Let’s do tha review.
DESIGN
For fun? Nothing, the level is just some trash and why did you really want to put those skeletons and Devan Devil-boss into the level?
1/10
EYECANDY
You linked some tiles quite well even this tileset is quite complicated, but other layers than 4, 3, 5 and 8 aren’t used at all. Background is textured and made correctly but it should be faded with some other color or filled with stars. Some layout also looks a bit too simple or boring and you had problems with layers 5 and 3.
3/10
ORIGINALITY
Uhm, I think this is quite poor also because the level has the name: “Untitled”, it has no next level-setting neither music so this isn’t quite kind of original, you know. Tileset is Pyro’s edited Haunted-tileset but anyways the level is your made.
4/10
GAMEPLAY
What can I say, this is quite poor level. You still had a lot of space in your level which could all have been used and level is very easy, even the devan boss because you put there so many full-energies. The level is really short and there are lotsa dead ends. And there’s only one level.
2/10
STUFF PLACEMENT
Aaarghh! This is kinda bad. There were empty areas where weren’t pickups at all and then, a flock of seekers and the most is useless, this was a bit better with other guns. But you overused these seekers and you shouldn’t have put that amount of full-energies into the boss-arena. There ain’t no gems neither food also. There’s only skeletons which is quite boring to just shoot them as they walk there and walk here. Not that they were bad idea but there could have been different idea. Well this causes the filename of the level but it doesn’t affect in the design anyways, sorry.
3/10
+ OR – EXTRA POINTS
-1 A readme, but there ain’t enough text or properful information, etc.
-1 No difficulty-settings
-1 Lots of useless files in the pack
OVERALL: 10:5=2
LEVEL RANK: Very bad level
DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATION: No thanx!
ENDING COMMENTS
Seems that you’re new to J2O and you didn’t read the rules properly, but seems also that you haven’t used JCS very often as there were lots of bugs in the level and I even expect that you didn’t test the level before upload. You forgot to name the level, you forgot to choose the music into the level, you forgot to set the next level-setting which could have been a loop to the same level itself or a shortcut to the menu. At least this wasn’t overrated. No worry, you will learn to use JCS and J2O properly later then. :)

Great Tileset, lets see what i like about it:
1) Good eyecandy
2) Animations
3) Nice hell version
4) Music
5) Example level, unlike some tilesets!
6) Very few bugs
7) Great tiles
I cant say too much, but i am glad this is for 1.23! =D

NEVER RATE YOUR OWN LEVELS!!!
Not too bad, well apart from all of the disadvanages!!!!!:
1) Teribble Weapon Placement
2) Extremly short level
3) Bad Eyecandy
4) No gems or food
5) You can run away from devan’s battle
6) Too small for a boss arena!
7) Too many carrots
8) No animations
9) No level name, no next level, no music!
10) No different difficulties!
11) I don’t want to go on.
But heres a tip, make the levels longer, place pickups better, make a bit harder, well i’m not goin on, i give this a 2, though it doesnt deserve it.
My overall Rating: -1
+3 for my generosity!
Total: 2. =P[This review has been edited by sabaspaz]
I can’t see the level in the JCS because it’s password protected.
@Cooba…
Response from someone whose not an admin but is going to act like one for lack of anything better to do: As you might know, you get three warnings on J2O before being banned. You get one warning if you rate your own level. However, Violet doesn’t give out warnings. Only Trafton seems to. So Olsen can rate his or her own level four more times before waving farewell (he or she will be banned on the fourth time; more than likely temporarily. Very few users have been permenantly banned. The user who was permenantly banned most recently, to my knowledge, was Nick DC). I still don’t suggest rating your own levels in the first place. Even if you didn’t get a warning for it, it ruins your reputation.
I probably spelled permenantly wrong. I’m too lazy to go to Dictionary.com. If I spelled it wrong, please PM me ;P If I spelled it right, don’t.
expects to recieve 302489 PM’s
(Violet’s response: I have the power to give warnings (I.E. I am able to reply to a topic), but I usually don’t. Why? Warnings usually aren’t required. A simple PM without anything official usually does the job, unless the user is actively trying to get in trouble. ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
…I kind of miss having beta tested this, but it sounds like you didn’t bother to fix anything I pointed out anyway.
Great. Another unfair review by sonictth. Anyway, let’s start:
GAMEPLAY: The level’s gameplay is great. The platforms are placed so, that you don’t have to jump, but just fall on them. I liked the horizontal spring idea. This level has alot of warps, and float ups on places with small edges. This prevent you from jumping. This level has 4 tubes, and they help the flow. The level is playable with any character, and has an excellent layout. This level’s size is good, and the level doesn’t have minor problems in it.
Conclusion gameplay: This level’s gameplay is excellent. The platforms are placed how they need to be, and the level’s flow and layout are good. The horizontal spring idea was nice.
EYE CANDY/TILESET USE/LAYER USE: This level uses has one of the best eye candies in Diamondus levels ever. I loved it here. The level has not too many and not too less stuff in layer 4, and layer 5 has some cave tiles in it. Layer 3 has some secrets, and the layers 6 and 7 have backgrounds. The tileset use is very good, this shows how Diamondus needs to be used.
Conclusion eye candy/tileset use/layer use: The eye candy is great. Tileset use is very good and layer use is good too.
PICKUP PLACEMENT: the level has a good ammo placement, but most ammo can be get without jumping. There should be less ammo on the ground or in the air. This level has some crates, which is ok in battle. The level has 4 power-ups. Seeker, bouncy, rf and toaster. The placement of them is good, so no complaints. This level has some fast fire here and there, and the ammo is mostly placed in groups in 3 × 2. This is no big deal, but it would be better if it looked else(6 × 3 is fine). The level has ice, but it’s okay in battle, no big deal. There are 2 carrots, and they are both +1. This is good.
Conclusion pickup placement: G00d ammo placement, but probably too many on the ground in some places. Good pu placement and carrot placement, no complaints.
ORIGINALITY: Yeah, I know, this uses Diamondus, but that’s no problem. The music used is something that fits this level, the level’s tileset use is original, and there were many MP starts(around 10) and that’s original too. This level name is again good thinking.
Conclusion originality: original music and tileset use, alot of MP starts(original too)
Conclusion level: A nice battle level by LAbRatkiD, which is worth a download.
Final rating: 7.7
- DarkSonic of XSÐ, CC and XLM was here.
This level would be cool if it will be very first level for very first platform game ever. Unfortunately, it isn’t. It is a crap ripoff. If you are good in avoiding, you can do it for Devan in 26.2 sec., and then, show your 1337 skillz and defeat him in a crap arena where you really will need a carrot. If you are lucky enough, you’ll find a “secret” stash with ammo and then finish these skeletons off. Don’t you think that the seekers AREN’T needed? Anyway, placement of other stuff is also crap. Lots of skeletons, scarce ammo and then lots of Full NRGs in Devan area. Eyecandy also sucks, but at least you used a bit of layer 3. Oh well. Overall, this level is nothing but 0 with all of this not-so-c00l stuff. I feel so honest, causing a 10 rating fall to… lower. Kekekeke.
Rate your own level again and say goodbey to this place.
Hilarious!!1
What a overrating SabaSpaz.[This review has been edited by Cooba]
Its a good tile set. VERY good for your first one but I even after seeind all the example levels I still have a hard time figureing out how I could put a level together with it.
Eyecandy
Good. The feel looks like some sort of space station or perhaps space platfoms like what they have in starcraft. Just a bit to dark. Oh yeah and the earth in the back round is also cool.
Masks
No complaints here. I didn’t get stuck and it still looks good. I also liked the fore ground you had. I add a certin flavor
Animation
All good animations. Blinking lights, and fans. All the strentghen the fact that is orbiting earth.
overall
Good job. You earn a star :D
Wow an amazing level
Where should I start?
Eyecandy
All the tiles fit in so perfectly. I like the rocky ground looks and the back rounds are great
Masks
no mistakes here. Well done. Played several levels made in this tile set and I haven’t gotten stuck yet. Also some of the layer 4 backround is cool. I really like the picture of jazz and spazz you put on the walls. Great
Animations
just great I like the fire balls although traps like that can be hard to avoid.
Music
Cool song and a great choice for this tile set.
EX LVL
Good as well. I shows me how to use you tile set without being too hard and it has enough ammo to keep me armed.
Conclusion
Amazing I can’t wait to see your next work.
10.00 You’ve earned it.
…
Don’t rate your own levels.

