This level seems rushed. I’m sure you could make a great level if you worked on it for a longer period of time and didn’t hurry to finish it. Always test every aspect of your level before submitting it, too.
The tileset is not included, but being a collector, I had it anyway. :)
The level is passworded. While I do have it, I am not going to use Password-Killing JCS, because I am against doing it.
I am not going to rate it until you properly package it, anyway.
This is a decent CTF level that has not exactly aged very well. It is small-ish, but features good gameplay that saves it from being awful. There is a decent amount of eyecandy, as well; most of it, however, is standard Heaven issue, and little creativity is shown. Still, it looks fairly good and there are no major bugs. The one-tile mask at the top does scare me, as this is rarely enough to stop flag bug, but I could not cause it in a quick testing period, so I will assume that problem is taken care of. All in all, good, not great, and perhaps worth playing some.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
I like this tileset, but I feel as if just editing the original isn’t a huge thing. And I’m not supposed to rate the excellent example levels. However, I will give this a 7 so as not to ruin a surprisingly good score. I would have liked new material, but this is very nice for a pallete edit. A great edit, but a small pallete edit nonetheless.
Finally! I wondered when you were going to release this.
You know what Mike?
Post that whole story which you explained us in your server ‘how-to-edit’ a tileset as a article on j2o. =)
I don’t think I could rate this. I like it though.
I really think this is a good tileset to make a single player episode with. A brilliant idea demonstrated by EvilMike.
applause
Original,great eyecandy but too hard
Yohoo great story
Spazzyman, can you explain how the program works? I’m having trouble finding my Jazz2.exe with it…
Yes, this is a good lvl. A couple of dead ends and a little too much cabbages but it’s pretty fun to play in, espcially when you lead 9-2. :-)
Download recommended but beware of some weird weapons placement and lots of dead ends.
Both the tilesets are both DRAWN (with some help from ET) Cazz… :)
anyway i found a bug in the ctf level that you couldn’t get to the other teams flag. i’ll reupload the fix
Well, I’ve seen worse…
But none of these levels are good.
-gameplay: really sux
-eyecandy: what eyecandy?
-weapon placement: all wrong
A 4.7 is REALLY the highest I can give this.
Download recommandation: no
Here’s a word of advice: you should spend more time on lvls. If you made something in only two weeks, you can be sure it’s not good enough. [This review has been edited by Waz]
K, now I can rate it…
This level is kinda cool. A little small, but good. Not good as a battle, however. I think there shouldn’t be secrets in a battle. The lvl name is kinda dumb, but that won’t influence my rating.
Here ya go: a 7[This review has been edited by Waz]
A-No tileset included.
B-The fact that you ran out of ideas is no exuse for using someone else’s names.
C-I dont have TSF installed right now so im not going to rate this.
cool level, i give it an 8.2 for: err… ARGH never mind, EvilMike already said all the things to say about this level…
Blaze is irritating like my goldfish.
NOOOOOOOO! Why i MUST ** rate this a 8 *** *** ***….. Die Blaze.
It’s a blarf nice level using the heaven tileset my agadagama. I turn *** ambient lightning on and it looks **** very well. (This is not readable for kids under 99.)
eats blaze YUCK!
The gameplay is ok, but some poles doesn’t work. But ok, you can get stuck with it. NO TEMPLE OF DOOM WORMY RABBIT!
Ahem. Grr.
I agree with WR about the svasjvcmacsvjcvcavcajvacjvcaj poles. 4 seconds is wasting of time.
Blue sx and red rule.
Blaze is tasty with ketchup.
The eyecandy is very good with curry.
The weapon placement must you eat with WRboullioun. Overall nice..
EAT THIS BIG FAT 8 WOFGUY!
Edit: WRsoup tastes great! (With a bit Santa Claus breads).
