Yeah,
Nice Levels Trough
AWSUM Design.
Spider Swamp is a nice decent level by Defalcon, it has a nice ammo placement, I’m not sure if there’s a carrot there’s able to grap, but I found one I coudln’t get.
The eyecandy is over-rused, its hard figure out the mask, it may take you up to 10 minuts figure it out.
I had to set on low detail for get the mask, and the level aren’t so great on low detail.
The bouncher powerup isen’t hard to get, but there aren’t any one way so you quickly could jump up after taking it, may be a disadvantage if somebody hunts you.
There’s a few springs there could have been placed better, and as you say, Spaz has an advantage, you should balance the level so its fair between the 2 guys.
You should include the password in your readme, makes it more easy for the reviewer get a view over your level.
Download recommed.
Ehh… I haven’t done this in a while. Oh well, here goes again. Spider Swamps is a meduim-sized battle level fit for almost anyone that enjoys battles. Sorry for the unoriginal idea, I’m tired right now. Anyway, let’s get started.
Eyecandy: “Spider Swamps” uses Agama’s newest tileset, which most of you should already know. I was quite impressed with the eyecandy used in this level. Defalcon made an effort to use as much eyecandy in different varities as he could. Layer 8, I can’t say much about. It’s perfect really, no flaws there. Layer 4 and 5 is amazing. The use of backround leaves throughout the level creates a realistic jungle affect. Not only leaves, but things like spider webs and platforms has also been used to improve the eyecandy. Use of layer 3 was great also. Again, he used much variety in this backround and foreground work. I can’t say anything negative about this portion of my review. Gameplay: Though I didn’t bother to test the level with Jazz, I already know what his capibilities would be in this level. It’s quite Jazz friendly in most areas, although some spots require some effort to get from place to place. Other than that, I noticed one other minor problem. I noticed a few areas that seemed to need springs. It’s not something to worry about, though. The spring placement was pretty good. To make the gameplay more interesting, Defalcon added many curves and twists throughout the level. I noticed the top of the level was still a bit too flat for my likings. BOO TO YOU FOR NOT LISTENING! ;P Anyway, other than that I had no problem with the gameplay. I have to say, that this level isn’t nearly as confusing as his last level, thank goodness. Weapons/Placement: What else can I say besides… almost perfect? The placement of the ammo was just perfect, in my opinion. Not everything is rectangular, again it has variety of different shapes and sizes. There wasn’t a lack, or too much ammo either. I found it was just right for that size of a level. The powerups were placed well, too. The only mistake I found was at the seeker powerup room. Though the secret was well placed (thanks to me ;P) Defalcon forgot to add the destruct event that blocks all weapons from getting through to those seekers. Other than that, the weapons/placement was A-OK. Overall, I give this level an 8. I was struggling to decide to either a 7.7 or an 8, but I know Defalcon worked hard on this, and it deserves every point. I highly recommend you download this, now. Good job, Deffie!I made a program which did allmost all of those and more, without some features your program has. Once I get some addresses again (and hopefully learn c++ or something) then I can make it again..
Hmm…not a bad level at all. The eyecandy and weapon placement are both very good and all of this adds up for a fun level. I found no glitches, though the level just didn’t feel “smooth.” It’s worth a download, but I’m not sure extended play would be a great idea in this level.
I could have sworn I already reviewed this, but apparently it was deleted. Anyway, here I go:
This level is a hotel with the interesting idea of mixing battle elements in. However, the “gem hunt” mode is made nearly useless by the fact that the battle mode will be disabled if you host in treasure. It’s just another hotel, and I really can’t recommend this for download. Sorry. I’ll leave this unrated, as I do for most hotel levels.
This is an OK program, though I’m not sure it deserves the 8 it currently has. I’m not going to rate it, because my views have been jaded by the simple fact too many of these already exist, and I can’t distinguish between them any longer. This one is good, though.
Edit: on second thought, I will rate this a 6.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
This is a very nice battle level using Agama’s excellent Swamps tileset. When I saw someone using Swamps, I was in dobut, since it’s a somewhat hard set to use. But neither graphically or play-wise does this level fail. The level excels especially in ammo placement, which is near perfect. It also flows very well. The only problem is that the level is very small. It takes a long time to make a large but very good level using this tileset, so I won’t knock this level that much for it. However, this level would not be suitable for multiperson duels or the Battle Server (though I would have no complaints if the Battle Server accepted it.) All in all, and excellent level, definitely worth a look. A big download recommendation.
Sorry Stilltto I ONLY NEW OF ONE MODE THAT WAS ALREADY OUT!! THAT WAS WINTER IDLE! None of the others i have never seen, and if they were not released to puclic, then you cant complain about these modes being released to public b/c they would be the first released to the WHOLE community. And its not that hard to read, at least for me.
The only thing that might be A LITTLE hard to read is the Close JJ2, but it worked fine on mine. And on Archangels. I’ve worked hard on it, for about 3 months, since im a beginner at VB, i had to figure out everything, BUT i had ALOT of help from j2HG members, they didnt make it, but some things i just couldent figure out, that are just a DUH, b/c now i know them. I guess im not in J2HG, huh? …yep.

