Ok, everything is good except the background and all thise Bees! A single player level should not have that many monsters because you want people to come back and continue there game but if they can’t Get past the baddies they tend to quit! And there should be more to this “Single player” level. Like a series of them a pack if you will. Well try harder on the things i picked at and sonn the level ratings will be 9’s and possible 10’s!
Good Job anyhoo!
This is a very good level, i seem to be attracted to this pinball style level. I really can’t belive this is your first level because the detail and eyecandy are superbe! Well good luck on your next level!!
It’s nice that you would try to make a tileset but it’s not nice to RIP almost all of it! A tileset should be your own work of art not someone elses! And Please add a example level to you next tileset or just make one and reload it! Go to Disguise’s new site and get some tips off of it because you need two!
Woow!!
its Verry cool.
You Draw that with your hand..
Thats looks cool
what the (****)!
the half of the tiles in the tileset are stolen!!
…………~!!!
Well, well, well. This level pack is not so bad that you others see it, but it could be much better. There’s much of levels but they’re could be done better, and when you get to the second zone, levels begin to replay themselves. When you finish the one level of the second zone, it cames back to the zone 1, and then replays continuosly those three levels, that bug should be fixed. And what is this “splot save sonic land folk and destroy robotnik”? You should have more information of the level pack, and better design.
Level’s eyecandy is o.k. but, it doesn’t need very much skill to make levels made of sonic tilesets, but I don’t rate this because you’re my friend. Practice![This review has been edited by Superjazz]
Okay we have some random Orbitus mix. Let’s have a look at it.
Nice mix. Really.
The tune is just a bit upgraded original Orbitus. Samples are mostly original, nothing much to tell about them… No new parts (just some melody upgrades), same tempo.
So what makes this tune remix? Generally, it’s one new sample, one bit offtuned, but grandiously sounding sample. There’s some magic… That offtunity makes this remix really pretty. I think that sample has to be offtuned always…
(+) It reminds something… Just get remembered what…
(-) Maybe original… It’s from 75 % same as that.
So here we have next normal, average mix. Download if you have nothing to do or if you are downloading all jjmixes just because their “jjity”… In opposite case, don’t.
If you’ve ever wanted to see different red blocks from various JJ2 tilesets, well…then download this. Frankly, this tileset is entirely a rip and thus the rating is severely downgraded. Next time do your own work. Since I’m too lazy, I’ll steal Violet’s list:
The spikes from Exoticus, the spikes from Deserto, H and V JJ2 poles, a ripped background, a series of red blocks with poor tile placement (but one animation), the hook from Labrat the textured background from Psych2, a set of background mountains from Aztec, the plants from Aztec, some of the tileset’s red blocks, with JJ1 arrows on them, various exit signs, the laser, warp and belt from Mez02, the shiny stuff from Castle, the rope from Labrat, the sparkly animation from Carrotus, a series of various ripped block tiles, the beehive from several tilesets, some stereotypical blocks, a yellow circle, a box like thing, and a lot of black tiles.
Now, not all of this tileset is one color, but much of it is in fact red. I suppose a rip would have been slightly more excusable if the masking was even average. But this masking is awful. I got stuck countless times. Oh, yes, and I had to make my own level to get stuck in since this download provides none. Next time, please make your own tileset instead of ripping from others.
+ PROS: It’s diverse for a rip.
- CONS: Still a rip. Bad masking.
VERDICT: Some effort probably went into this, but I doubt there was much. Overall, I give this a 1.7 and no download recommendation. Next time, please take your time and make your own blocks. You probably will see better ratings if so.
(old review removed, replaced with new system)
THEME: This tileset apparently takes place in a world of red blocks. Now, this could be done semi-nicely, with big red floating blocks of different shades and colors. But alas, the author didn’t do that. So while the theme’s ok, execution of it is not.
Pros: I’m not sure..
Cons: Unoriginal idea, poor execution.
Rating: 1.0
GRAPHICS: After some thinking, I have decided to only rate the graphics of tiles that the author created. The majority of tiles in the tileset are ripped from other sources (see list at bottom of review), and look much better then the original tiles, which consist of those common fittogethereasy tiles from, say, Blasteria. There’s also an animation for it.
