Yes, this is pretty cool, but I don’t think it deserves a 10/10.. There are other cool Jazz2 programs out there. I mean, come on, it’s useful, but it doesn’t deserve a 10. Nice work Alberto.
Snooz’s overall rating: 4.5
The rating Snooz gave: 5.5
Hideous! ;p
Don’t make mazes. They are dumb, easy, boring, and show no skill whatsoever, and DX all ways reviews them and says “dis maze is good!!!!!!!!!!!” and gives him high ratings. I naturally give all levels like this low ratings, no matter who tricky there are.
Here i go again……….. :p
Single player levels:
SINGL.J2L

The idea for your level, labratkid, is neat. However, you could hide coins a little better. And, WINNER, there is a way to finish the level without cheating. But i won’t tell. Cause if I tell you, it will break enthuziazm in other players(correct me, if I typed the word “enthuziazm” wrong, Trafton AT :) )

I wouldn’t exactly call this a LARGE race, but it’s a decent level =) It reminds me of my race level at times. I also made a race level with Death Metal, that is sort of similar, but not really.
This level would be better with some ice and TNT in it (I believe that you should only put TNT and ice in your levels if they are race or treasure hunt levels). This is not Spaz biased, either, which is a good thing ;p Maybe a little too many springs… I feel that Jazz is being bounced around too much here.
Original: 7.0
Too small : -.3
No ammo : -.2
yeaH! dis race, i like dis whan. but that thing with tho’s red springs ( up ) i hate that.
This is about as average as they get.
Eyecandy – Okay
The eyecandy is very boring, and looks like it was rushed… why not make a level with Skulg’s amazing Death Metal tileset? I love that one =) You can make amazing levels with it.
Gameplay: Bad
The gameplay is rather bad, and the springs get you way too high and all some times.
Since those are probably the two most important aspects of race levels, I’ll leave it like that.
The worst thing about this level is that you can only host it in splitscreen race mode or the buggy XJJ2 race mode (or the buggy JazzForce race mode). Look at the Foo Races levels and how they use trigger scenery to make it so you can host it in treasure hunt mode.
This is an other I believe, its a protest about the person not liking how jj2 has so many custom tilesets. It shows his bias and should be viewed that way. Anyhow in my opinion I see nothing wrong with having loads of tilesets in jj2. It just means that people can make better levels. Without the mezz tilesets for example I can think of absoultely tons of levels that couldn’t have been made in the same way at all. So if you ask me custom tilesets are good for the jj2 community and they help us to expand and to seek out new things to do .
1.2. You can’t give this the same rating as Volrad’s Cool Treasure Jungle; this is ten times better than that.
DX gave this an 5. He didn’t know what assault was, and didn’t realize that when people are in a hurry to get their rushed work uploaded, they tend to forget to take the type off of assault. So, anyway, assault is when you try to reach a goal. This is not assault. It’s supposed to accomplish something and explain it, but I still can’t understand what this below average level has to proof. I wouldn’t call it a GOOD example of a jungle level, but it’s not too bad. 5.2 it is. And, DX, please don’t write in those hideously fiendish and ugly big HTML based letters, because… it’s annoying =p
12 hours.. hmmm…. I don’t know about that.
Pros
The eyecandy isn’t atrocious.
I’ve seen worse.
Cons
Bad eyecandy
Bad gameplay
Bad weapons placement
I can tell that you’re a beginner. If you make a level and you don’t think it’s good, don’t upload it. Have people test the level first.
One more question… do you, by any chance, have autism? You act and talk and make levels that remind me of Bjarni… In some cases Danyjel (but his levels aren’t like yours).
Don’t make an episode, because all it does is mess up people’s games if they have too many… if your levels are worth it, like, for example, VioletCLM’s Hocus Pocus levels were, than do it… but I doubt it will be worth it.
