I rated it 10 for 3 reasons:
First: You are my best friend on J2O.
Second: You are a good level maker.
Third: You used MY tileset:-P
Greetings,
Gus.
(Unsupported/biased rating removal. The downloads FAQ states that you should “Try to be impartial and fair when rating levels”. ~Violet)
(To clarify more: You should not base your rating on how much you like a person and wether that person has used your tileset or not. These are not objective means of deciding how high the quality of a file is. – FQuist)
Ok, Fquist. I’ll do like you want.
I rate this level 8 because i think it’s a suitable rating for a level with so many enemies and with the robot boss at end.
[Inappropiate rating (8) removal. You have not provided a single reason why this is good. I can make a thousand enemies in a level that is worth an 1, and you’d rate it an 8? “Many enemies” is not a good reason. To be clear: I’m not saying this level is bad. You need to give good, clear reasons, and you’re not giving those in any of your reviews. – FQuist]
The J2O downloads section is probably not the best place for this. However, if you could turn these informations into the format of comprehensive articles, they might have a place at JCSref.
I think it’s a good time as any to tell you right in your face that the whole idea of JazzBusters is useless.
THAT’S A FACT JACK

Confirmed lots of times . This is of no use.
When I played the eg levels (single player first) I thought the tileset was great because of the animated tiles and how the tileset relates to the story (It really has a ‘factory’ feel to it).
I thought the eg level was not as great as you cound make this tileset. (The robots belt could be on the foreground prehaps)
Same with the battle.

The quickest review ever.
It’s typically high quality level, what else can you expect from Blacky.
Again. First thing you notice is abstract, simple, hillarious eyecandy. That rocks and I just don’t know where Blacky gets the ideas.
It’s one of the faster races, there is not many of hard obstructions. Also, you can memorize whole level in like second, third round of the game. It’s short race. The level itself is not much original, for that we have good gameplay reliance. As always, Blacky built in like milion of details.
Music is absolutely great, normally I never listen to level music, but this one rocks. It extremely fits to the level and it makes everything even more abstract. Grandious.
That’s all. Next time, be more original, make it longer and… You could make the best race ever. Download recommendation, you’ll like it. For sure.
Wee, it works!
Release 2 had some bugs, but got fixed in release 3. Daddy, look! I can convert Xmas6.j2b now.
Good job on this one.
Hey all!
Eyecandy
One woord: AWSOME! Keep this up dude! I like the background pipe’s in it.
Ammo
Well placed, mayby a little more.
Gameplay
Flow is good but it’s spaz based ( srry jazz ;< )

Hey my friend! :D
Eyecandy
There is enough eyecandy. I like the windows and stuff. Can’t really say more about it ;<
Ammo
Nice placed! Really, it fits with the flow! I like the part with the Springs =D
Gameplay
Awsome flow!! It think spaz can move easyer in the level, but that’s not a very big problem.
Overal: Nice level, big and it can be used in JDC?

Ok. Here’s a new rating. I rate it 8 because i think it’s better so. The story of the glacier is a good theme. I like this episode. It has many enemies and it has the water in the third level.
[Inappropiate rating (8) removal. Sooo… care to explain why it’s an 8? Please say what’s good and bad about this level – saying you “like” something and that it has “many enemies” and “water” is not good enough. A level can have a ton of enemies and be worth a 1. I’m not saying this episode is worth a 1, but you need to explain yourself. – FQuist]
Well, I will do.
Rating Eyecandy:
Ischa used most of the tileset eyecandy in all the levels.
8.

Rating Puzzles:

Musics used are good. Inserting the Summer Planet was cool. It’s a favourite J2O musics of mine. Though, it was better placed in other kinds of levels. Alarm is a good ambient sound. And the others were also placed well.

Not very good because tileset and level is not good i think
You can use better tileset for that level.
Then i think this level would be better
so 7.2 from me
Very good program but 3rd release had some bugs.
It cant convert medivo .j2b to .it.But sound is good
so 8.5 from me

Nice idea, but levels are too flat. There should be platforms, mountains… Jazz is platform game! “Compuet Voyager” has nice belts on top, and I think is most interesting and fun level. In Fan-tasic background (Achtergrund XD) is so psychodelic (cables to waterfall or what the heck is this).
But just like I saying, idea is good, but needs more work.
Yeah, this program is nice, yeah, this program is unuseful. And… Dr Eggman has already released source code for decoding J2Bs.
Good Points: Ok, this pack is generally good. The levels are well built, eyecandy was perfect. The difficulty was fine, the baddies fit in the tilesets.
Bad Points: The levels were well built, however there was lack of excitement. Some classical levels and overused tilesets, made the pack a bit boring. You should support the pack with an interesting story.
Overall: Let’s say a well made level pack with no excitement :) But still i recommend you to download
