power-Up, a Full NRG Carrot and some ammo.
The level was a good length, not too long or too short. It lasted me about 10-15 minutes which is good.
A few more puzzles were added to the level, still didn’t require too much thinking but you needed to explore the level a bit more to find more crates as there was more than one in each of the 4 warps.
7.5/10
ITEM & PICKUP PLACEMENT
Food was plentiful in this level this time. There was enough to start two Sugar Rushes.
There were enough Carrots to find. I did get down to 1 Heart Health but I was able to find a +1 Carrot, of which there is a reasonable amount of them.
Two Full NRGs can be found here; one in the Coin Warp and another just before the Boss.
Amount of Gems has now been reduced, I only found about 300 this time.
There was just one 1UP to be found so gaining an insane amount of lives will not happen.
There was one Power-Up which can be found in the 20 Coin Warp but I thought this was useless as I already had maximum fast fire on the Blaster.
Overall, placement of the pickups is good and there is now plenty of food to get.
7.5/10
ENEMY & OBSTACLE PLACEMENT
There was a reasonable amount of enemies in this level, not too many or too little. They were not in annoying places such as on 3 tile wide platforms or platforms above Springs.
Obstacles in this level were Trigger Scenery and Spike Balls to fly past. The spikes were kinda easy to get through and not much thinking was required to get through the Trigger Scenery.
The boss wasn’t too hard but the amount of Fast Fires I picked up from enemies made him a bit easy.
7/10

SHOULD YOU DOWNLOAD?
Marian has put more effort into the level to add more puzzles and the level lasts longer than before, took me about 5 minutes longer. So, I would say YES to downloading this.
ulpoad the title to this level i can’t play it
:D kewl to see someones taking inspiration out off my levels!
really, you shouldn’t thought (IF you did) that i was getting dissapointed or something.. but to be honest.. i only saw the idea off the trees down :(
Note: i just checked you also reviewed it.. the intro part is only happening when you play on single player.
This is a very good pack. Fearofdark has created a series of JJ1-themed levels, each shining brightly in the JJ2 nightsky. But more to follow below…
Eyecandy was just great, from the different signs in Industrius, to the trees and waterfalls of Diamondus, to the amalgamation of electrical components in Tubelectric, the eyecandy ruxors. I did also like how each planet was preceded by a little “warp-to” intro.
Story was explained well, the super-special carrot of Diamondus was stolen and you must get it back. The levels were nice, although they did drag on after a while.
Tilesets used were good-picked ones. The blasters in Tubelectric [which is available in certain JJ1 conversions, but not others] were used, as were the spark fences. Nearly every aspect of each tileset is used in the levels, which is nice.
The music was the JJ1 music for each planet, leading me to believe that this is in fact a JJ1-themed pack and not something completely different. I like it, it’s good to have a bit of variety of what is made in each pack.
I didn’t like [like SPAZ18 said] the annoying miniturtles. They were a pain. The carrots were few and far between. There were a fair amount of baddies, but no more than to be expected. Overall this pack was done quite well, and I would not hesitate to play it again…
Summing up, I think that FOD did a wonderful job on this pack. Aside from a few minor picks and pokes, it’s relatively squeaky clean and definitely worth a download.
i know this person and i hope he doesn’t get mad at me for rating it bad

I can’t remember that much levels made by Robee, but this DOM-level is actually quite good! Which means that it’s time for a review!
Let’s start with the layout. The MP Start-areas are in-game quite.. useless. Also, the red spring leading to them can be quite annoying. Then there are two coinwarps at each side leading to a Seeker Pu, which is quite a good idea, but the level lacks imo some coins. Also at each side a PU, though Bouncy seems a lot stronger than Toaster since most platforms are quite thin. The CP’s are placed quite well, both in corners of the level and it should take some time to go from CP to CP. Death Pits (called ‘the Beast’) are quite nice and fit the level’s atmosphere.
About that atmosphere, it’s really good! There’s variety in eyecandy, the backgrounds are okay and overall the atmosphere is just quite good. What I don’t like are the details, since when you look close to some things they aren’t that good actually, for example the floating stalactites at (37,29). And then the sign at (59,7), lol.
About the gameplay and flow. Since this level is quite small two CP’s are good. 3 Pu’s with one hard to get (since it lacks coins) is also the right ammount. Getting the Pu’s, which are in some dead-endy area’s, takes some time (which is good) and well, everything’s at the right spot, I guess.
So should you download it? Errr, yes. It’s a quite good level with a good atmosphere and gameplay. It will play well, I guess, with 4-6 players.
I would like to start of by saying that this level doesn’t require JJ2+ to play. Now let us begin:
There are some things good with this level. The length of the level is good. It isn’t too short so that you complete it in second, but also, it isn’t too long. There are a good amount of enemies and goodies (although some parts contain too many blue gems), and there is a fair amount of puzzles envolving trigger crates and stuff. The level also appears to be mostly fixed in terms of eyecandy.
However, this level has a lot of room for improvement left. The level lacks originality. There isn’t anything new about it, and infact, some of the ideas were copied from the TSF easter levels. There is nothing original about the eyecandy either, which still has a few bugs in it. I don’t think the up arrow made of sparks looks very appealing. Also, the level could be more fun with a story, otherwise, you don’t know why you are playing it. The difficulty of the puzzles and secrets could be improved. They don’t require much thought. You could still do the airboard part of the level without an airboard (and it is probably much easier). Finally, the music doesn’t really suit the level.
PROS:
+ Level is a good length
+ Nice amounts of items and enemies
+ Nice amount of puzzles
+ Mostly fixed.
IMPROVEMENTS:
X Nothing original about it
X Puzzles don’t need much thought
X Eyecandy still has bugs
X Music doesn’t suit the level
X Needs a story
FINAL RATING:
Overall, this is a pretty average level. Perhaps higher, since it is improved from the old version. Because of this, I shall give this a 6.5.
RANK: 6 OK
DOWNLOAD?: This level ranks somewhere in the middle. There are houndreds of better levels out there, but you could also do a lot worse. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to download this. Have a weak Download Recommendation :)
I hate test. TEST IS SUXXXX!!!
And this is test… :/
sorry mark but i think this is SUXX…
Oh! I didn’t saw it earlier ;D
I played that and I tested that, so…
The level is very good, especially I liked your battle-fog efect. I think so playing battles on your level is pure fun ;)

@ Slaz: the warp you are talking about only did that in a previous not uploaded version of this level, I have replaced the warp target.
I had a problem with the secret level. After finishing that, I was just sent back to the desktop without any errors appearing. I guess I’ll have to proceed without the secret level for now.
EDIT: It works now! :D
Good job on fixing it, I’ll review sometime.
