Hmmm, this had a high rating, and i thought this would be really good episode. ok, let’s see was it really.
DESIGN
I didn’t see any texts during the game, but that doesn’t yet matter very much. These also seemed to be for fun, but there’s a destination to get to Bilsy and kill him. Well I can give it a 6
6/10
EYECANDY
Eyecandy was good and there’s quite alot about it. Background also seemed to be quite custom, so well done!
But, I saw quite much eyecandy-bugs in levels. Like minimum 2 bugs in each level, so this is only 8. So, next time watch that, which tiles are you placing and where.
8/10
ORIGINALITY
Basic musics, tilesets and own made levels. Good! 8 again.
8/10
GAMEPLAY
Huh? Short? No, I don’t think so. This episode wasn’t huge but levels were enough long, so it was nice to play :D. But it’s rather too easy.
8/10
PICKUP AND ENEMY PLACEMENT
Hmmm, I agree some with labratkid that Food should be included in some easier places. Enemy placement is good.
7/10

ENDING COMMENTS:
Yea, this didn’t seem to be overrated, but I just didn’t like about this level so much than the others did. I saw so many eyecandy bugs, and it’s so easy, too much carrots, etc. Well, 7.5 is anyway a good rating. You also, remember my reminds, like watch which tile are you placing and where. Nice job!

Eyecandy – Okay / good.
The eyecandy is good… there should be diamonds, though. Take some extra time to put them in. The waterfalls are kind of ugly, IMO. And there’s NO BACKGROUND!!!! Put layer 7’s. You don’t even take my advice in these reviews, do you?
Gameplay – Good
Good gameplay. It’s a bit Spaz biased, because he can jump out of the spike pit, and all. It’s also much easier for Spaz to win.
Enemies – Good
Pretty nice placement… a decent challenge.
Overall – Good
Download – Sure.
Replay – No.
Someone, can you tell us the bad thing? Reviews are usually done to tell the bad things, not the good things. And, you did overrate, kind of =P

Master Cheater, if you average your two ratings together, it comes to about 5.7. Not 8.2.[This review has been edited by labratkid][This review has been edited by labratkid]
What was layers six and seven used for?[This review has been edited by labratkid]
Let me rephrase this – put MOUNTAINS in the back of your level. Put trees and stuff. Look at the background in capture3.j2l. THAT’s a background.[This review has been edited by labratkid]
Well… I don’t see actually Eyecandy.. My brain thinks that Eyecandy is only supposed to be in the other layers…
But.. Here goes:
Level:
Well the level is pretty basic… Also good and don’t use bees cause they’re ANNOYING also with the generators
Rating: 5.5 (cause of the generatable bees)
Eyecandy: Hmm… Good, just probably something cool could’ve been used in the background
Rating: 6.0
so then
Rating: 8.2
(Extremely odd rating removal. I fail to see how you got 8.2 out of 5.5 and 6.0. Feel free to re-rate this upload. ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]

