I hope my pack will be finishd soon and ‘‘YES’‘ ther ar long long levels!
Wow, it works! It should get 10, nice work![This review has been edited by the real one Bjarni]
Finally Dx made a new level. I’m happy that his PC works now, because he is one of the guys who review my levels
;->
Allthough this is a single level with Snooz’ new tileset. It’s in space and has no story, but anyways it’s fun to play. Seems that all of Dx’ levels contain that CTF dying thingy.
Well, here’s my review:
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay was a bit better than in Dx’ last levels, it has some original ideas and, finally, food and ammo.
The level was all around good designed, only a bit short. Also there is a totally new boss. It acts like a bolly, but is all around a really cool.
PROS: NEW BOSS, good food and ammo plcmnt
CONS: short, weird enemy placement sometimes (dogs in space?)
RATING: 7.0
TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tileset Dx’ used was like mentioned before the new one from Snooz. It’s a good tileset I think, allthough the background is a bit irritating.
DX USE MORE THAN LAYERS 3, 4, 5 AND 8!!
The eyecandy wasn’t really great, but ok. I saw no tilebugs and all in all it’s akceptable (hope I spelled this word right)
PROS: no tilebugs, cool tileset
CONS: no use of layers 1, 2, 6 and 7, not really amazing eyecandy
RATING: 6.0
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
The weapon placement was good, alltough the RF’s aren’t really usable. Also this time the item placement was good.
A bit weard was the enemy placement.
What are dogs doing in space???
Also at the suckertubes you get “sucked” into enemies, that isn’t good. The boss was great, I think I know how Dx made this, but I won’t tell it to you ;p
PROS: great boss, good item placement
CONS: weird enemy placement
RATING: 8.0
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
The replay value is ok, I think. It mostly consists of the boss, that is really cool. Also the fun factor was ok, allthough the part with the CTF pits, where a bit hard and not so much fun. The originality gets a bit boost because of the boss and also the maze was new.
RATING: 6.0
OVERALL (not an average):
Overall this is an ok level, allthough it’s a bit short and the enemy placement/eyecandy isn’t very good.
I’m looking forward to ya pack DX. In ya new temple episode make longer levels than this.
PROS: COOL BOSS, good food/ammo placement
CONS: short, not really great eyecandy/enemie placement

By the way, i CANT play DOOMA![This review has been edited by dx dc]
Some of this tileset is decent. Most of it is rather bad.
The masking sucks, and the textured background doesn’t work properly. The good thing is that most tiles go together. The bad thing is that most of it is just rather ugly. There isn’t much eyecandy, either; it’d be impossible to make a really nice looking level with this set, especially with the textured background not working and the background not looking good when it’s just tiled normally. As for the rest of the stuff, I don’t see poles, vines, hooks, belts, etc. All I see are spikes and blocks.
I’m not in the mood to write a long review.
Download reccomendation: Not really, no.
Build with this: I wouldn’t. It’s TSF, anyway.
i am building with THIS tileset!
GREAT!
a 7 from me
i will releas it soon!

Snooz, it’s great! It has sucker tubes, vines/poles, background eyecandy and textured background!
All right, let’s present the cons:
-too small. Anybody can’t make long levels with small tilesets.
-no interactive stuff like bustable blocks, buttons and else.
-no eyecandy stuff for layer 4. Player can make green tiles transluced, but it’s too little.
Overall: -sucker tubes = 0.5 p. -vines/poles = 0.5 p. -BG eyecandy = 1 p. -size = -2 p :P -interactive/eyecandy things = -0.5 p.
7 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 1 – 2 – 0.5 = 6.5I can’t run this because I need DLL’s (which are not included). Can u tell me where to get them?
Although it does have very good gameplay (levels quite long too) it has pretty bad eyecandy. It’s not bad at all, but you should focus a little more on the background and other layers. Good job.
It was a very good level pack. Eyecandy was fairly good, but the Lake level looked pretty ugly with the background. The last level just seemed a little rushed.
It’s pretty original, and has a fairly good story line. I had quite a lot of fun playing these levels.
I give it an 8. Excellent job.
Wow, those levels must’ve taken a lot of time and effort to make. Great eyecandy, good tileset use, an almost perfect level pack. However, I find the diamondus level seemed to crowded.
Nice job, I highly recommend you to download this. 8.5 from me. :)
It’s a pretty censored good level pack. But there was just way, way, way, too much food and other pickups, especially in the carrottus level. Tilesets were interestingly used, but there were a few parts which looked a little odd. Good job. :)
7.5 from me.
These levels are censored hard. All of them were pretty good, but I kinda disliked the last one. I’m not a fan of space tilesets.
If I could rate this level (if it wasn’t a demo) it would easily get a rating well over 8.
I know some stuff and I got some help, but I dont feel like editing my php.ini, not to mention you have to modify php.ini-dist and rename it to php.ini and copy it over to windows :). Anyway, that was just with my version. I think its good someone tried to make something that others could use…Not like me of course, im a greedy person as usual. But I guess this is the only one which shows character colors and stuff. Its neat how this analyzes almost every single packet transferred when player information is received (its like the 4th packet upon connection FYI). Overall, I’d say that this is not too shabby, just be sure you know what you’re doing. (I havent tested this on my server). Good job Cataphract.
