This is great but just one problem, whenever I go to the 1st bonus level in Diamondus (Carrot Hills) and then go to the 2nd Bonus level in Lagunicus (Sea Water Caves) I get an error saying “Secret level cannot warp to another secret level.” Can this be fixed?
Also, I like the way the timer is used in the Bonus levels. How do you do that?
I can’t fix them until I know which ones don’t work. The Diamondus intro is fixed.
Can’t rate this at the moment as I haven’t finished it yet. I seem to keep getting a “Fatal Application Error” in the Sticks & Stones level.
Yes,indeed. It’s very usefull and if I forgot to turn Weapon Project on,I don’t have to bother. You made my/others life more comfortable ;D
Jeez… I might be a skilled level creator myself but- WHOA! I could never make something like this.
Lets all give Blade a rond of applause!!!
(Unsupported rating (9.5) removal. ~Violet)
Well these levels where pretty good. but i’m not going to rate them because half of them didn’t work, when they get fixed i’ll rate the levels.
Well these remixes where kind of hard to make a review about in a way…sort of.
Dreempipe Bonus
beat: it has a steady beat that stays steady, lol.Over all the beat it has is pretty good.
*The music:*pretty good not all that repetative( wich is good).
length: It’s kind of short, just when i thought a new part was coming in the song it abruptly ended.
score:7.0
Tubonus
beat: this one has a beat but it’s not as strong as it probly should be.
the music: sort of repetitive, it reapeats these not so nice sounding sounds.
length: the songs going going BAM! it’s over, i thought the song was going to be longer.
score:4.5
*total score:*5.75 rounded: 6
6= sort of good, i would try again.
What i think need improving: The beat in Tubonus. And the length in all of them, and try to make Tubonus less repetative in some parts (sometimes repeatinging is good, but sometimes it makes it sound worse).
I can’t find the music and tilesets for this level pack anywhere.

EDIT: It’s working now. Thanks for the tilesets Violet! :-)
Grytolle… This is better than I expected from you! The program is simple, but still very, very good for internet players, because its annoying, when you change weapon to new one every time you get new weapon… It have killed me many times. But the many instances thing… Can you join same server multiple times or make many own server or join all servers on list with different instances? When I tried the program, there was no servers up, so I couldnt try it…
But excellent work with this. 9+ = 9.2.
Theme – 4 out of 5
The theme of this particular tileset is apparently a dreamland. The way Birdie depicted the tileset is however much different than how Epic imagined it (as Jeh once said.) This tileset consists of sets of temples scattered over a cloudy landscape. While that may sound like something similar to Heaven, it’s the clouds which will take up the most part of the level (unlike Heaven’s clouds which are usable only as background layer eyecandy). Nothing much to complain in here.
Graphical Quality – 2 out of 5
This is where the tileset falls so prey that it burns. As it was said, the clouds will take up most of the level if one decides to use this. However, the clouds themselves have next to no additional eyecandy at all, and thus it will look very bland. The additional temple tiles possibly look a bit better and offer more variety than the clouds, but their background tiles still leave much space for improvement, in that they’re just a grid of two colored bricks. None of the additional content looks good enough (the JJ1-style Now Approaching screen, a badly dithered rainbow, and background clouds), so the tileset should’ve got 2 points on this part… if it wasn’t for the awful, awful palette. I have always been avidly opposed to randomly recoloring sprite palette indexes (and thus don’t like tilesets like Swamps too much), but this tileset is the peak of randomness. The red gradient has been turned into a yucky shade of green, which looks so ugly in combination with pink tiles, that words cannot describe that. The rest of the sprite indexes also gets affected (though not that much) and looks distracting. But, still, light pink and dark green. Blargh.
Edit: Now the tileset has been editd, the palette has been changed around and a waterfall has been added. However, call me a nitpicker, but the waterfall doesn’t work as it should (the last frame doesn’t match up to the first), and the palette change isn’t all that big. Why couldn’t you just give it the default palette? I’ll leave this as it is and give you the 6 anyway. This is because I’m nice.
Functionality – 4 out of 5
Dreamland’s functionality, on the contrary, is apparently well done. The mask is smooth, this is easy to use, and laid out fairly well. My only gripe is that sucker tubes could use a thin mask like Labrat’s tubes did, but that’s not too much of a problem anyway.
Event Compatibility – 3 out of 5
The poles all mostly work (aside from the Psych one). They all use similars shades of pink, which looks good in comparison to the rest of tileset, but if one had to use all of them in a level, it would appear monochrome (as if it doesn’t already…) and kind of amateurishly done. The textured background, while works well, clashes a bit with the rest of the tileset, in that it’s detailed as heck (while the rest of the set quite isn’t).
