This level’s okay. It doesn’t seem like it would’ve take 6 hours, because it’s so small. It looks like it took one or two hours at the most. I like the ambient lighting; good job with that. Make your levels bigger, and I’ll rate higher. Like I said for Adam’s level, no download reccomendation, but I don’t reccomend not downloading it, either. In other words, download it if you want, but if you don’t, you’re not missing out on anything really awesome.
Sorry, but upload this again with listing on the home cooked levels list and I will download it. I wasn’t able to play coz’ that thing with that drag you written doesn’t work. No rating and no download recommendation.
PHT
It’s way too small. The sprite layer eyecandy is decent, but there is nothing much in the background, and the tiles in layer 8 do not align. The enemy placement isn’t too bad, but it’s too easy. There aren’t enough enemies. Again, I’ll say, it’s way, way too small. Spend more time on your levels. No download reccomendation. If this were bigger, I might give around a 6.5, which is above average.
DX and Snooz overrate things, and Inf. Spaz underrates things. I suppose I should even things out. This level is kind of cramped. It doesn’t flow all that well, and it can be hard to navigate through with easy. The eyecandy is okay. It’s original, though. You put richochets on the trees, and your explanation to me was, “it’s a special species of trees.” There is also snow in the jungle, which looks neat when proper lighting is used. Kind of weird, but, neat. No big download reccomendation, but I don’t reccomend not downloading this, either.
This is not really a remix. It just speeds it up and changes the instruments. I could do this in less than 5 minutes. It hurts my ears, it’s too high…. it’s just annoying. No download reccomendation.
OW i got a headache from that 0_o! And plus you need to spell better, spaz. I can barly understand you.
I dont know how to rate this….
…o_O
This remix certainly fits its name: it’s quite chaotic. Dreempipes, sped up, with nearly every instrument changed to the Tubelectric synth/horn thing. It normally repeats halfway through, but if you don’t repeat, you get to hear SQUEAKY VOICE^_^
Well, I have no idea what to rate this.
I don’t lick remixes. Ignoring the fact that you hope we lick remixes AND worms, what is this a remix of?
I could never find that level, nor a sound clip of the music for it, so, no rating.[This review has been edited by labratkid]
LOL, Radium ;p
Now, for the review. I don’t see what this level has to do with worms, first of all. The level tries to mix ground force elements and battle elements together, but overall, it fails. It’s an interesting concept, but what happens when you run out of blocks if you don’t host this in splitscreen? It’d be annoying to have to restart. The eyecandy isn’t much, but I suppose it’s probably the best anyone (besides someone who’s great with eyecandy, like BlurredD or Evilmike, etc.) could do with this basic set. No real download reccomendation.[This review has been edited by labratkid]
Licking worms is bad.
this is a survivor level not really a battle. It is a bit small for a survivor. But no rating
Wow! cool level! here is the review:
Tileset use:average / good
Eyecandy:average / good
Gameplay:bad
Ammo placement:ok
Fun factor:good
overall:average / good
Yeah, i think this was good or average level. download recommedation if you collect battle levels.
Final rating:7.2
soo WHAT IS THeFATLE ERORR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is an interesting, but small, Inferno level.
Eyecandy: The eyecandy is sparse, and not actually that good in places where it exists. Often times the tiles don’t fit, or a tile is missing. The fire at the bottom, is ugly, you should only have 1 row. Try to use as many different types of tiles as possible, and make sure the tiles fit together without looking blocky.
Gameplay: This plays mostly like a normal Single Player level. It’s pretty straightforward, with no backtracking, triggers, tubes, etc. There isn’t anything special about this level, really, except for the boss. The queen boss is exceptionally annoying, with that long path. The bricks appear from nowhere; you need a ceiling of some sort. The music doesn’t fit very well with the queen boss, IMO. The endlevel on the snowman idea was strange, and I don’t think it really should be there.
Event placement:
This is good. The enemies are placed sparsely, as opposed to in huge groups as some level creators make them. The item placement is pretty good, but the double ice crates at the beginning are strange. The 1-up is a bit easy to get to, and could do with a bit more difficulty.
Overall:
besides the obvious eyecandy bugs and queen boss, this is actually a pretty good level. A 6.5 from me. Keep making levels, I hope to see what you make in the future!
This level is average, maybe even good, but definantly not a tip worthy thing. The layout feels fairly random and ammo is sparse in some spots, while jam packed in others. The coin warp is hidden, and the carrots are also very close. The eyecandy is just enough to make it not boring, but its not beutiful.
Pros:
Not a bad level
Cons:
Not a perfect level
Overall:5.5 (Dead average)
Btw: The snow annoies me.
Edit: The carrots are very close together. It’s easy to get 2 hearts very quickly.[This review has been edited by Inf. Spaz]