Pros: A little shading, an animation.
Cons: Nothing special, almost all graphics ripped.
Rating: 2.0
INVENTORY: Basic walls, spikes, vine, poles, hook, blocks, arrows, exit signs, belt.
Pros: Most everything is there.
Cons: All of it except the basic walls is ripped, and masking is poor on some of them. (these two cons lower masking rating dramatically)
Rating: 2.0
ORIGINALITY: I give up.. how do you call a practically all ripped tileset original? Even the theme is unoriginal.
Pros: There’s actually a block which says it can be destroyed by either Bouncy or Toaster. While this couldn’t be true, it IS original.
Cons: Said block couldn’t work.
Rating: 1.0
COMPETITION: If you like colored block tilesets, there are lots of better ones out there. If you like ripped tilesets, download “Space under/below (forgot which) Carrotus” by Norbii.
(No pros given)
(No cons given)
(No rating given)
EASE OF USE: Actually fairly easy to use.
Pros: The tiles fit together well, there’s a few interesting tiles
Cons: You’ll have to use layers 3/5/6 quite a bit, as otherwise you’ll run into the inherent masking troubles.
Rating: 6.0
MASKING: While what should be solid is solid, a bit too much is solid, such as parts of the spikes, and the beehive tile, and some other stuff.
Pros: Much of the masking is right.
Cons: What isn’t right is hideously wrong.
Rating: 3.0
OVERALL (not an average): This tileset has a few good points, but it’s not worth it.
Pros: Wide variety of tiles.
Cons: I won’t say “it exists”, but it’s not very good.
Rating: 1.7
List of ripped tiles: The spikes from Exoticus, the spikes from Deserto, H and V JJ2 poles, a ripped background, a series of red blocks with poor tile placement (but one animation), the hook from Labrat the textured background from Psych2, a set of background mountains from Aztec, the plants from Aztec, some of the tileset’s red blocks, with JJ1 arrows on them, various exit signs, the laser, warp and belt from Mez02, the shiny stuff from Castle, the rope from Labrat, the sparkly animation from Carrotus, a series of various ripped block tiles, the beehive from several tilesets, some stereotypical blocks, a yellow circle, a box like thing, and a lot of black tiles.[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
First review. Whatever.
EDIT: let me give a warning- this tileset has no example level!
This tileset looks like it’s almost completely ripped. The poles, the spikes, the backgrounds, the destruct blocks, etc. In fact, I’m not even sure if the red blocks part (which is extremely boring) was even made by the author of this tileset.
No download reccomendation.
Let me say one thing to the creator of this tileset, and that is:
ripped tilesets aren’t winners. Put more effort into your tilesets, and they will get better.[This review has been edited by AcId]
I think this is great, I think it was kewl that someone would make a “german” form of JCS. Like what if the German player didn’t speak any english? this would be great for someone like that. This is a good oppertunity for someone to learn german lol well good job!

This level pack is not really what it can be. It is like a pontless RPG that has faild. But at least you gave some of it thought. What is the point of the spiked bottem pits? thats like a multiplayer jail for a hotel.. and that makes me not want to play it.. Sorry well have fun making more packs!
Nice titleset, that Carrotus isn’t it?
O, yeah right over the level.
GAMEPLAY:
With the gameplay is nothing wrong, it is rather funny. You have too bump with the pinball platform and the paddles too win coins!
ITEMS:
Enouf carrots, theres nothing too in tell in this point.
EYECANDY: Realy bad, in the cave almost no grass, the platform are not well, there are things like carrots boards and the foregroundlayer is used well. The background also, only it misses a castle and a this with a waterfall and a tree.
AMMO:
Normal, there are enouf weapon crates and the ammo is good over the level. Only at one point, in a cave, I say a weapon crate, I thaugt I will destroy it. When I sooted it, then is bumping out 15 other crates! A little too much.
And also the bonus stuff is also a little too much, I think, there are 2 bonus places, one with a few power ups and a fire shield. In the other place you have, let me see, oh yeah a blaster power up and 6 fast fire, a weapon 9 power up a weapon 8 power up and a fire shield! I think thats a little too much.
