[Unsupported rating (9.2) clearance. Please provide more support for your rating. For more information on writing a proper review, see the \Review Rules\. – Cooba]I should rename this Drmoo Tileset Extractor and recompile and release it saying it’s mine. But i’m not that demented XD.
I dont’ know how to get it to work though…
EDIT: GOT IT WORKING IT’S FRIGGIN SWEET! ALL 10 OF MY STARS GO TO THIS!
[Unsupported rating (10.0) clearance. Please provide more support for your rating. For more information on writing a proper review, see the \Review Rules\. – Cooba]The third episode of the series were not as good as i’ve expected. I couldn’t enjoy like i did in the first two episodes. cause there were always endless pits, bloody spikes that sucks you…
No 1ups and not enough carrots to balance the difficulty, it’s nearly impossible to beat.
Also there weren’t new ideas except the explosions while chasing Mick Natla. Also the animated rocks in the temples were original.
The pack has has 5 episodes and it’s hard to keep the story interesting.
So there are two more episodes, and the author would make these episodes much more different than the first three. cause the pack started to repeat itself.
So, it’s my rating:
Gameplay- +0.9
Idea- +1.7
Tileset- +0.9
Music- +1.3
Bugs- +1.6

The author says that he made it in a day and not to expect anything cool. However, I wasn’t expecting anything like this!
EYECANDY
The BG is OK but this was taken from the original Castle levels. The eyecandy in Layer 4 is just bad. Improper use of tiles, most of them don’t join together. As you progress through the level there is a MASSIVE area of RANDOMLY placed tiles with “Under Construction” signs there too. The Knights and Candles at the bottom of the level are interesting but they move a bit too fast.
2/10
GAMEPLAY
Not very good at all. The tons of enemies in the level make it really hard but that is not good. Very little Checkpoints can be found here, so if you die it’s back to the BEGINNING. It’s not impossible to complete, just that it got far too hard and I resorted to using JJRUSH & JJINV a lot.
1/10
ENEMY & OBSTACLE PLACEMENT
As I said before there are tons of enemies here. I saw about 1000+ Floating Lizards, 250+ Fencers, 150+ Ghosts, 5 Bees and 2 Schwartzenguards. Seriously, there is that many enemies.
No Trigger, Destruct or Buttstomp Scenery, so nothing much to say about obstacles.
1/10
ITEM & WEAPON PLACEMENT
At the start, I see 10 Coins which have no use whatsoever, there wasn’t any Bonus Warps. As I progress through the level, I see about 25 RF, and 10 Electro Blaster PUs. There were not enough Carrots in this level. No Food or Gems at all, but as there are TONS of enemies, you could get items from them.
2/10
DIFFICULTY – EASY/MEDIUM/HARD
As I have about a 90% or more chance of dying I would say this is hard.

This is a fantastic tileset. I’ll post a review tomorrow as I can’t get on the computer right now.
If any of you are wondering how I typed this, I did it with the Wii Remote. Stupid predictive text.
EDIT: Here it is.
This has got to be the BEST Industrius conversion I have ever seen!
TILESET: JJ1 INDUSTRIUS 2005
MAIN REVIEW
The first thing I see is that all the tiles & objects from the original Industrius are there, including the fast moving rockets and the fast moving platforms. The pink background is missing but I don’t think that really matters as I really like the Layer 8 Textured BG. I tested it out in a level and it looks GREAT! All the original adverts are there too including the Gravis Gamepad, Epic Pinball, One Must Fall and “Enjoy Epic.” These can be animated just like in JJ1. There is also some additional stuff including:
*Vines
*H & V-Poles
*Scenery Blocks – * & ! – I think it could have done with some other blocks including the Keyhole, blocks with a * with a number next to it and maybe blocks with the Weapons on them.
*Trigger Scenery – the lined block.
*New text signs as well as the original JJ1 signs.
Also included is an Evening version, where the only change is that everything has been given a shade of orange. I do think this version looks good but I’m not really too keen on it. I prefer the other version, this won’t affect the rating too much though.
Next, I will now talk about the layout and ease of use of this set.
The layout is SUPERB, tiles are very well organised and not jumbled up. The set is easy to use because you can easily find the tiles you want. Tiles can be animated easily.
Now for the masking, all the tiles are masked correctly, no jagged edges or any tile bugs like that.
EXAMPLE LEVEL (not counted towards rating)
Just a small battle level showing what is possible with this tileset. There are 2 other mini arenas you can choose from.
CONCLUSION
Now for the rating, I’m gonna give this a 9.0 as I love this tileset but there are still some things that could be added or improved such as more scenery blocks. Evening version is good but I don’t think I’d use it as much as the other version.

