Great work. And thanks to you I found the secret on turtemple 2.
Nice work, though the cat platforms on the first level were annoying, but never mind.
I have to say, that this is by far your best work. It was a really long level and not as easy as your previous ones (at least in hard difficulty). Also even if their part wasn’t too long Jazz and Spaz had a different starting position. Also I noticed several places where paths split up so I had to play the level a few times to see everything which added a bit to the replay value. Enemies were well placed and they also fitted in the level. I was quite surprised that the coin warp was at around 20% of the level but whatever, this wasn’t really about the coins. I found a lot of secrets (though I think there were only 1 or 2 warp secrets. Ammo choice was quite good too. They really helped in some situations and of course at the boss fight. I think the spiky part was quite a good idea where you had to explore 4 paths to get the trigger crate to move on. Also there were places which you could only access with Jazz or Spaz. Eye candy was good enough to make you satisfied. The exoticus track went quite well with the level though i think the original is better. I think i only found 3 power ups which is actually enough for this level. I think there were enough carrots and save points for the level though i sometimes felt that the carrots were placed inappropriately that is when i had full health i kept running into health and when i needed it I found some rarer (though this may differ from player to player). Also I felt you put too many enemies in the boss arena. It was quite a small place which made the fight a bit hard. But that’s all, and what’s more I didn’t find glitches in the level which is very good. So all together this level is a good experience.
Download certainly recommended.
Awesome!!! My favourite… :-) nice details, nice background and nice to play in this scenery…
It was really good idea to made this tileset and i try to create my own levels from this one :-)
Sorry to say but i can’t give a higher rating. You’ll have to learn how to use the tileset first, because like this the level is quite ugly. Also using one of the harder tilesets isn’t a good idea if haven’t really made levels before. Also i kept getting hit by something invisible.
“Kids don’t try this at home” is all i can recommend.
I have to say it’s a fun level to play the tileset is very good. I like it.
I played the level and have to say it’s quite good. It’s quite long for a demo but I don’t mind that if the level is good. I don’t think i found glitches in the level which is another good thing about it and the spike part looked really good. Honestly i really like the carottus music so I definitely can’t say the using the original music was a bad idea. You also know how to use the tileset which is really important if you want the level to look good. There were also quite a few secrets which is another good point. So i have to say this is worth downloading.
I’ll have to mention the bad things as well though:
1, I know there is no bouncer wall in the tileset but that’s what the sign posts are for
2. Not that i started searching for it but i didn’t find the coin warp, normally they aren’t placed somewhere where you don’t go if the follow the level path
3, That tower or whatever it was had enemies in it which couldn’t really be killed without being hit
4, after the tower part the level still goes on for quite a while but there aren’t any carrots until the boss fight
Apart from these the level was really good.
Not too bad, though bees and rocks are not a good combination. Also putting a warp right after the coin warp area is not a too good idea. I didn’t find any saving points either which would be rather important on a level with bees. All together it’s a solid level.

Not only was this fun to play but it also moved me. You have great creative powers and I think you’re also quite smart. Great piece of art or whatever. Good work.
Well, not the best level I’ve played. Though I have to mention that it has some good ideas and parts, though it lacks ammo and health. Flamethrower was good against the bugs but wasn’t really helpful at the boss fight. Also I don’t think Devan was the appropriate boss for the level.
Even though I wouldn’t recommend the downloading of this level, I can’t tell you not to try it as well. It isn’t that bad just lacks certain things that would make it a better level.
Thanks for the review Bloody_Body. I remember spending quite a lot of time with this level. It took quite long, since I only had time every day after school. I believe I was trying to make a really big and long level with a lot of secrets splitting paths to add to the replay value. I wasn’t too good with the eye candy when making it, but after Loon’s review I added some to make the tileset a little less boring also repairing the mentioned bugs and flaws.
Anyway, glad you liked it. Maybe I’ll make some new levels in the future. I just haven’t had time since finishing secondary school.
I have to say these are very good levels. While playing I felt like I was on the original levels. They have very good music especially the first level, good eyecandy and you deal well with the tilesets. I even found a bonus level which reminds me of the JJ1 bonus level (no enemies, can’t die, full of goodies). Also i found a great amount of secrets (probably there are even more that i didn’t find). The medivo level was a bit short and weird but whatever (kinda reminded me of medivo 2 from JJ1). Difficulty: not too hard not too easy. I don’t remember dieing but my health definitely went to 1 a few times. It’s a must try for JJ2 single player fans.
Download definitely recommended.
hi i have problems with file “tsf.town3.3j2l readin it doesnt read it keeps throwing me out of the game
Download definitely recommended. It’s a nice level with very good music. I really enjoyed it.
Thx to Treya for finding the excellent soundtrack :(