GOOD OR NOT TOO PLAY WITH 4 OR MORE PLAYERS?
When I play it with 4 ore more players, it will be a little difficlut too pinball if all the players in the same room. And also when you won the pinball game, you think, there is my reward! And then another player gets it bevore you. There is enouf ammo for all those players, though. I think the maximum players for this level is 20, not more.
OVERALL:
When I played it it’s not get boring and thats a good point. Only a bit too much ammo, but thats a + point when you play it for example with 16 ore more players. As I said before the pinball stuff is funny.
I want too give it an 7 but that eyecandy is realy bad! And that is a very – point. Next time you must have more pations and spent more time on the eyecandy, and I now, thats very hard! In overall only download it, as Trafton AT also said, only download for battle freaks, otherwise the download is not reccomd.
This is really enjoyable and hard to play. I somehow managed to pass the levels without losing all my lives. Anyway this kicks and is the best ive ever played. Keep up the good work.

Amazingly good CTF level, recomended download
I just cansay the same!
very hard to play, MANY Things doesn`t work and there are much tile errors,
sorry but this is bad.
+ PROS: A good, solid level.
- CONS: Black Ninja bothers me to review things, so he must be troutslapped a lot. The level looks and feels strange in parts.
VERDICT: A 7 overall and a download recommendation for battle freaks. This is a fun play, though you should look elsewhere for serious battles. It’s good, solid, and quirky. And that makes it a fun battle level with a pretty low replay value. Still, it’s fun the first few times. Battle freaks will like this.
This level is…well…certainally interesting. It reminds me of what would probably be regarded as a solid battle level in the summer of ’99 when chat rooms and the consequences of abusing their rules were accepted due to the lack of any static IP addresses. By the standards of these days, however, this level is not as good. It does show promise, with some creative use of one way and sucker tubes, but it just feels so strange at some points it’s not very good and so bland at some points it’s not very good. The chat room is quite evil. It has the rule that anyone who is caught sidekicking (!!!) is banned (!!!). There is a 10-point coin warp that requires going out of your way and into the aggrevating pinball rooms in order to collect sufficient loot to enter the prize. The flow of this level is OK for a battle level, and the layout was strange but acceptable. The eyecandy, however, was not so good. The layer 5 objects were used strangely and just didn’t look right. Overall, this is a very slightly above average battle level that would have been great in 1999. But this isn’t 1999.
+ PROS: Acceptable gameplay, some interesting but too-weird things.
- CONS: Strange layer 5 background use, bad use of pinballs, dialup-era banning rules.
VERDICT: A 5.5 and no download recommendation except for nostolgia and battle freaks. It’s an alright level that suffers from what could have been prevented if more time was spent on making this level look right. It does, however, show a lot of effort, and that deserves recognition. Keep working on levels, since this definitely shows some degree of promise. Some day you’ll probably be very good.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
This all feels increadibly rushed, and obviously is. There was a huge amount of bugs in this level which included non-working trigger zones, incorrect settings, the list goes on. The text file contains the following text:
“Splot save sonic land folk and destroy robotnik.”
Not only does this sound like it was from Babelfish, that is possibly the worst waste of a readme file I have seen to date. This upload shows both a complete lack of effort and lack of skill. While this usually improves with time, it will not improve if you never put any work into your levels. I would recommend that you spend a few days of 3 hour sessions or so in JCS before you decide to produce anything major. Still, it shows some promise (you know how to use trigger zones, after all, and the eyecandy and gameplay are not as bad as they possibly could be.) Then again, that’s not much consolaton. Also, do not play this level with Jazz. He is simply unable to play it. I’m sorry, but this level both lacks quality and effort. Please spend more times on your levels.
+ PROS: None.
- CONS: Buggy, bad plotline, ugly.
VERDICT: This level, which shows absolutely no effort in it, is not of acceptable quality for even a first level. I give it a two and no download recommendation. Expect more ratings like this unless you spend more time on your levels and beta test them more thoroughly.
