i think the 6.5 extreme overate i give you 3.2 point…. good luck to your next level ;)
hmm… not I like a not bad little program:) useful little program. But you could gloss it drew a small one on the program according to me strange solution you hit home to the making of the program but not bad.Nice Work :)
Doen’t work on 1.24 is said: ACCESS VIOLATION .
[Rating (5.0) clearance. – cooba]
Okay, here is a nice conversion, got most of the tiles, got the signs [yay!], got lots of stuff, let me start a list.
MOST/ALL JJ1 TILES: +
CORRECT COLORS: +
EXTRA TILES: -
USEFULNESS: errrm, + & -
Not much extra stuff in it, which saddens me. But colors are good, the usability is tolerable, hence the undecided vote. It has pretty much all the JJ1 tiles, which can be important. So, I’ll give it an 7.9, but t could use a tad touch up.
Oh, and some of the tiles at the bottom are flipped. The wrong way. :P
This is a nice level! Good tileset, great graphics, good music, the level rocks. However, it is a bit small, and the routes btwn bases are fairly easy. Almost too easy. But anyway. This is a good level, virtually no bugs, good amts of pickups, nice sucker tubes, it flys well.
But I am concerned about the small layout, and the easy-to-memorize routes. But this is not big, and it gets a dl rec.
Wow. What a silly level! Somewhat good structuring, as it gave me quite the challenge. The reward at the end was equally satisfying, as millions and millions and millions and millions and billions and trillions and quadrillions and quintillions of gems were flying all over the place. I must have gotten literally a 1000 gems in that area. That was funny. However, the gameplay was quite hard[ either that or I’m not good at tests :P] But, good work, and people can dl this for a good laugh and a good game.
Woops!
First bug, but now it’s fixed ;)
and it should work with 1.24.
It does for me.
And sorry for the bad input system.
The most important letters should work properly though.
well, what a great conversion! Like others have said, Violet CLM’s conversion does indeed seem to have all or most of the tiles from JJ1. Not much to complain about there. However, there is one evil little bug in the level. In the floor and ceiling tiles, if you put the floor right on top of the ceiling, and jump hard and fast enough, you can go right through the floor! :(:(:( Fixing needed.
Music fit well, colors were right on [unlike some conversions I’ve played…], so I’ll give you a good rating and a dl rec.
couldn’t find the episode bmp images :(
I was not able to complete the level…
Well, here’s my 2 cents:
Very, very, very very good conversion! Dreempipes is my absolute *FAVORITE** tileset in Jazz1, and this conversion is no exception. The colors are very well done, the masking good in most places [except in the pipe, which I DID go through, unlike what Blacky said], music good, I like everything here. You included all [I think…] the tiles from the orig game, and this makes me happy. Readers, go DL right now! This conversion is a masterpiece perfectly and brilliantly showing off Violet CLM’s skills as a Jazz1 tileset convertor.
Good, solid level.
GS is HUGE. It has good eyecandy and smooth mechanics, and ammo is placed pretty well.
I didn’t like the music very much, because I felt it didn’t fit at all.
All in all, though, it’s definitely worth a download. More people need to know about this.
Oh, and someone PLEASE edit Sir IR’s review.
Okay, here’s a pretty good conversion! Labratkid [or, should I say Lark?]‘s conversion of Jungrock is pretty muchly completed, with most of the tiles there [I believe Violet pointed a few out], colors are pretty good. There’s not much to find fault with here! I guess I need to find something [well I don’t, but whatev] to talk on about, so here’s something: Snow doesn’t work. this ruins the concept of a battle I once had. But, this doesn’t detract from the overall feel of the battle, and I can feel comfortable giving you a high rating!
EDIT
Oh, and can you do a decent TechNoir next? The current one is in dire need of help.
This is a wierd thing. It’s taking me a long time to find MIRC [this may just be because I’m not actively searching for it], but from what I can gather and what I’ve heard, this sounds like a pretty good program. All the files appear to be there, it just appears to need MIRC. I would suggest doing a google search for it, as I will do when I’m not so busy. I am withholding my better opinion until I dl MIRC.
Meh…This tileset is pretty good. Small, not too much in it, but what is in there is great quality. There’s only one type of ground, a few small pipes, ONE bg [3?! 3 bgs!?!??!!], a few nice-looking mario animations, this tileset’s got some pretty big pros. However, the fact that the example level doesn’t even work [you can barely move before it causes an access violation] unnerves me. So, all in all, I will give you a 7.0, with room for improvement. Enjoy working!
This was an okay idea. Concept was all right, but excecution was not. You basically just recolored everything, into about 20 [or 30, or 40, or however many you used] different hues, pasted em all together, and sent them in to us. At first glance they look just fine. But, they are truly just ripoffs. I mean, like a bunch of other people said, it’s really not that good quality. So, I will give you a 4.0, with a dubious dl recommendation.
[WARNING IN ADVANCE TO TRAFTON: dubious means “unsure”. Just so you don’t go and remove the rating prematurely. :)]
Well! nice level here, with some different “minigames”, ranging from find your way out, to get the coins, to climb the water tower [yes, WATER TOWER], there’s about ten different games. The tileset is a bit bland, as is the music, but the level itself, it’s pretty good quality stuff. Eyecandy would also have been appreciated, but it’s good for a preliminery run. Go ahead and DL, folks. It’s great!
Okay, this level has an odd feel to it. It’s hard for me to decide whether you were conveying a singleplayer feel, because of the baddies, bird, and lots of ammo, or a multiplayer feel, by the multi powerups, lots of ammo, fastfires. Remove the invincibility. It’s a big no-no [as someone else said…]. Put the shield not in the openness. But, the eyecandy was good, the level upbeat, so go ahead and dl.
Okay, so here we have some pretty sweet stuff. As Bob said, 3 levels, 3 sets, 3 songs [one is a default song], and all of them fairly well done. Pedistal is basically 3 metallic towers, with a deathpit beneath them. This gives it the sort of feel Sector Probe 68-A conveyed. Cage Rage was an industrial/fighting kind of level, with control points inside of boxing ring-like structures. The flipside of this was that once you were inside the cage, there was no leaving until you died. Daemon’s Eye was a castle level, with points inside the castle. Overall, eyecandy was good, music good, tiles good, minimal bugs, but the pack seemed a bit short. Maybe include more levels next time? I dunno. So anyway, I will give you a 8.6!
Okay, so, here is a fairly good level. A jailbreak mode game [only available w/jj2+, found here: [ http://www.jazz2online.com/d3/plus.zip ], you must escape from the fortressout to freedom beyond. Eyecandy was alright, music was great!, concept worked real well, overall your level is pretty good. But, I didn’t figure out right away that the level was jailbreak [silly me, I’ll check next time…]. The set itself didn’t have too much to go on, so you did fairly well with what you had. DL is recommended.