SummaryOverall
This set isn’t all that bad. It’s only a bit too pink (not as bad as one of Disguise’s tilesets though), and could use more detail. That’s all I have to say.
i agree with n00b for a part.
the level has a very bad eyecandy, wrong background etc. the music is nice, i realy have to say that. but when you say it’s getting dark, you should have a “set light” over there, but there wasn’t. your english is not that good by the way. But i appreciate
your hard work and ít’s not that bad for a second upload.

Wow Gry! This is excellent! I hate having to run loads of programs and an actual ASM patched exe is a lot nicer =D
Good job man!
I’ve heard a lot of Super Mario but never actually played it myself. So I don’t whether this pack has eyecandy like the origional or has almost the same gameplay. I’ll rate anyway:
INTRO:
Is just a basic intro level. You walk for a few seconds then bump into some characters and a text screen. The end is hiding in some tubes you walk into after. There is a secret full of items in the intro level to make in fun-ish. But those are the only items in the level.
RATING: 6.8
UNDERGROUND:
This level was a lot longer than any of the other levels in this pack. There was origional gameplay in this level but some ideas were pointless. There were coins you couldn’t pick up and some crates were positioned when you could have done with them earlier. There was eyecandy bugs in some places and there wasn’t really much to explore. You just stuck to a main path for most of the time. The level was also easy. There were extra lives in places too close to the main path that were not guarded in any way. The level takes you to an underground castle.
RATING: 6.4
CASTLE LEVEL:
Is very small and has very few items again. There is a huge gap between the amount of items and the amount of enemies. The level ends with a boss….a very easy one. All you do is jump over the boss and walk over to a switch. That opens a door which ends the pack.
RATING: 4.4
AVERAGE RATING: 5.9
BONUSSES:
MUSIC:
The origional Mushromm Kingdom music and Castle music used in Mario (I think) And a file i’m not sure where it came from. +0.2
TILESETS:
Mario conversions. One of them is good and that is the mushroom kingdom. +0.1
BONUS: 0.3
FINAL RATING: 6.2
RANK: 6 OK
DOWNLOAD: N/A (Yes requires 7)
FINAl COMMENT:
A reasonable Mario episode. Could have been longer.
Useless download, Ovelord’s Project Weapon has it in options.
EDIT: Useless download, Ovelord’s Project Weapon has it in options.
EDIT #2: Useless download, Ovelord’s Project Weapon has it in options.
Nice music =)
Bjarni: if you use a .j2b file for music, you aren’t required to type the .j2b extension behind the file, but if you want to use some other file type as music you have to type “music.s3m” or “music.it” in the level editor
(replace the word music with the name of the file)
I’m honoured Gry, love you forever <3
But seriously, this is an awesome “patch”, I immediately replaced my .exe :).
No more need for running extern programs, saves some trouble. Now, you should implement the seekhole fix feature in this .exe and I’ll give it a 10 :P.
This level is obviously inspired by the BULOTW winner, and is also par of a new wave of JJ2 levels. By new wave I mean “A kind of level-style I’ve done 3 times before that everyone is posering thanks to BULOTW”.
It’s a bad level that knows it’s only a bad level, and that it’s purpose. It’s entertaining because you know it’s just going to get worse.
While there are some dead giveaways this level is truly just a spoof of bad levels, it doe sget the feeling just right especially with it’s text messages that feel like a parody of a certain level that used the Medivo tileset.
Theres also various pointers that it was largely inspired by the latest winner of BULOTW (The sparkles in the BG are a dead giveaway)
Quite honestly, this level is terrible but is actually fun because of the humour factor.
6.7
DR?- Yes, but expect to only play it once.
please only rate for the idea. this is of course a little example, but it could be used in levels. please don’t rate the level.
is this a level????????
maybe you can make it bigger, because this is nothing. i appreciate your hard work, but this could better.
4.5(typed by gam-ie)
sorry about that one(this account is shared, its me and the other person).
i(codename gamie-x)like the idea very much,i`m going to use it in my next level to(don`t worry, you WILL get credit)i probly can`t rate it because i`m on the same account, bud i`ll upgrade the number to a 6.5(iff possibel (typed by gamie-x)
I don’t like it so much. It’s too slow, time by time a bit offtuned, it sounds emptily as hell. The rhythm doesn’t fit here in these samples. All “original” ideas are from Eggman’s tunes. I just didn’t enjoy.