(Fraudulent rating removal. -Trafton)[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Okay, you all say this tileset has bad palace tiles and stuff and bla bla bla.
Well, time to review >)
I recently finished a level with this tileset and I must say: it does not really matter that the palace tiles have no texture. It would only look annoying, especially if you are someone who places tons of eyecandy in his levels like me. The genies may look useless, but they are very useful when used in combination with the food stalls. I easily created something that looked like a crowded market with it.
The sand looks very great, but has one major drawback. It has only one “inside” tile, meaning the ground will look quite monotonous when you create big bodies of sand. Oh well, you can place small platforms inside it. The water looks RUX.
Background scenery looks rather cool. The sand mountains are almost photo-quality (maybe a bit exaggerated), and the textured background is leet. I wouldn’t use the palace-blocks-with-thin-borders as layer 6 or 7 eyecandy (as in the example level) but rather as level 5 eyecandy (in the meaning of “sprite background layer”), if you understand me (probably not, harrrr). The music for the example level really sucks, at least it doesn’t fit, I would rather use that ZARASATHURASTA by DRAX music or how it’s called. Whatever, I’m rating the tileset, not the level. The fire sprites by mirrow have been re-used once again. The small fire looks better than the big one. I like the curtains, altough they could use some more shading like FQuist mentioned. The throne is usable too, but it’s too bad you HAVE to include the “super saiyin” sign with it or it won’t look good.
To sum it up: the graphical quality of this set is not as good as we wanted, but that is taken away by the HUGE amount of possibilites this set offers. A lot of different landscapes can be built with this set, from a crowded market to an empty desert. h00ray for the hotel heroes! This tileset truly deserves a 9.0.
BTW: My HERO!
Another level with the word “foo” in it. Let’s all rejoice.
GAMEPLAY:
The base placement reminds me of Moree Mines. Hmmm… Moving on, flow and balance aren’t much of an issue with the layout. The main problem is simply the size. It’s way too small in my opinion. Some might say this could make a good level for duels, but I would have to disagree. While this level does allow some strategy to be used, the gameplay will be most likely completely chaotic. I could also say that the layout was probably made over a short time, which is never a good thing to be said. Another thing is the start positions which need to be fixed; when I was blue, I started right next to the red base a few times.
EYE CANDY:
The eye candy is a little better here than in all of LRK’s levels. I don’t know if that’s saying much. The tileset still looks rather restricting, so any eye candy is good eye candy. My computer is slowed down a bit by the translucent BG and the lighting, but I can use Hardware Acceleration (lucky me).
CARROT AND AMMO PLACEMENT:
In the middle of the level there’s a full energy carrot—decent, perhaps. Ammo placement is good enough but rather dull. The ammo also isn’t exactly balanced on each side (seekers vs. bouncers?). And from what I can tell, there are no powerups. I don’t know what to think about no powerups in this level, but either way, gameplay will be chaotic.
HOST THIS OFTEN?
Probably not. Chaos is not a good thing. I’m thinking 6.
Good. Finally! JCS for JJ1!!! I cant rate too high, the events arent labled and all that other blah. But its OK, and it works.(Really wants events labeled, also wonderz if its possible to make a JJ1 Windows Source Port, Run JJ1 in windows)
It works: 7.5
You can get jj1 tiles in the blocks.bmp
(NICE!): 8
E.E.: 8.5
Overall: 8/10
[This review has been edited by Ñîçk ÐR]
All though this is extremely small, and has limited eyecandy (my fault for not putting in enough eyecandy tiles), it’s actually really fun to play, which is why I’m not going to rate it lower. The gameplay is surprisingly good for a level of it’s size; all though the ammo placement is nothing great. Make your levels bigger, and you’ll recieve much higher ratings. The bases are placed nice, like DX said, and it’s original.
Download: If you’re not picky.
Host this: Probably not.
small! 85-40, why is is so small, the rest is good ( exept th eyecandy, its not very much). the ammo and goodies placed is fine.
1-good ammo placed+goodies
2-small
3-bad eyecandy
4-good bases placed
5-nice tileset choosen ( great tileset labratkid :P)
the rest is okey, i won’t rate high becose its not SUPER :P
a 7.2 from me! well done snooz.
Ps:i am waiting for yor next SP pack.
I am not going to rate it because this music is for the Unreal episode but the music is cool!!!
Well here is my review!!!
Eyecandy:
Okay!!! No tilebugs and more layers are yust nothing more to say.
Enemy placement:
Fine!!! This time not to bad placed but why is it not good let me tell ya
- Only 2 kinds of enemy`s.
-after a suckertube you will get dropped on a doggy dog that hurts.
That was the only 2 problems with the enemy placement.
Item placement:
Good!!! enough food not to many enough ammo not to many and no gems but i didn`t missed the gems.
Other:
Okay!!! The level lengthe is a little bit to short. The music fits in the level but wat i did`t like is the boss because it is so strange and i could not beat it. And where you fight the boss the area is to small next time a
place to fight the boss.
It`s not bad but also not good here a ()7.2()
Satan!
Good LVL’s, Cooba!
But in the rocket-base(LVL 4) with warp B there is no ‘warp target’!
-GOOD enemy placemend
-GREAT item/carrot/weapon placemend
GOOD eyecandy(Also that frame is great!)
-EASY
-BUGS:’(
I give an 6.7!

