To begin this tileset is a weary good job! I Love it! I am happy to review such a promising tileset! Excelent job!
QUALITY
This is good what done in it so far but needs a lot more stuff, so it can be used for a long single player. Its rare to see such a well made Mario tileset, usually they are bad. I tell you to keep working on it!
TILES
Nice the blocks and characters are big as they should be and this makes them easy to use. I love that you put in some character tiles people usually put in a few. You should put in more too. The tiles are made pretty well, just extend it with a lot more.
BUGGYNES
I didn’t find any, but this isn’t say that it can’t have any! Always look for bugs multiple times!
EYE CANDY
I am experienced with eye candy in Mario tilesets and I say it haves just enough what a mario tileset needs. But there is no to much in eye candy so just put in much as you can.
PROBLEMS
Its just to short need more stuffs! A lot more stuffs!
FINAL NOTES
More and more stuff in it! Put in much as you can! You do it really great so continue working on it promise me this!

Keep on working on your creativity, friend. Maybe someday you will make a great episode.
PT, Hurt events do half the job in multiplayer as they should, as they only hurt the host. Clients only flinch from these.
Well, this isn’t the best level, but it’s definitely not the worst.
Because of its small size, however, it can get pretty boring after a while. It’s still worth a download if you want something to host for a few minutes.
Oh, yeah, and eyecandy is great. +1 for that.
this not bad level I like for me
the tileset good
it music to it appropriate
and the level good
!!!NICE WORK!!! :)
now present this “dominating” everybody to this does levels and the others are neglected this does not like… but this new mod not bad I like him :)
The waterfall is too slow but no bad lvl.
Starting Comments
It’s time to pick up the pace and head to the starting grid. I have a feeling this level will be blazing!
Gameplay: Excellent
Lost Luggage Landfill is a race level filled to the brink with original ideas, shortcuts, handy weaponry and obstacles. For example, there’s a really tricky part in the level where you must cross a vine-bridge. One shot can make you fall into oblivion and force you back. Rag certainly spent a lot of time to make this level’s flow perfect. Rarely will a player get stuck pushing walls or falling back down… well, except when another player forces you down. ;)
Atmosphere: Good
Although I can’t see the link between “Lost Luggage Landfill” and something that appears to be a space station, I must conclude that Rag’s level looks more than moderately good. He uses the BattleShips tileset in ways I’ve never seen before (or anyone, for that matter). Though sometimes a bit chaotic, the overall directions stay clear and it’s more than obvious wether you’re about to run into a wall or a tunnel. The music emits a spacey vibe that somehow makes you wanna run for it, despite it being a remotely slow song.
Eventing: Good
Bouncers, TNT, Freezers, anything you need in a race level is here. A tricky powerup every now and then and hidden surprises make Lost Luggage Landfill a gem under the sun. Creative use of those hourglass-thingies and springs, not to mention the poles, who surpassed my imagination as far as they can be used in race levels.
Bonusses and substractions
+10 because you’re Rag
Overall Fun
Besides being a good level, this level is actually a lot of fun to play with a handfull of players. Either download this or LET’S GO KFC.

Hell yes.
Well, as they say, practice makes perfect. If people don’t like your level, try again; your newer levels will always be a little bit better every time.
The creativity in this level just keeps amazing me every time I play it. Every time I play here, I notice something completely new and creative. You could honestly play this level for hours at a time. Would it get boring after a while? The answer is no. I’m just so impressed with Rag’s latest work, and this by far, gets a vote for one of his best all time levels. Maybe not in everyone’s first person view, but for me, this is just superior. The Eyecandy just makes this level flow, and the atmosphere just feels so realistic. The Ideas Rag put into the eyecandy for such a set, are brilliant. If someone was looks for some ideas, eyecandy wise, this would be the level to look at. Another thing I wanted to point out where the tricks and short cuts he put in here, as well as “death zones” such as the vines near the very end of the level. If you fail to cross, you’ll have to start the lap completely over. A trick that he put in here, was the RF jump near the middle of the level. It’s not impossible, but it’s not the easiest to complete, which is perfect for such a simple, but brilliant trick. I give this level 2 thumbs up, and a definite download. Good job Rag.

Just to let you know, Rayman 2 is NOT rayman M… Rayman 2 music rocks even more than Rayman M music.
So, now for the review part:
It is good. It is really really good! It is cool that you somehow have found a way to convert the custom Rayman M thing to XM so BRAVO!
Tip:
For the ones who love the tunes of the chars, convert them too please.
I thought eyecandy was excellent! I thought the rain fit! It is in no way a small level, as it is [I believe] well over 5000 tiles.
I’m still getting used to this.
I don’t know why you’re writing all this dumb stuff about me, but I would like you to tone it waaay down. You don’t need to be nearly this critical, and you really sound like you’re picking fights. Do you ever have anything positive to say about me?
This is not a personal attack. It’s just an observation.

