Well, yes, I tested this. :) But I really like it, for the most part, because it is it challenging, and that is rare in SP.

Argg, I wrote a long review on this but then my computer screwed up and I had to start all over. Ill try to remember what I put in the review.

MUSIC CHOICE:
At first I didnt like the music, but then it got good, it fairly fit the level.

TILESET/TILESET USE/EYECANDY
The tileset choice was great, the level used Violets new Scraparap conversion. I personally like the conversion and the planet, and was hoping for a level made by it. the tileset use is great, a great deal of tiles were used. You can see many different tiles in the walls, backround etc. Eyecandy was just great. The backround was nicely done, and there was a lot of backround eyecandy (including the wires and blue walls) and it was very detailed. Not only that, but you can see eyecandy everywhere, even in the walls and stuff.
Pros: Everything is great
Cons: I can’t think of any

GAMEPLAY/LAYOut:
The gameplay here was alright. though there were many pits here,the spring placement made up for that. I also thought some area’s are quite open, but I dont mind that. Layout wasnicely done and balanced. Easy to travel around. Though there was only one route to each of the bases (though 2 escape routes) and it may lead to people guarding it, but this goes for many levels.
Pros: Balanced layout, good spring placement.
Cons: No major ones

PLACEMENT OF STuFF:
Firstly, there was one carrot here, a full energy, which is good since the level isnt that big. The full energy isplaced in the middle of the level and easily accesible from both bases. There are 2 powerups here, a pepper and a seeker. The pepper wansnt really needed, but I dont mind it. The seeker is probably placed in the best position (bottom middle, where most people wont go if the seeker wasnt there) and its also easily accesible by both bases. The bases are placed fairly and well, and it takes a fair amount of time to travel from one to the other. The ammo is placed interestingly and imagitivingly. I quite liked it.
Pros: Mostly everything is well placed.
Cons: Nothing that spectacular, except the creativity maybe.

REPLAY:
The level is quite fun to play, especially if you like the tileset.
Pros: Fun to play for some people
Cons: May not be as fun for others.
Rating: 7.5

OVERALL (not an average):
Since the level is balanced, has good ammo placement and good gameplay, I quite like this one. It looks nice and plays well.
Pros: Looks great, plays great
Cons: Some minor things I didnt like
Rating: 8.2

FINAL RATING: Its actually 8.1 something but its rounded to an 8.2. I quite like this level and reccomend you to download it.

I think you did a great job, FoDie! Everything seems to flow really well. :) I didn’t feel stuck anywhere. Umm I don’t know how to write a review really. But I would be proud if I could make a lvl like this. So an 8 it is! Excellent. n.n Download now..or else. ;P

Trafton mentioned that since it was so easy to just go up, no one would explore the rest of the level. That’s why I did that.

Are testers allowed to rate levels? Ah, can’t see why not.
They may get mad at me, because I said I’d give it 7.2. Unfortunately, it has changed since then. It is now impossible to approach the red base from the top, making the level a bit imbalanced.

The tileset is used flawlessly. The eyecandy is neither bland nor cluttered.
The music fits it well. It made me look at Diamondus differently.

This level is quite small, and as such is well suited to uncrowded servers and split-screen matches. In other words, good for every server I happen to join, Anniversary Bash excluded.

The level is smooth to play. The ammo and powerup placement is good. The food is a bit of a distraction.

It’s worth a download. Look and see if you like it. What more can I say?

I like this, but mostly just the music. Violet’s battle with this tileset was also fun. :)

Weapon placement is good, I don’t see any tileset errors, good music. ;)

Host often? If you like the tileset/level, then yeah!

Oh just thank you Violet. First you made the best Candion tileset with totally new tile order, and changing tileset in one of DD levels was a nightmare. Now, this is your second tileset with new tile order – and heck, I have a Scraparap level in DD too. Just my luck. :)

Anyway, just another great conversion of you. Keep it up… if I’ll manage to stay alive. ;)

I tested the level about an hour ago, and it’s a good one.

GAMEPLAY:

This level is filled with action.
Usually I don’t like diamondus levels,
but this is a big level and it doesn’t get boring. There are almost no long paths. There’s a small story in the level too, about stealing something.