well, here’s my review
EXAMPLE LEVEL: Planet In Outerspace
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The example level isn’t really good I think
That’s because it is way too short. You are in a room, can go into a small sucker tube, collect some bouncers and hang on a vine.
That’s all you can do here. Snooz, make longer example levels and put in things like enemies, items and other things.
PROS: nothing great to mention
CONS: too small, no enemies/items used
RATING: 2.0
TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tileset use was good, the level uses all tiles and the eyecandy was aczeptable. Also, I saw no tilebugs.
PROS: no bugs, aczeptable eyecandy, all tiles used
CONS: “only” aczeptable eyecandy, no foreground
RATING: 6.5
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
There was some regenerating bouncer ammo, that’s all. Items? Enemies? No one
PROS: nothing great to mention
CONS: no items/enemies
RATING: 2.0
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
Doesn’t matter because it’s an example level

Sorry I made something with my left hand (don’t really know what). Alltough I can’t really use it or it will hurt. ;-(
Because of that I don’t feel like writing a long review for the tileset.
TILESET: Planet In Outerspace
The tileset is cool, alltough a bit small. The tiles fit together and there is a text. background. Bad point is that there isn’t much sprite layer eyecandy. Overall a good tileset, only too small and too less eyecandy things. For new level makers this tileset maybe has enough tiles. I feel like giving this a 6.2. So here you have it.

Cooba’s new episode. Hmm…what could I say? I don’t know ;p
Here’s My Review
LEVEL 1: Grilled Carrot
In the first level you find yourself trapped in fire, fire and nothing other than fire. You have to find the secret way to the earlong castle…
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay mainly consisted of puzzle elements, mostly finding crates.
There weren’t very much enemies, maybe they all got burned ;-P. The level isn’t very long, but has some medium difficulty puzzles. Also there are some things should be made better. At one place there are three stones and a spring crate. Cooba says the stones are only there for decoration. I thought you must do something with them and “rolled” (sry I don’t know an other word :->) them over the place where you have to go in (hope you know what I mean my english is bad) and I saw no way how to finish the puzzle. Luckily Cooba helped me out (thx). At the end there was another hard “layer finding” puzzle, that let me think on one at N.I.P. (Nothing In Particular Pack). Overall the gameplay was ok, alltough the level was way too short.
PROS: level consists of puzzles (not the same shoot enemies thing like in much other levels)
CONS: some of the puzzle elements were done before, too short level, too less enemies
RATING: 5.5
TILESET/TILESET USE:
Cooba used a mixture of Carrotus and Darn Nation, so he could make a burnin’ Carrotus. The eyecandy was a bit sparse, also the lava thingys all around are very confusing. I think the level could use more back and foreground eyecandy, especially layers 3 and 5.
PROS: no tilebugs
CONS: lava thingys all around, eyecandy was a bit sparse
RATING: 5.5
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
There wasn’t much ammo, but because this is more a puzzle oriented level, you won’t need more. The item placement was ok, alltough instead of cakes froots would be better. Enemie placement was ok, there weren’t much enemies, but like I said before, this is more a puzzle oriented level
PROS: enough ammo, ok enemie placement (for this level)
CONS: maybe too less action for some, little food
RATING: 7.0
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
Hmm…replay value is ok, alltough there could be some more interesting puzzles than find the crate or find the layer hidden crate. Fun Factor is good for those who likes finding the crate puzzles, and bad for those who like shooting the enemies levels. I think a mixture of action would be a bit better, so both sorts of players (actionoriented and puzzleoriented players) would have fun on this level.
Originality is a bit better than in monkey lab. the puzzle at the end where you have to find the secret ways was done before in N.I.P. and Ddash2.
PROS: good fun factor for puzzle oriented players
CONS: bad fun factor for action oriented players
RATING: 5.5
OVERALL (not an average):
Overall this is an ok puzzle level, not more, not less. The puzzles could have been a bit more original and I think there is too less action :-B
PROS: ok puzzles, not the same shooting thingy as in many other levels
CONS: too short, too less action
FINAL RATING: 6.7

