Reupload it with the tilesets!!!!!
Thanatos can you tell me some more why you don`t really like it because this review is a little small and in my opinion underrated.
This is a good conversion. The example level is good too.
Eyecandy: Good.
Tileset: I think this is a good idea for a conversion.
Download reccomendation: If you liked JJ1.
(Unsupported rating removal. I shouldn’t need to go into too much detail, as this review is pretty much missing anything and everything. Original rating 9.0. Don’t rate example levels. ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
This is pretty good. The JJ1 tilesets in a CTF level make this truly unique.
But you guys forgot to use JJ1 diamondus and a few others. A very good CTF pack!
(Unsupported rating removal. They already said they didn’t use all of the thirty different JJ1 worlds. Anyway, what about the eyecandy? Gameplay? Placement? Design? Etc? ~Violet?)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
gulp First review for me…….
Anyway, the level is pretty good.
lots of ammo but too many RF’S (i don’t like RF’s). The eyecandy is good too.
Good job Satan.
Nice one satan.
Quick review
Eyecandy
Ther is good eyecandy. layer 5-6-7 ar good used.
BUT if somebody will convers censored he can
putt some Layer 4 eyecandy.
Anyway GOOD
Ammo/goodies/Other
Nice placed a deluxe coin warp. and nice ammo placed
i hope it will be hosted.
Gameplay/Bugs/Others
Nop. I like the level and its not Spazz based or jazz. so its good.
a great level satan.
Download reccommed: Yep
Host this: Yeah
here a 7.7
Nice j0b Satan
GAMEPLAY:
Gameplay here is very bad in my opinion. i don’t understand why there’s some ugly animated tiles in layer 4, which ruin the flow. layout is very bad too, blue teams base’s layout is rather mazelike while red teams base is easy to navigate. no more complaiments. work with gameplay next time. ;-)
EYECANDY:
Tileset was used right, but there still lot of tilebugs, and level looks quite dull, because it doesn’t use all the tiles. myself i would use everytile in a tileset. :p
its your choice though.
PLACEMENT:
Two +1 carrots and some powerups are there. btw, why there’s an ice PU? no one needs ice. placement needs work too, its unbalanced.

I didn’t listen to the MIDI before releasing it… I thought that it would sound like in Cubasis, but it did not… But now I’ve re-uploaded the file![This review has been edited by Delvour]
O i forgot i am in XLM again =P
That’s interesting that you got the acual music file from sonic 2. I went to site you put up and I can’t figure out how to get music file in a format suitable for jazz 2. Can you tell me how you did it?
Oh, man sorry, but I don’t like this MIDI conversation…
Samples: Some is good selection, but more is bad. The main melody’s piano instrument is ok, and the string (aka. luvhorn in the original mod) is good. The bass instrument starts at 1:03 is terrible. The drums are ok. The sound at 1:08 is way different than the original one too.
Structure: It’s bad. And if it’s bad it makes the whole song wrong. Sorry, but there are various reasons I say that. Like the main melody. It’s fall out of the rhythm! The string sometimes need to be play longer width.
Overall: If you fix the things I had wroten, it will be a nice midi, but sorry now I can give 4.0 by these reasons. Just don’t give up!
It sounds ok, yeah the tempo is off. But It’s one of my favorite songs! Good try though

Just in case you didn’t notice the text signs saying “(c) 2002”, most of these levels (if not all) where finished two years ago or so, but nobody wanted/were too lazy to put them together in a pack.
Blah. This song sounds bland. It sounds the original, but it doesn’t sound upbeat enough. Needs a better guitar.
Ah man, these midis are VERY good! They sound just like the originals, only midified. Some instruments should be louder than others so it sounds more accurate, but they’re great nonetheless.
I agree. The tempo’s a bit off, but it’s very good otherwise. It sounds like the original, but it could use some work. Nice first tune, though.

Midi’s are becoming the rage it seems. Midi’s everywhere! I guess I’m gonna review this to get it over with… I’m sure nobody will come after me ;p
Melody
Ok, how am I gonna say this? Melody’s complete, but one thing totally ruins the usefullness of this midi: the tempo is irregular. Lemme expand on that: the tempo of the different parts are out of whack: one part speeds up while another slows down. Result: a song that doesn’t know when to speed up or to slow down. Also, some parts come a tick too soon or late. Tip: Next time, pick a higher rate so there’s more room for more notes in a single second.
Instruments
(Just a quick reminder, I’m using the GS wavetable) That’s the only good thing about this song. Having the classic piano playing in the background (kinda like the original Crysilis, and yes, it’s spelled without an “h”) is a great touch, but the rest of them are fairly standard instruments, except for the tuba.
Verdict
Good idea, badly executed. Mainly the irregular tempo makes this song’s rating drop dramatically. I’d recommend if it didn’t have that problem. For now, it’s worth a lousy 5. If the tempo problem’s fixed: a 6.5 to a 7.

[edit: tempo problems are for the most part fixed, but some parts still sound off tempo: they either come a split-second too soon or too late. Their individual tempo are mostly regular tho. Given the tracker tried to fix, I’ll raise the rating a notch. Original rating: 5][This review has been edited by JelZe]
kinda funnie level very hard to play out bud jou have weapons in it to to frees jour enemy good job it realy earnd an 8.7 good job conrinou it that way!
(You know, most race levels actually have ice in them. Unsupported rating removal. What is good about this level? What is bad? What’s the eyecandy like? The gameplay? Is anything new or different? How many times would you play this before you got bored? Just a few things you could have discussed. Original rating 8.7. ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
Ok, here’s a set of… 17 midi’s! Of course there are a couple of doubles with different instruments. Just for your pleasure I’ll note down the songs made into midi’s and the amount:
- World Complete: 2 midi’s (a GM and XG version, whatever those may be)
- Candion: 2 midi’s (same thing as above)
- Exoticus/HH94 bonus stage: 2 midi’s (ditto)
- Pezrock: 1 midi
- Medivo: 7 midi’s (different versions of the seperate midi’s. Be warned tho, in GS one instrument may get stuck during the whole song in some of them)
- Tubelectric: 3 midi’s (different versions yet again)
TaZaR, did you download them from www.vgmusic.com? That’s where you can find the very same midi’s.
They don’t sound bad in the Microsoft GS Wavetable, some sound even good (Tubelectric rules!). If you’re gonna using them somehow, be aware that some have other midi drivers and therefore some midi’s will sound absolutely horrible in them.