EYECANDY:

There are a lot of shining diamonds in the wall. Nice, nice, nice….
The author also added tiles to improve the eyecandy (for example: trees, grass and dark parts). Good eyecandy.

ENEMIES:

There are enough enemies in this level.
Not too much… good enough.
There are some enemies that don’t belong in this tileset, but the demons and the skeleton are part of the “story”. The boss (Bubba) is easy to defeat, but in hard mode you have to fight two Bubba’s at the same time.

PICKUPS:

There’s some food and some weapons.
I think there’s enough food, but in the first part of the level you won’t get much ammo. Maybe you could add some more and different weapons/ammo.

SECRETS:

Most of these secrets are hard to find, some are easy. That’s good.
But some secrets (like finding the ammo for weapon 5) are really hard to find.
Maybe you could add a flower somewhere close to it, or something.

REPLAY VALUE:

I might play this level again.
It has some good jokes :P

OVERALL (not average):

GAMEPLAY: 8
EYECANDY: 7.5
ENEMIES: 8.5
PICKUPS: 7
SECRETS: 8

DIFFICULTY:

This level is not too easy, not too difficult. I could play it without cheating! So the difficulty is:
medium.

This is a good level, but in the first part you don’t get much ammo.
The level does not get boring because of the eyecandy and the cool jokes.
Download recommended!

Actually a cool level.

Tileset use: perfect. I didn’t see any bugs.

Layout: good layout. This level has an interresting gameplay.

Events: weapon placement was just fine, but nothing exeptionnal.

Eyecandy: a little above average. Some parts could use a bit more though.

Overall: good level, worth a download. I give it 7.5.

I think I saw these levels a lot already on the net, but I think the ratings it has got so far(exept the one Cracco wanted to give) are a bit high. That’s just my point of view.

First level: actually, this one has a boring layout, and a bland weapon placement. Apart of that, it’s a good level.

Second level: it’s a good thing this one’s around too, since I would have given a much lower rating for only the first level. Not that it would have seriously dammaged the average rating…Anyways. This level has an interressting layout, and an average weapon placement. The eyecandy is good. The level is actually just average, but I’m giving a higher rating because of the fact I like it a lot.

I reccomend a download to everybody, since it’s good for a server, even though these levels are just average.

A 6.7 from me.

To Cracco: you know Cracco, I think this is one of those cases I also had, where it’s just a matter of taste. Some people like this kind of levels, others don’t. Appearantly, you don’t, and me and the others do. They’re not friends or anything.

This review is worthless, there’s no description in it. And when I have opend the file there’s an error, check that out and make it for me please. Then I will edit my review.

I won’t rate it, it’s just too boring.
I like the Diamondus titleset, yeah when there’s eyecandy in it, here’s just no eyecandy.
You only can stand on a NON-EYECANDY platform and shooting bad guys. Not interesting and when you play it over and over again you’ll proberly fall asleep because there’s no real gameplay and stuff. Spend more time in your levels, make them bigger, put more eyecandy in it. And practise makes perfection. :)

No download reccomend.

Tileset use: I saw a few bugs, but nothing terrible.

Events: weapon placement was good enough, there was a bonus warp.

Layout: fair enough.

Eyecandy: not good. There wasn’t anything special, or so.

Overall: a little below average level, not worth a download. Sorry.

The gameplay is sort of good.
In the eyecandy I found some bugs, too bad…
Gems don’t affect battle levels, you can just leave that out.
Some generators come back to quickly, 5 seconds or so.

This level is quit interesting. I think you are a beginner aren’t you because this is only your 3rd level. Well, very good then, I will raise my 5.2 wath I have in mind to an 6.2. :)

I made OVC if anyone cares. Keep in mind that this pack has a modified version of the one used in JDC. The level is also on J2O, listed as “Team Battle.”

But I have to admit, I don’t see these problems like you do. I think it has a layout you could have fun with, as long as you had friends playing with you. It may be a little small, but so was Violet’s Scrapap example battle level.

Yeah, but my point was that is was an OK battle level all the same. Thanks for the encouragement! It’s more then I got from most people. Looking over it again, I saw some blending problems.

I do think that most of my castle tiles fit together now, and I changed layer 8 to look better, and I got rid of layer 5 because it didn’t look good. I changed some layout, and I hope you will re-review.