LEVEL 2: Earlong Castle
I don’t feel like writing a long review for level 2, because my left hand hurts.
In level 2 you are in the Earlong castle. That’s very irritating because the player doesn’t know why he has to go into Earlong Castle. Story tells that Carrotus is burnin’ and you have to stop this but what do you want in the castle then?
Confusing
The level itself is a bit longer than the last and has a bit more action. There are sadly some bugs like at the end. Poor boss/spring placement. You go on a green spring and activate a Tuf. But the spring takes you to less high. That lets you use a live. Also there is a robot sticking in tje wall
!? There are several more bugs but I won’t list them here.
Eyecandy is more standard. Like in level 1 there are some blocks in layer 1 making the screen smaller. Why did you do this Cooba? I don’t know. Alltough the eyecandy is also very confusing because there is textured bg in the foreground. You can do better I think, Cooba.
Good thing was weapon placement. Not to less, also not too much. There were also some items that were good placed. After a place where you easily can get hurt mostly there is a carrot. Well done. Enemie placement was ok, alltough on some places a bit overdone.
The fun factor is pushed down by some surprise death thingys. DON’T DO THAT. It isn’t fun to see spikes and a bridge over it and then die because the bridge belongs to the background scenery. Originality? Hmm…..maybe a bit alltough the spike thingy (where you have to fly) was done before.
Overall the level isn’t really good. Eyecandy is bad (sorry) and the level is too short. Also a bad music is choosen (that one from Hocus Pocus). The level has also several bugs. Cooba, test your levels before you upload them, that means play through them yourself or let someone betatest.
FINAL RATING: 5.5
At the moment I stick in level 3 because there is a big bug. If you touched the water event and then die, the water stays and you can’t destroy
some blocks if you haven’t got TNT.
I won’t rate the other levels because my left hand isn’t very useable because in school I had my hand in a wrong position and now it hurts if I use it. My final rating is a 5.4 rounded of to a 5.2. Would be a 6.4 but because of that bug in level 3 I will take of -1 point ;-p
sorry no download reccomendation.
PHT[This review has been edited by PHT]
hmm can u make a add-on with the new listserver
Ok… Here goes something… I’ll start with this one:
‘Unreal Crypt’
This music is ok, very good and is not as strange as i probably thought. Nothing too bad there, the sound of some acient drums thing in the background is sure good, very long and real good
Rating: 8.0
‘Shared Dig’
Hmm… Well this is almost the same as Unreal Crypt, plus the drums things are still in the background. There is a piano/space guitar like sound in there, it’s ok…… Wait… I heard this…
Rating: 8.0
‘Hub 3’
Hmm….. At the start… It’s like too quiet, but it starts then a couple of seconds later.. Quite strange if you ask me, i have no intention of flaming, but this song is strange, but good nonetheless…
Rating: 7.5
‘Chizra’
Ahh….. I think i quite mistaked this one for the first one at the top… But here’s the on-topic part:
It’s good, it uses a flute and also some parts that i recgonize, very good for a castle like theme or for a Jungle Theme (probably gonna be used in World Desolation). So i can that this is just as good as the first two.
Rating: 8.0
Bugs, Problems, Bad stuff: None
Final Score: 9.7