This Fastrack.j2b won’t even do anything, its just a blank file. And that “Good Background” is just ripped from the Epic Tubelectric levels.
Atmospherical is a small/medium sized CTF level by Darksonic using the War Torn tileset. Unlike many levels with this tileset, it doesn’t look a like a Distopia clone :p. This also his best level yet in my opinion.
EYECANDY
I like the way the tileset is used in this level, it has some EC you wouldn’t normaly see with this tileset. Those caves look a bit boring though, they should have more vareity, but they still seem to get the job done in this level. There is rain on layer 1, which I haven’t seen anyone use it in any other War Torn levels. :D The music choice (Ascent.s3m) gives the level a unique atmosphere combined with the rain and other stuff. (Hence the name atmospherical :p). The background looks awesome too.
4.4/5
GAMEPLAY
In most of his levels, Darksonic has made a simple, solid layout that is usally symectrical. The layout in this level however is different from the rest. It has quite a bit of strategy, and it isn’t too linear or one-way.
The gameplay is fast paced, and the flow is good, but like P4ul said some of the springs cause you too hit the celings :(.
The placement is good too, the ammo is placed in shapes rather than boring 2×2 squares. There are two power-ups, RF and Bouncer, but they are a bit too close to the bases. I suppose that doesn’t really matter that much though. There is 1 Full energy carrot in this level, which is the middle (Good :D).
4/5
In general I think this is a very nice level but it does have a few flaws.

I have find a error: Its a suckertube on pos 28,61!
the link to download this is not working :(
Yeh!
I like this level.
This level is a great job with all the trees in layer 3,5, and also in layer 2. I also like the caves very much, that and the trees makes the level look like a “real” jungle:P
And here Details.
I played with Jazz in normal mode.
Eyecandy: 9,9999…/10
Hmm…There was very much eyecandy and i love it. But sometimes there been to much. Sometimes I didn’nt see the enemies and got hard lifeloss, that why I don’t give you 10 points for the eyecandy, but you can see it as 10 points. If you would make more levels make them with the same eyecandy as this one.
Enemies: 7.5
The enemies in this level was good placed, not to much and not to less if you are playing in normal mode, but there was only one ‘hard mode enemy’, so there are a little less enemies for hard mode. The choice of enemies was good but not perfect. The ravens shouldn’t be there, but it makes no bigger different.
Ammo placement: 8.5
Good ammo placement.
I had around 5-20 cartridges of all weapons in the whole level, but I was out of fire in one part of the level.
The choice of ammo was good, but not perfect. Fire and ice are two good weapons to use in jungle, but I hoped to see any bouncers in this jungle level. (my favorite weapon, but I will not decrease the rating because of that)
Other placement: 7.5
What can I say.
Food, goodies, and diamonds was all good placed, but I didn’t see any ‘easy mode events’, like carots and other, that will decrease the rating a little.
Gameplay: 9
Very good gameplay.
The great eyecandy did so the level caught me in a hurry, and then it just flowed on until I came to the place with the air boards.
There I lost the good feeling, it decreased the gameplay:( but when I continued after that I cameback in a few seconds.
The length of the level was good.
I never reached the feeling “when is it over”, but the level could easily be 10 times bigger. Ok, I exaggerated, but I could have been playing a a much longer time.
I saw a very few untiling tiles, but in so low degree it makes no bigger different.
I didn’t find any bugs here and that’s good.
Average rating: 8.7
Not an exactly average rating but overall I think this level deserve it.
This is my first review so been gently if you there is something wrong that I didn’t have seen.
White pinguin
Electro Rabbit is Benchmark’s first level. Unfortunately it is really not that good.
EYECANDY
Not good. Tiles are used incorrectly in lots of places. Background looks OK but that is the only good bit about the eyecandy. At the far right of the level was a big load of RANDOMLY placed tiles.
2/10
GAMEPLAY
This level was very confusing. I finished it in just under 2 minutes, far too short. There were Checkpoints everywhere. I kept finding one about every 5-10 seconds. I had no idea what I was supposed to do.
1/10
PICKUP/ITEM & BONUS PLACEMENT
There was Seeker ammo, Food, 1UPs and PUs (PU = Power-Up) everywhere you went. There were far too many Gems in this level. OVER 2000 could be found. The Bonus Area was very badly placed. There is a 100 Coin Warp to it, BUT you could get in WITHOUT the coins anyway by making a long jump over the wall at the top.
1/10
ENEMY PLACEMENT
There was too many enemies to be found here. They were badly placed and were not enough to kill the player.
1/10
OBSTACLES
Not very many at all. There were some Trigger Crates but all they did were make some useless blocks appear. Not even any Destruct/Buttstomp scenery was in this level.
1/10
SUMMARY
GOOD POINTS
*Background looks OK.
BAD POINTS
*Improper use of tiles.
*Bad placement of items and Bonus Area
*Too many Gems, items and PUs.
*Randomly placed tiles at far right of the level.