It’s okay, Faw. No harm meant in any way. Maybe I should just try harder…
Wow!Perfect
Good Job,Gry!
In addition, your 1.24 plus version is wonderful too :D
[BAHAHAHA QUICK REVIEW! ~cooba]
this is a very small level, where i can’t see anything because off the rain spam. further a very worse dead end in the right and weird masked unseeable objects, tubes make this level even more complicated as it is. eyecandy is okay, but oculd have some more variety in the background. overall, i don’t see myself playing this again, sorry :S.
Nothing special about it.. but anyway, this level is to small for the contest.. Width + height should be 5000 and the ‘playable’ area comes to like 4200. the level itself is very small, with small paths.. coins were useless for those weak power ups, not very good flow.. and stuck at hurt events, because they won’t hurt in multiplayer.
I said a while ago i would review every singleplayer level from now on, you are the first, so let’s start.
First of all, i hate homemade tilesets, most of the time it’s not ‘jazzy’ enough and there isn’t any reason to use it, because JJ2 comes with some beautiful tilesets. This is why i don’t understand why you have used Nature ruins and not just ‘Jungle’. Sure, i have to agree that Nature ruins is a tileset which (if it’s used in a good way) you can make quite jungle-looking levels with, but somehow Guz managed to give the whole level an ‘empty’ feeling because of a lack off eyecandy.
The level was sometimes a bit unclear, I did also fell in the instant death pitt thinking there were some goodies over there. And the puzzle was just horrible, i just had to look on JCF how to solve it.
So, i guess you are wondering now why you didn’t get a 1.0
Well, here’s why. Village of Kali is not a good level, but there are far more worse one J2O. I can’t complain about the enemy placement, same story about the goodies (well, OK, maybe some more carrots and weapons would’ve been nice). There were some interesting and original things in it that i just might use in my own levelpack. Village of Kali may not be a good level, but it’s certainly not a bad level.
RATING: 6.5
Recommendation: NO
No 1.23 support. Crusher meh server :(
Add 1.23 support!
The first screenshot looks a lot like the old Crysilis, but the other two look more like an entirely diffrent thing. I`ll edit when I`ve downloaded and looked at it. But even now I think this is worth a 6 for eyecandy alone! edit: OH NO! THE LINK IS BROKEN!
[Rating (6.0) clearance. Please learn to read. – cooba]
I did read, but I thought it might be broken for AOL users or something like that, then downloaded it.(Well, that didn`t actually happen, but…)Next time I`ll review AFTER I try downloading it.
Also, someone below me was able to download it. As I said, next time I`ll do better before posting…
OK! I downloaded it know. WOO! It is above my best expectations! I agree fully with that extremely long, but helpful review. (Am I allowed to enter my rating now?)
I give it a 9.7. Just because perfectity can`t be achieved. But, this is near perfectity! It REALLY is good. Example two has used tiles that make me feel like playing Sonic…which is quite funny, BTW.
So, if you`re STILL not convinced to download this, then you shouldn`t be around here AT all.
This is an enjoyable little single player level. You attempt to enter some type of temple, and have to fight your way in. The plot is a bit simple, and there’s no explanation as to why you want to enter the temple, which gives the feeling that this level belongs as part of a larger pack. However, this does not detract from the overall value of the level. The eyecandy is nice, and I didn’t experience any bugs, although in one point, a few more One Way events could have been used. The gameplay was qutie good in some places, like the first spikeboll maze. The only problem I had was that a few places were quite frustrating. In the very beginning of the level I fell to my death without warning, and did the same thing again just before the airboard. Also, some of the puzzles had me stumped until I looked in JCS and realized that a block I thought would have trigger scenery actually had a destruct scenery event, or that shooting some random tile in the ceiling was the only way to continue. The enemy, goodie, and food placement were excellent, with one exception. On Hard mode, more enemies were just placed in the same spot. This makes some parts a tad boring, because they just invovle tapping shoot a ton of times, and no skill. I’m sorry if this review seems to have a negative tone, because the level was quite good overall. I would have loved to see more, and think the biggest improvement Gus could make would just be increasing the size of the pack.
A very nice level, but then again, what can you expect from two of the best of the best level makers in XLM?
It’s very hard to top levels like this, and even I’m experienced in level making since 2007.
This level reminds me of Aend in the aspect that it is open, yet at the same time very tunnely, a common type of layout in a more enclosed level. Since the level is open, there is plenty of room to move around in, yet it’s built in a way that it won’t get chaotic. Theme and EC seem good enough, music is a solid choice.