Just a kewl level.
The gameplay is very very nice, only the eyecandy is very confusing. You don’t know what’s real – and what not.
The ammo placement is the best. Just very good placement, in common with the eyecandy. I don’t think it is so large, it’s just quite small.
But also, as conclusion:
It rocks.
(The end, don’t reading more..)
Just download this.
Nice tileset, a bit boring.
It has got all the stuff, like destr. blocks, hooks, h-poles, v-poles, vines, arrows, spikes, text sign and exit signs. The textures on the tiles are very good, but there arent extra eyecandy thingies and the tileset is rather small. So it get’s boring pretty fast IMO.
Good job, keep making tilesets!

Man, this level rocks. It is well thought out, ammo is spread sparingly (not too sparingly, though), level flow is good. It looks pretty aswell, the tileset played no small part in that though… but neither did Falc’s level making skills. (IE: Defalc did a superb job with merging the layers) It’s quite a superb level. Oh, and it’s large, quite large.
THE END.
P.S.: I can’t believe how much I rule.[This review has been edited by KREZACK]

Very handy for idle servs , preferably people like me ;P.
Ther are many options which are very cool.
The exploding one owns ;P.
I got an av once while using it, but wasn’t
able to repeat it, therefore I wont deduct for that. Very creative and cool program that I would suggest for any program. Good job Red.
I also bump the mark up because it works on windows xp!’
It takes a little bit more work to make them work on xp so yay for Red ;P.

Well, okay, I found the first few things okay, but the foo and freeze were crap, and once I beat freeze I got an error and jazz crashes. I could save, but I could’t load the saved games cuz then Jazz crashes. So I can’t really rate this, but for what I’ve seen I’d rate it something like 6.
Not bad, not bad at all.
Eyecandy is a little simple, but the gameplay is well-made. Keep the great work up. ;)
This is an amazing piece of work.
Almost all the levels are fantastic, and this is a must-download. I can’t recommend this pack enough.
I’ve never been a huge fan of treasure levels, and “Cracco Gemz” is not going to change my view on them. However, I have to say that this is an above average (but not significantly so) treasure level. Calling this level huge is an understatement. This level has more wide open space than Enron has disgruntled stock holders. There are plenty of gems, which makes it good for quick games, but the level usually tends to end up in a simple rush to be the first person to get to the ending spot. While some people may like this approach to treasure games, it does kill a lot of the strategy that is involved in treasure, and negatively effects my rating. Because of this levels gigantic size, it appears that little attention was payed to eyecandy. There were very few tile errors, but that’s not saying much because of the small amount of eyecandy this level contains. This is a treasure level that takes no risks in ingenuity or ideas. It’s old-fashionness can often be a pitfall more often than it is a good thing. It’s worth a download if you are a treasure fan, but if you aren’t, don’t waste a download. Treasure fans, all two of you, might like this level. A six from me, and no download recommendation.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