COMMENTS & ADVICE
*Spend more time when making a level. It can take about 2-4 weeks to make a perfect level.
*Think about the eyecandy. Try to make the level look nice and more pleasing to the eye. Don’t just randomly place tiles in one area.
*Don’t place too many Gems, Weapons and items in the level. This can make it too easy otherwise. Try to make it harder for the player to find new weapons and items.
*Don’t upload music already in JJ2.
@Benchmark: No problem! :) JCSRef may also be of some help to you. There was a How to JCS site but that’s gone.
Rating Electro Rabbit
To start:
The first episode created by Benchmark! Hurray! Hurray! But I’ll stop with my ‘hurray’, because this first episode is very bad.
Eyecandy: (20 pts)
Eyecandy is bad. Very bad. The paths are bad decorated and there are misleading secrets. The paths are bad created and it can even make you sick, but the worst part is on the right of the level.
Only the background is good, but that’s all.
Result: 6 pts
Gameplay: (20 pts)
Not good. This is especially a bad level for beginning JJ2-fans. The level is much too hard, even with all the bonuses. And it is also possible to fall out of the level. If you don’t know the cheats, there is nothing differently than restart the level.
But the worst is the (real!) coin warp. If you don’t find all of the coins, it is still possible to enter this area: you can go to a wall on the right of that room. So, the gameplay is very bad. I can’t give a point for this part. Sorry.
Result: 0 pts
Story: (10 pts)
There is no story. So this factor does not count for your final rating.
Result: N/A
Obstacle placement: (20 pts)
Very-very bad. Too many enemies and obstacles. Even the best JJ2-players will say: “This level is too hard to be a good level! I will go to www.jazz2online.com and I will give it a bad mark!” Only if you like challenges, this is maybe a fair level, but that is very improbable.
Result: 2 pts
Bonus placement: (10 pts)
Very bad! I am not joking; the bonus placement is very, very bad. I can’t give points for this part. There are too many bonuses: too much ammo and too many gems. But the worst is the 100-coin warp: too many bonuses for one warp AND you can enter it always, even if you don’t have all coins.
Result: 0 pts
Conclusion
This is a bad episode. Even the best JJ2-players will still have effort with this episode. And the bonuses are placed on bad and too many places.
I will give you a hint if you want to create another Single Player-level: download and play a good Single Player-episode (like The Rebirth of Evil) and maybe you can find some tips for your next episode: where should I hide bonuses and where should I put enemies? In advance success with your next episode.
