This isn’t noice.
It is noise.

This is a nice horizontal level that is the only multiplayer-level that uses the “train”-concept, as far as I know. Although the concept isn’t actually much more than a visual theme, it also influenced the level design which should be interesting for many players since doesn’t let players dominate too easily by abusing vertical positions.
The concept is well executed and results in a level totally unlike anything else you’ll play this year. It can appeal to both casual players and “hardcore” JJ2ers alike. While this virtual version of monopoly doesn’t quite have the same staying power as the original board game, just the fact that it can be played online is enough of a niche. D/L!
The maps aren’t flawless, there are some tilebugs but overall I had a great experience.
“void yolo” … made me laugh
With so few tiles, I’m sure Obi could pull off much better art quality. I’m not even convinced this improves over the original Dreempipes. Basic ground looks cut off at the top. Inside corners for the metal background are missing and even the example level suffers from that. It’s still above average though, and palette rotation was a creative move.
Remaking SMB into JJ2 was a good idea, but you’ll need AngelScript to make a proper SMB remake/spinoff.
I can give you some tileset making lessons if you want.
While not a terrible effort overall, the level design feels like something straight out of 1998, which is unsurprising considering its origin. It has gameplay that’s reminiscent of the official levels, albeit with less polish.
I want to find TreyLina’s review a good review, but the button is missing.
Is there some kind of system to decide who can or cannot find reviews good or bad?
This is a true masterpiece of customization, unlike CrashLevel.
The only thing that bothers me is the tileset. I’m very picky about graphics.
This is barely an improvement. This is an improved version, but the level is still too short, and there are too many enemies.
And yes I downloaded and played all the single player levels I made during my childhood, couldn’t resist I was that curious. But one thing’s for sure I’ll take these bad levels as learning experience, to make better levels in the future.
Ok this is the final straw, I’m not downloading any more of my own past levels as they’re all fucking terrible.
This has the exact same problems as my other levels, too many enemies, and the boss battle is too easy as the seekers there keep responding.
Ugh, the levels I made were just painful. Since I wanna have a good time I won’t be reviewing any more of my levels or even downloading them.
I know giving this level the rating 10 might be a bit overboard, but this is truly a perfect level in my opinion, I see no issue with it.
It takes a long time to finish it, and the placement of the enemies is perfect, so is the eye candy, I loved fighting all these monsters.
My favorite part of the level is when I had to find a couple of crates to unlock the next crate, that was so fun.
I did check the original version, and not only is it not finished, it feels like it barely even started.
As for this level it’s beyond awesome, I love every aspect of it. I can’t think of anything negative to say.
I’m reviewing my own levels so I can learn from the pat.
First off I’m gonna tell you what I think of the title, remember with me? Remember with me? The title alone shows laziness, it’s nothing but a bunch of levels from previous levelpacks put into one.
Welcome to Garden:
You are given seekers right on the fly, which proves laziness. Instead of having seekers throughout the level there is one by the beginning. But the biggest problem is the level is far too short, it doesn’t even take a minute to finish it.
Marinated Rabbit:
There is nothing going on in this level, absolutely nothing. Just a few fish and some dialog about Hercules? He has nothing to do with Atlantica, I wish I could comment on the text, but the grammar is so horrendous that it’s incomprehensible.
Super Spaz Bros:
This looks like a Mario game, and I can give the level credit for that, but it’s still way too easy to beat, and the worst part is there is a warp to bonus level that goes nowhere. You should have removed that from the level when you made this pack.
Hell Demo:
There is no point to this except reaching the boss. But seriously, you expect me to beat two of them? That’s too much. And the eye candy isn’t even that good.
A Cold Day in Heck:
The placement of enemies here is massive. Far too massive, seriously there shouldn’t be that many enemies at the same point of the level. And it’s also far too short.
Pokemon World
I will give this level credit for one thing, at least the Pokémon look cool, and PokéDex entries are pretty cool as well. But the grammar in the PokéDex entries are horrible. Oh and that bug with the boss makes the level impossible to beat.
Overall this is terrible levelpack, I do think I need to review the other levels I made in the past as well. Reviewing own content might be bad, but I think it’s necessary if I’m learning from past mistakes, which I am intending to.
This consists of nothing but empty levels that only have bosses. I seriously gotta ask what’s the point of this?
There is nothing to do but fight boss monsters. No weapons, just the boss.
And not to mention the lazy level design is so unpleasing to look at.
This would have worked if there were any tips on how to beat the bosses. Then it’d be proper training, but no I don’t get any of that.
This is my first review since 2004, and probably the first PROPER review I make. Anyway, I will talk about the gameplay but first I’m gonna talk about the looks of the level.
It looks great, it looks exactly like the Carrot levels in the main game, which isn’t a problem I love that.
But now for the gameplay. In all three levels there are a lot of paths to choose. It’s not straight forward in fact if you go a different path, you get different items, which I find great. And each level take around 15 minutes to beat, which is reasonable.
And the third level is very hard, which is great since I love a good challenge and this level has that for sure. But there is one big problem I have, and this is a major one that needs to be addressed. Early on in the third level when going up, there is a chance you can get stuck in the wall. And it’s impossible to off the walls without cheating or loading a save stage. Which is a bad thing because I wanna play legitimately.
Another issue that I have is the fact that all the text was in Hungrian. And google translate didn’t help much as it gave improper grammar, not your fault, Google Translate is a bad program. But could you next time maybe make an English version as well?
Overall this level is pretty awesome, and you did a good job with it. These problems I mentioned might be major, but I still had a lot of fun with the level overall.
