The following mixes do not completely work:
Ending
Colonius
Carrotus
Fastrack
Medivo
But the rest work and this is actually quite usefull for ripping samples, screwing uo songs and looking at other peoples work (Songs that are not origional JJ2 songs).
Now I need to find a way to convert my songs into j2b files. (Some of mine are about 8,000 KB and use over 90 samples)
How come only N/A comments are allowed??
But I would have reviewed:
OK eyeandy (Nice watery backround). But the level is hard and there is a lack of items. The music doesn’t completely suit the level but the tileset is nice.
RATING I WOULD HAVE GIVEN: 6.2
RANK: 6 OK
DOWNLOAD?: N/A (Yes requires 7)
It’s not castle 2…it’s an edited version of the tileset with textured background and rain and everything
I cant seem to fix this N/A thing so looks like you can’t rate my download :( At least that nice ol’ download button still works!
You don’t have to upload the tileset, because everyone has Castle 2.
“And you should replace the barrels with crates because they can cause lag.”
Just as well, *DO NOT DO THIS* because gun crates can crash a server and barrels quite can’t.
Rating The Mistery of Atlantis:
Story:
Good. There are a lot of details and there was to go in the library, find the gey and solve the problems caused by Devan. But there aren’t the characters those i’ve added to the tileset.
Rating:8
Eyecandy:
Good. You used the letters to write unfinished words and you used different colors. You have also used three tilesets. Atlantis with blocks, Mud with a lot of beautiful things (as the talking shark),and a warp in time with animated backgrounds.
Rating:8
Items:
There’s a lack of items. Try to count the standard TSF levels’s items quantity and add so many items.
Rating:6
Enemies:
There are a lot of enemies. I think it’s a bit too challenging.
Rating:6
Final Rating:7
Musics: Good, very good. I like the sounds.
+0.2
Final Rating: 7.2
Very nice level , Enig!! This level isn’t symmetric , but very balanced. The way you made this layout is very original.:)
For the eyecandy , I can’t say anything bad , since it all looked very cool. Now for the ammo….ehm…I think it’s all well placed , nothing to complain. There are 3 power-ups , all good visible and well placed. In this level there are 2 +1 carrots which you can get by using a spring , which is fun. There are no secrets in this level , everything is visible. That makes this level easy to learn and that’s a good point.
Conclusion : This level is really good and I’m happy to see more and more good levels coming up in this contest!
The “Normal” version of this pack was an attrocious exercise in futility, with terrible eyecandy, design, and event layout. In fact, the only thing it had going for it was the at-times funny, but mostly annoying intercom system esque text. This version axes that aspect completely, which means that the pack has to survive on it’s other “qualities”(if they can be called such).
The level design hasn’t changed much, however the pit now has exit-warps. In fact that’s most notable change. Every other change is the addition of enemies off the wazoo.
Instead of a normal sucky level, we now have an attrocious heap of filth that’s sure to destroy your spacebar (Winner’s Hint: Play as spaz and just sidekick/buttstomp to save on keyboards). Excellent. And by Excellent, I mean “Not Excellent”.
Finally, the Boss Arena is still bland, and instead of an incredibly easy lame boss battle with Bilsy, it’s just lame. Oh, and the Eyecandy is still lame has heck.
No DR. With no more intercom, and twice as many chances to kill a spacebar, I see no reason why anyone should download this version.
Its ok but i like songs with more powerful beats while this shows a slow beat.
the song is also slow.
so 5.5 from me :(
[Inappropiate (5.5) rating removal. Insufficient reasoning for rating. – FQuist]
I know some of those samples, the desert song from blades battle pack.
At first i thought oh no fear of darks slost his win streack, because it didn’t sound like funk or labrat at first, but then i hearld it was the labrat song,i hate the origanal labrat but i love (most) of its remixis.
and this one i love cos of the samples of the desert one and its funky beat.
9.5
Not as good as your last one.
Not as much eyecandy to.
I disagree DX i love those spings in gamplay.
As musti said this would be great for TB.Brige needs more eyecandy to.
ammo placement is great as well.
Try more harder on eyecandy next time.
The gargole bit has bad eyecandy on the bottom left take a look.
I have played this twice with people and the gamplay is quick.
sorry but no download rec.
I give this a 8.2 not as good as haunted gardons :( but still got a great theme to it. of gamplay.
[Rating your brother’s files (8.2) isn’t really fair, don’t you agree? ~Stijn]
man this is good, no words to describe.. like agood chocolate cake that you just can’t stop eatting. i really can“t say much accept what crimiclown said that it as all the element of labrat in the funkiest style that can be heard.
i damn recommand this download and fod’s other funk tunes, belive me it’s worth it
At about 1:25 inward, the song is too groovy for words.
However it takes a while to go faster, and to be honest actually feels slower than the other funk remixes.
However, the song is reconizable throughout which is something missing from the Hell Freezes Over remix, also you finally got the ending thing down-pat.
All I can say, is that with these groovy remixes, you deserve that week long holiday.
Starting Comments
Strange how I promise everyone to review, but don’t get any reviews on my levels myself… Hmm…
Gameplay: Excellent
This level would be considered the best so far in my list of J2WC entries. The level has a complex layout, yet easy to learn a quick route. There are several ‘detours’ you can take leading to only more and more ammo. More in ‘Eventing’.
Atmosphere: Good
The rainforest theme is overused, yet no challenge at all for the new LMAT tileset. Yax uses most available eyecandy, although sometimes in an annoying way. Instead of checking the level for blocking eyecandy, make someone else do it, because you know by heart where all the items and passages are. The music used in this level fits the action, although not completely supports the rainforest feeling. Still, it captures one of the most important feelings in this level: The action.
Eventing: Good
Fire’p some bacon, ‘cause I’m starvin’! The ammo placement in this level is really good. Nicely distributed, not at all scarce or too much, just enough for a one on one. The springs aren’t blocking in any way and really help you out. Oh yeah, just remembered. At the start of the level, you get smashed into a Bouncer PU. Nice start, must I say, as the player will not have to waste time on collecting ammo first, but can just rush at the other’s base and pick up something useful on the way.
Originality: Average
Although the tileset is new, the layout could use some more interesting aspects. The eyecandy is used in a clean way, but nothing too original, to be quite honest. Nonetheless, this tileset is brandnew and not really ‘intergrated’ into this community. Even I I guess everyone will have a difficult time using this tileset at the beginning, so I don’t blame you much.