IT Isn`t interesting what a Beta Tester Say. If you like the Name. Let it be there. The Level is Not Really Good because you have to run very far. a 6

LVL DESIGN, EYECANDY AND…STUFF
The lvl is design is simply CTF style, nothing other. It has some suckertubes, coins and hard to reach bases (took me very long to find the red base).
Also there is a big problem with eyecandy: In the background are platforms, the same platforms as on which you can walk, DON’T DO THIS. In CTF mode you have to be really fast, and if you then don’t know what’s solid and what belongs to the background scenery, it’s very bad. Also, I just don’t like the pallete of this tileset. And I agree with BlurredD, it gets weird to use a tileset converted for 1.23 in a TSF level.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is very hard, mostly because of that &$/$§(” background. But also the bases are hard to find (especially the red one). It just gets very hard to manouver around because of that eyecandy problem. There are some coins, but they are easy to get. In the coin warp is a seeker powerup and a full energy carrot.
AMMO AND OTHER WEAPONS STUFF
Ammo is ok placed, but I mostly don’t see it, because of that #%§!/ pallete change (not Dx’ fault).
TILESETS
The set used for this lvl is Haunted House lite edition by pyromanus. Well, at first there’s the weird thing of using a 1.23…bla bla..you know what I want to say.. and then I also just don’t like …bla bla bla bla bla (said all those things before)
USE OF TILESETS
Look on eyecandy
CONCLUSION
Maybe you will be very angry about me and slay me or something (you even are angry on me I think) but well, I don’t like this, so I’ll have to give a 6

HOST: No
LEVEL RANK: Little big above average

NOTES
Don’t want to see Dx crying..so here 6.0[This review has been edited by PHT]
It feels kind of wrong that a TSF level uses a tileset that was recently converted to 1.23 from TSF.
GAMEPLAY:
Aside from the confusing eye candy, the first thing I noticed was the missing borders at the top. No borders around the level mean flag bug whenever a player with the flag touches the edge. Flag bug is when “
EYE CANDY:
It was pretty confusing the second I started hosting this level. While the eye candy isn’t that bad, it’s rather distracting so it gets in the way of gameplay, which is more important in a level. In addition, a few more tiles with shadows on them should have been used.
CARROT AND AMMO PLACEMENT:
Even though the coins aren’t that hard to reach, I would like it more if the full energy carrot wasn’t in the coin warp room with the seeker powerup. The powerup placement isn’t bad as it is, but the ammo placement could be a little better in a few places.
HOST THIS OFTEN?
Nah. 6.2 is my rating.