Overall
Really, a terrific level with a few “I CAN’T SEE A THING!” eyecandy problems. This is easily fixed, so I’ll just rate it as such.

Play this with ambient lighting OFF , btw.
Hey Jam!
EYECANDY
Very bad, it’s not even that good. It’s irritating you.
GAMEPLAY
Alright it sucks no doubt. The springs are dumb. Try to make you’re next level better.
AMMO
Hmm, kind of good! Nice placed. But still the springs suck.
-3.5
Well, überquick review.
This got me. Awesome accoustic guitar, cool melody editing and \‘improvisations\’, amazing funky beat, fantastic background,
Things I don\‘t like: Stupid ending, feeling that you had to use all the melodies, even when not all fit. Too loud lead sample which doesn\‘t fit into overall funky style…
Anyway, great tune. Your best. DL strongly recommended.
TO JOSEPH COLLINS: NOBODY ASKS YOU FOR A REVIEW. SO IF YOU HAVE PROBLEM WITH TOO MANY TUNES AT ONCE, I ALLOW YOU TO NOT REVIEW MY ONES.
[Whoa, how did I miss this? Personal attack removal. ~cooba]
Eycandy
The eycandy was good in the house bit but not in the garden.
I liked how you seporated the garden from the house.you put put bricks and the ground in mixed together to start seporating, same as well as the ground.
The roof eyecandy was ok but bumpy, and a bit bad,you could go through the roof on one bit
Gameplay
Gameply is fun (get a lot of people on this level then you will see),you can camp at the top of the roof to :).
Bad thing is theres only one way to get into the house, you can take a warp to the top,i got hit by a camper tho .
good choice of the music and tilset tho.
Conlusion
has to be one of your best levels
to date. Il give this a 8.7
was going to be a 8.5.
I don’t feel like this is a must have thing so no download recommendation or no ,no download recommendation .
Keep up the good work.
[Rating your family’s uploads is not allowed to prevent biased reviews. Original rating: 8.7 ~Stijn)
I’ll make this review short:
I completely disagree (Except for the tileset) with musti. There was not a lot of eyecandy that gave the impression the level was ‘spooky’. Places felt empty. There was no exciting gameplay and there was a warp thet was put in a dodgy place. Good music and tileset choice though.
RATING: 4.3
RANK: 4 Not good

Brillant level jamster,I think it would be good for TB,because of the 4 castles.the eyecandy is good but not great, because there is not much eyecandy on the briges, the castle has plenty of eyecandy.to connect the castles you could of put sucker tubes.I like the middle castle because of all its power ups,and it has gtood eyecandy.
